Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
cravingaquietlife · 26/07/2008 10:35

oh I forgot I'd named changed... tis Mrs JB!!

twelveyeargap · 26/07/2008 10:39

Will MSN you. By the way - DH has been using my MSN login (I never use MSN usually). I just thought I'd mention that in case anyone thinks I'm ignoring them!

twelveyeargap · 26/07/2008 10:41

Very nice of you by the way!

I like your name change. How are you feeling about the house situation?

Pinkjenny · 26/07/2008 11:34

New pics added.

Will post properly later.

LookattheLottie · 26/07/2008 17:02

Afternoon

Scoot so sorry to hear about the girls, what an awful thing to have. Sounds frightfully unpleasant, I hope they're all better soon.

TYG and Sky, eeek! Piles sound, also fairly unpleasant! Hope they bugger off soon for you!

Pink lovely pics of Lexie.

AM what a monkey Ella is lol, I couldn't stop laughing at the chocolate pictures. Very brave woman!

Lups glad you had a lovely day yesterday.

MKG he will miss you lots, you're his mummy!

Jam, glad scan all went ok. 20 weeks already, sheesh!

Elkie hope tests are all ok, sure thye will be.

Hello to anyone I 've missed.

Desperatley trying to declutter....again! Should be moving out sometime in August and I'm trying to prepare for it as best as I can. The last thing I want is to be taking crap with me, so it's all going on ebay! Attempting to ebay all day whilst keeping an eye on C is mighty hard work, especially as nobody else seems to want to watch her either! Poor child lol.

Went into town yesterday and had a fab time. Got Charlotte some new shoes for the hotter weather (when it's here!) and got her some fab pink ones. They look a bit like doodles only they're by Bellamy instead. They were only £12.00 as well, was dreading the price talk as I thought he would bring out expensive £35.00 sandals. Was relieved when I heard the words "twelve pounds". She's still in her proper shoes, but when it's hot they aren't suitable to wear. But these new ones are great, and have a chunky rubber sole so fab for walking in too! She walked all the way home yesterday in them.

The weather's been nice the last couple of days so I've stuck C out in the graden all day to tire herself out - it's been working a treat. Bathed, fed, bed and asleep by 7:15pm = heaven

Will be adding new pics soon. Off to finish tackeling the ebay pile!

Lupins71 · 27/07/2008 07:45

TYG ty got it ta x

I kind of had a nice day yesterday, we ad arranged to go to tintagel, only because dad had suggested it, mum ad said she was coming over and was happy to go out, when mum got here and we said where we were going she said we hadnt told her that and it was too hot for her to go walking around all day, I was already a bit stressed at this point as my printer was playing up, so they all - dp included kept going on about how miserable and hard to live with I was, how Im inflexible and want my own way - WTF!!!! I put up with so much shite from all of them, so I snapped, and burst into tears, I was so annoyed, none of them seem to realise what I might be going through at the moment and what I probably have to do on monday - yes I do cope because I bloody have to because no other bugger comes and helps, but that doesnt mean Im a heartless cow - I just have to manage Im the one who looks after all of them, I tried talking to dp who turned it around to his problems and how hard it is living away, anyway we went to Morwellham Quay which is like a mock victorian tin mine village, dd found it quite boring apart from the horse and cart ride, and guess what we were walking around in the sun all day - funny cos I thought that was what they didnt want to do

Sorry rant over- for now!!

LL good news on the shoes - I do love a bargain, its great being able to get them out in the sunshine

Posting some pics of beach outing

AbbyLou · 27/07/2008 09:43

Sod the lot of them Lups, do what you want next time!!
I'm hoping we hsve the same heavy showers today that we had yesterday ie none. I am off to a wedding later and dh is joining me fo rhte evening do. It's a friend I work with and should be a laugh.

