Yesterday went well, I did eventually get a d&c, I needed to wait for top gynea surgeon as they wouldnt touch me on dau as I was to much of a risk with my very fragile uterus - high risk of tearing apparently, anyway today I feel fine, I have hardly any bleeding and am looking forward to buying myself some new boy fit jeans - in super skinny size!! am also determined to get back into my billabong dress that has had no where near enough wear for what I paid for it! Thanks for all being here, dont know what I would have done without you mad lot - big hugs to the lot of ya xx

Bloody awful weather out there

We bought a Wii the other day (after hearing how much fun some of you were having with yours) and played it for the first time last night..... i was doing ok on the tennis and bowling games but my downfall was baseball, golf & mini golf..... i will beat dh!!!!

Also on a good note, Jack has slept through 11 out 12 nights that we have been in the new house - that is an all time record he is 3yrs 3mths though!!!!!

DS has had the pox now so only just back at work again. Thanks for all your comments re the house and G, will try and catch up a bit but obv have to look as though working for a wee while first.

TYG- We are ok on the house front at the moment. Summer is busy with family visits and then in September when things go quieter we are going to have a family conference and decide on a plan of action for the future. Wooo Hooo, good things come to those who wait and all that.

I have made do with the paddling pool for the past week. We do have one of those huge pools but it takes ages to inflate and about 2 days to fill. It never seems worth it as usually as soon as it is ready the weather turns.

Afternoon

Just popping in quickly, still manically trying to get things sorted and put on ebay. It's going quite well, apart from having hardly any time to actually do it. C seems to not like the computer room much...... Have made £50.00 over the weekend which I thought was pretty good. All the money is going straight into my overdraft account in a bid to try and get it paid off before the end of September. After that I'll start on paying off my student tuition fee loan. Oh the fun! I've got loads of C's clothes up, mostly 12-18 month stuff that is all new with the tags still on. She got them for her Birthday but they aren't things I'd have picked for her so have gone on the 'unwanted gifts!' pile. Is that awful of me lol?

Had a really not fun trip to a&e on Sunday after a huge bug crawled it's way into Charlotte's ear. I'm still having nightmares about it!

LATL, doesn't seem at all awful to me, no point in keeping stuff that you wouldn't use, though I took a couple of things back with tags on and exchanged them for something I liked better in the shop. Hope you get something for them.

On a bright note, I went to the midwife today. She said I look great and have my 12 week scan set for August 26th. I'm very excited to see this bean.

Oh and also my cousin had a little boy on the 24th who she's called Arran, she was the one who had Ava a month before I had C. 15 month gap to the day, both born on the 24th lol.

And a friend of mine who I used to work with has just had a wee boy on Monday Called William (after him). His poor gf had to have a forcep delivery and has been left in a bit of a mess apparently, poor thing.

I need to come away from ebay, I'm already spending everything I've managed to make pmsl!

CAQL - Good news that you have some distraction and a "plan". Sometimes even just having that really helps to get through the tough bits. of your pool. Am tempted to fill the birth pool with cool water and get in!

My friend from NCT was due on the 25th and had her baby last night. DH has ants in his pants. Came home early last night because he was convinced "something was going to happen". Here's me trying not to think about it too much and just get on with things and he's mooning about at work feeling anxious. He was horrified yesterday when he called and I was on my way home from Brent Cross. Thinks I shouldn't be "straying" so far. (It's a shopping centre 5 miles away...) I may go insane if I sit in the house for the next two weeks.

Am going to get legs and bikini waxed in an hour. Beautician is going to be horrified when she sees me barrelling through the door.

It is very frustrating isn't it TYG? My last two pregancies went one week overdue and you just get so bored!

I am still hoping this LO decides to make a natural appearance before Monday. We all sat down with name lists last night and are no closer.

Bored! SO BORED! It's too hot to crack on with house type stuff. The office is the last room that needs "sorting", but it's like an oven in there so I just can't manage it.

Had a Brazilian wax just now (although I did tell her not to do the back. Can you imagine?) I'm sure the midwife will appreciate my efforts.

Walked A to minders, home again, then back to collect her. Too hot to walk home the second time so got the bus, but that's about 3 miles walking. Between that and the fact I've been bouncing on the gym ball for hours I really hope I get some movement. All that I've managed so far is to get sweaty and give myself a stitch. Tsk.

Cool water in ya pool TYG..... great idea, Relax in the cool with cup of Raspberry leaf and a good book.
