I went to LTH's house for lunch and it was RUBBISH!

When will this cold go?! I HATE baby colds, they ar so much worse.
I'm knackered, DJ slept really badly all weekend, and I've basically been awake-ish since 3am. He's buzzing, but I've got no energy to do all the chores which the weekend seems to leave behind!
Its sunny here today though.
Went to a nice pub yesterday, (The Star Inn at Normans Bay) which has an adventure playground! But, as it was cold and damp it was very muddy, so we didn't stay long.
DP took DJ out in the am for a couple of hours so I got a bit of me time, which I am in desperate need of at the moment. As much as I love him dearly, I can't handle just workng and being a Mum constantly, I live for my Saturday lunchbreaks when I can go into little shops and upstairs and not have a screaming child with me!
PCF - I hope your DH's Nan is ok soon.
Eah - Lovely photos, my life does not have enough pink in it - I am jealous!
LTH/UD - Can't believe you had a meet up and I only live down the road and you didn't come to see me.

Ok, I am looking for one of these OBVIOUSLY not full price! But if anyone sees one going cheap please let me know! Even on ebay they are going for about £100!!!

Right, off to clean the kitchen, bathroom, hoover, dust, etc etc. BORING!

Eandh - thanks for the link, that iron looks the dogs. Not sure about the price - but then again, we had one iron go phut, dh bough a chepy from ASDA which was SHITE so we had to buy another one (which is the one that gave out last night) which in total is about 2/3 of yours so maybe we should just go for it. Why is nothing build to last any more?? Sounds like a good deal on the trousers, so sweet of E to spend her birthday money on H, awww!
Reg - thanks for asking, we're safe from flooding thank goodness. There is a burn near us, but it's down a hill, though the hill we live on turned into a stream all of its own with water pouring off the hills. It's left so much rubble it washed with it too! But around about us, we're not as bad as Morpeth, but there's not a river that hasn't burst its banks. And it's going to rain more tomorrow, apparently. We're going to make the most of the sun today, ds2 loves splashing in puddles .
kw3 - glad to hear you've escaped the floods too. Put a bottle of champers in the fridge for tomorrow; Bucks Fizz for breakfast, makes the whole rest of the day seem easier somehow!!
UD/LTH - glad you had a good day yesterday, lol at the chickens/children thing!
PCF - those panic buttons are great, my granny has one she wears round her neck, so when she falls (she does a lot!) she doens't have to worry about being away from the button (except last time she fell, the string had broken and she'd put it in her pocket, but her leg was under her when she fell so she couldn't reach it........!)
Lizz - hope you feel better soon, we've all got a cold at the moment too, really saps your energy.

Luke started plagroup again today and was so much happier in afternoon when he got home. Think he has been really bored as we hae been a bit stuck in the house what with the weather and me being pretty imobile before Rachel was born and after.

Kat- GLad you didnt get flooded! We had scary amount of rain here. And really strong winds which always worries me as we have huge oak trees outside our house. It was our anniversary on sat. DH had to go and rescue my brother as his car broke down and he doesnt have breakdown cover, which took all morning, then DH had to go and buy a plunger to unblock the toilet. Such a romantic day! We couldnt go out as I am still feeding Rachel most of the evening so we had a lasagne and choc triffle from Marks (which was lovely!) so not all bad. It is only our 5th though. We had been together for 10 years last christmas, but we both forgot! Luckily we are as unromantic as each other!

EAH- Looks like the party went really well. Love the photos.