Lupins71 · 27/07/2008 10:56

ABBY thanks - I wasnt even that bloody botered about going to Tintagel just trying to keep the peace - Oh well!! Have a lovely time at the wedding

MKG · 27/07/2008 13:21

Hello everyone. I hope you all are having a good weekend. Well good news on the car front. I think this week I will get the new one. Yippie!

I'm so tired it's ridiculous. I just want to go back to sleep and stay there.

Lupins71 · 27/07/2008 18:51

MKG fingers crossed on the car front, is there anyone arounbd so you can get your head down for a bit

Crikey my family is disfunctional, my long lost father turns up for a weeks holiday - with his huge dog that my dog keeps trying to fight, just been out for a nice day with said father when dp calls my mum as left her fella and he has had to go and pick up her and guess what .... her huge dog that I should add is incontinet! all the dogs have just had a huge fight because my mum - who is a bit tiddly just let hers go up to dads whose dog growled so mine - the smallest of the lot went charging in and bit dads dog and then my day I want my house back from all these dogs!!!!

MarsLady · 27/07/2008 19:02

Saw the thread title and thought I'd missed TYG's birth announcement. LG&T you should have told me you were going to be up the road. I'd've invited myself waved

twelveyeargap · 27/07/2008 22:48

Jaysis Lupins. I'd have had a major strop and as for the dogs... How are you feeling? Are you thinking you might need a D&C?

Found the tiny puncture in my birth pool. Yay! Just done a repair. Was going to order a new one and discovered the La Bassine's are out of stock til Sept. Decided to have another go at finding the puncture and whatever way I leaned on the pool, I could suddenly hear where the air was coming out. Phew. Having a Bombay Sapphire to celebrate. Woo hoo.

Cmon baby!

JamInMyWellies · 28/07/2008 08:41

Lups tel them all to fook off!

TYG all set for a go now.

Abby how is your foot?

LW glad all is ok with the little munchkin.

Bloody nora its been hot this weekend. We bought Archie a paddling pool mucho fun. He loved it just dived straight in with the dog poor Louis was just lying in it and rolling around while A was attempting to ride him like a horse. Honestly tis like a comedy escapade round our house at the mo. And why oh why do your neighbours pop round and invite you to a little drink round theirs after you have spent the entire day sweating in the garden but give you no chance to go and freshen up first and then you go to theres for half an hour and everyone looks like they have stepped of the pages of a glossy mag while meanwhile I looked like I had stepped off the pages of heat what are you wearing!

Lupins71 · 28/07/2008 09:53

I am reckoning a d&c will keep you all posted, as for the folks its family so what can you do

AprilMeadow · 28/07/2008 09:55

Lups that is shocking. I would have told them where to go!

PMSL JAM at the image of A trying to ride Louis

Had a quiet weekend (no builders in) and didnt really do anything.

Got to start hunting through all the boxes that are dotted around the house as my tickets for Kylie this saturday are in 1 of them! MIL packed the stuff on the shelf where they were put and i have no idea where that box went!! Also trying to get my oven fixed as the main oven doesnt work!! I have my Dad coming over on Thursday for his birthday along with 6 other family members. I wanted to do a nice roast but i might have to do something that either cooks on the hob or under the grill.... fingers crossed they can get someone out to me before thursday.

AprilMeadow · 28/07/2008 09:57

oh Lups you poor thing, am sorry that you think its heading that way

elkiedee · 28/07/2008 10:54

Sorry Lupins

Jam, I'll tell our cats they have something to be thankful for, they're a bit small for D to try and ride on them.

cravingaquietlife · 28/07/2008 11:01

Thinking of you today Lups. lots of love xxx

TYG, are you birthing? thought about you on D day yesterday!

twelveyeargap · 28/07/2008 11:07

Birthing? I wish. I am sweating.

Meh. I may have two more weeks to wait.

How were the holidays?

cravingaquietlife · 28/07/2008 11:20

tsk!! Holidays are still going, sister leaves tomorow. It's quite hard work but nice.

MKG · 28/07/2008 12:50

TYG I think you'll go sooner than 2 weeks.

