sleeping still going pretty well - one night not so good but think he was very itchy so in general so far it's been a success. my sister is taking him overnight for the first time tomorrow night so that dh and i can have a night out before the next lo comes along so am looking forward to a little lie in although dont expect to sleep through myself as am getting late pg insomnia.
lizziemum - am feeling pretty good - sore pelvis and tired but nothing unusual - how about you? You must be due really soon.
hersetta - spain sounds great. we've just booked a wee cottage in the south of france for a week in september - trying to weigh up the pros and cons of driving/flying to see which would be more sensible with two los. lol at the baby shoplifting. obviously the way to do it if you were so inclined if they didnt even notice.
my2 - its funny how definite they are that things have to be done right - dh does two little dicky birds with struan but if i try and do it he does the same - tells me no.
interesting how many of you say that either your own or children you know havent slept well until they are in a bed (if they are not too restless sleepers otherwise, so they dont fall out). The guard rail covers quite a lot of the bed so he is unlikely to roll out, and so far - hasn't seemed to want to try and climb over it, but we'll see.
ds has been really really chatty in the last couple of days - he keeps standing in front of the mirror, talking to himself for a good 5 or so minutes at a time - usually starting each sentence with emm.... (makes me wonder if i say that a lot), then babbling away. sometimes he points at things, sometimes he starts laughing, and sometimes he pulls faces in the middle of sentences - I'm convinced he's practising audition pieces for drama school - its really funny to watch but cant laugh or he'd be interrupted and stop.
my2 - I'd say things appear to be starting to pick up slowly - certainly have had more clients ready to put in offers in the last few weeks, so might not be the best time for me to go off, but then the paralegals and secretaries in my office are down to a four day week, so guess if it picks up over the next few months, they can have them back up to 5 days before needing more solicitors.