Lupins-- I'm sorry but your dog situation makes me laugh. It's like your doctor DoLittle or something.

SKYTVADDICT · 28/07/2008 13:08

Too hot, too tired and too uncomfortable!
Can't sleep. Getting pregnant in November is not to be recommened (not that it was planned ). Never having had a summer birth before I would not recommend one! Rant over!

One week to go - keep having little panic attacks over c/s but at least I know it will be next Monday - if not before.

DP pissed me off yesterday. Maybe I am hormonal. I said we should get the shell paddling pool out and cleaned up for C if the weather is going to stay like this (he spent all day yesterday playing with a bucket of water) and DP said "yes but we would have to watch him all the time you know" with a very disaproving frown! WTF! I pointed out C was my third child and I hadn't managed to drown the other two in paddling pools!

Nothing else much happening, DDs back from their Dads tomorrow night - at Drayton Manor today apparently. I can't be bothered to even leave the house. C in bed now for a couple of hours so I am just off to do a bit or ironing then rest.

twelveyeargap · 28/07/2008 13:31

You'll have your baby before me, SKY, mark my words!

I was just nodding off in bed last night, after thrashing around for ages, when DH came to bed. Was pleased he wasn't asleep downstairs for a change, but just as I was going off again he (due to copious amounts of cider during the evening), started snoring. Rubbed his head and managed to get him to stop, tried to sleep again. He started snoring again... and so on until 1.30 when I gave up and went up to S's room, which was like an oven as the windows have been shut since Wednesday. Sweated and fidgeted for a while and fell asleep. Awake again at 3.20 - which has become my regular "wake up time" every night. Tenner says I go into labour at that time (if I'm not bloody well induced!). Fell back asleep eventually, heard the milkman around 4.30 and then A, inexplicably, decided it was time to get up at 5.30. I nearly cried. Eventually dragged myself up at 5 to 6, brought my pillow back to our room and DH was clueless to the fact I'd been gone all night. A fell asleep on the way home from the village this morning, just as I was feeling slightly perkier and not ready for a nap. Now I can barely stay awake.

The mums and babies from baby signing are meeting in the park (up a big hill) at 2. Think I will go and see if the walk will shift things. It's more likely I will just make myself hotter and sweatier...

Moany, moan. Maybe I should bugger off to the "overdue" thread and have a whinge.

elkiedee · 28/07/2008 13:43

Good news, I got my initial test results at 11 am today, after wondering how I was going to avoid climbing the walls - all clear for Downs, Edwards and Patau Syndrome, and the full results should come back in two weeks time.

TYG and Sky, I don't envy you at all right now. And Sky, I would be cross with your dp too. Would there be space for you to join C in there? We took D to a park paddling pool yesterday, and there were more than a few parents accompanying toddlers in there. He was disappointed to be taken out when he did a poo though.

AbbyLou · 28/07/2008 13:53

That's great news about the results Elkie, bet that's a huge weight off your mind.
I too don't envy any of you pregnant people in this heat. It's bad enough just being overweight!!
Jam, the foot is well on the mend now, thanks for asking. I managed to wear heels all day yesterday at the wedding and it doesn't hurt now unless it is touched.
Had a lovely time at said wedding, it was just too, too hot. My friend Kelly, the bride, asked for the photos to be stopped because she felt unwell. She collapsed a few minutes later and had to sit inside with iced drinks, ice on her head etc ofr a good hour. Luckily she felt better later and it didn't ruin her day. I think she just felt a bit embarassed.
Both kids are out with their grandparents today so I have the whole house to myslef all day! It wouls have been a good opportunity to have a massive clean but I felt lousy this morning due to copious amounts of wine yesterday and I just can't motivate myself.
I had a quick jump about on the Wii fit as it's weigh-in night tonight. I'm dreading it tonight because I've had a bit of a bad week. If I've stayed the same I'll be happy I think!
