Trace, i can probably send you some bits, if you can email me your details and any preferences (eg tops or bottoms, skirts or trousers). You can FB me or it's jamantha@ hotmail.com

LackaDAISYcal · 17/08/2008 19:42

does no-one want to talk to me any more?

OP posts:
JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 17/08/2008 19:47

I would talk to you Daisy, but watching tv and catching up with DH.

LackaDAISYcal · 17/08/2008 19:50

I was going to sing "nobody loves me...." but that would be too gross for words

I am bored. I have been confined to the sofa all day and DH is grumbling about having to do housework as I'm hosting my book party tomorrow afternoon.

OP posts:
HollyPutTheKettleOn · 17/08/2008 20:44

I'm here daisy, trying to finish off my reviews. Hope the book party goes well tomorrow. Who have you invited, just people you know?

I don't think you're unclean

Ds fell asleep at 6.30 (HURRAH), but dd woke him up an hour later (BOO). Now I know he is not going to go to sleep until midnight.....grrrrr!

I just went into my garden to close the garage and have come back in with a huge pile of plums! There are loads out there on the tree! I've also got loads of apples and pears to pick tomorrow. There is going to be a lot of fruit puree served up for pudding over the next few weeks!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 17/08/2008 20:49

I have just been looking at the top 5 names threads and my dcs name were very popular...is that a good or bad thing? I have decided on my next, but never going to actually be born because I'm never having any more, babies' names. Florence or Mabel for a girl or Dexter for a boy, I love Dexter!

Daisy, have you got any names in mind yet?

LackaDAISYcal · 17/08/2008 20:51

hey holly, am v of your fruit trees.

I'm going to tackle the forms tomorrow. I've already started with some, but need to clarify a point or two with jessica, although you might be able to help. On the skincare I was told I was to test, eg organic baby wipes, but then the comapny have sent me their entire range. Does that mean I have to review the entire range, or just the product on jessica's list?

Although we have a few options, we are not in agreement yet and have decided to wait until virgil is born before making a decision......but it definately won't be virgil

OP posts:
HollyPutTheKettleOn · 17/08/2008 20:55

Oh, I don't know daisy. I didn't put my name down for any of the "extras", I have only got my main thing to test. I would have thought you'd just test what is on the form, but I think you should probably check just to make sure.

The fruit trees are fab, but I have to make sure I keep picking otherwise they go mouldy and they attract wasps. I FUCKING HATE WASPS!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 17/08/2008 20:57

There was a female, yes female, sprinter called Virgil in the olympics. I thought of you!

LackaDAISYcal · 17/08/2008 20:58

lol I saw that sprinter and thought "how odd"

I'll email jessica tomorrow.

I hate doing these tester forms. I left them til the last minute again. I did this last year, but it wasn't so bad then as you could email them, I don't know why she wants them posted. I would hate to be bombarded with 1000s of bits of paper!

It is really hard to make stuff up think of things to say !

Sputnik · 17/08/2008 21:24

Glad you're feeling a bit better today Holly

justbeme · 17/08/2008 21:53

Im posting and running!
Did you see my FB piccies of my new ring?? (ignore my wrinkly hands tho!!)

Holly, Ive got a plum tree, be careful - when you open the plums up - if theres little brown bits around the stone it means theres a maggot in there - so far most of my plums have got maggots or maybe they've got worms too!!! Yuk! - so Im cutting into the plums first rather than just taking a bite!!

Night night xx

ps good luck for the test holly!

Shit, the house just shook. hope that wasn't an earthquake.

LackaDAISYcal · 17/08/2008 21:58

very nice and sparkly jbm

OP posts:
LackaDAISYcal · 17/08/2008 21:59

I hope it was sputnik....otherwise you have giants trying to play monopoly with you

Is italy bad for quakes then? like serious ones?

OP posts:
HollyPutTheKettleOn · 17/08/2008 22:09

Wow sputnik! A real earthquake! I have a Japanese friend and she was in a proper big earthquake in Japan, she said it was brilliant!

Thanks jbm, I'll watch for the maggots! I've just stewed about 5-6 of them with some apple and no maggots so far, but thanks for the warning! Hope you are ok.

Ds is still up, what a surprise. I'm going to bed in a minute, so I'll do my usual trick of getting into into bed with the bedroom door shut and letting him play on the bedroom floor until he gets tired. Atm he is pushing his Thomas round the floor going "toot toot"!

I am starting to get a bit nervous about my test, but also quite excited. I may be a driver by this time tomorrow. I'll cry if I don't pass I know it!

I'm shitting myself!

Night all, my test is at 2.30, so waft me some good vibes at that time!

xxxx

LackaDAISYcal · 17/08/2008 22:11

good luck holly...will be thinking about you

we had an earthquake......earlier this year shook my bed and the house, scared the living daylights out of me and was 5.5 on the richter scale. epicentre was in N Lincolnshire.

Morning all

My DD has got 6 teeth all emerging at once ....4 of which are back ones......so it's misery city here . She is actually remarkably good natured considering how red and sore her gums look. Bonjela is being used by the tube full.....neurofen when times are really bad.

She is also beginning to develop her independant streak especially when eating and won't let me near her food now....but she's doing OK. Its the habit of upending the plate over the floor when she's had enough that really pisses me off.....she has really got quite a temper now as well, throwing herself to the floor dramatically when not allowed and screeching....hard life being a baby isn't it ?

Won't be joing you on Thursday I'm afraid ....I'm just not well enough and will get myself in too much of a state...

Holly, good luck for today x

JBM....fab ring....congratulations

Right, off to put DD down for a nap so I can have a couple of hours headspace....

HellHathNoFury · 18/08/2008 09:10

Morning all.

Not sure about thursday here either. DS is still coughing up a lung and not feeling very well, very clingy and grizzly - he might improve in which case no problem but I don't think it would be very fair of me to lug him round london for the day if he is still poorly. Fingers crossed he'll shake it off!

Sputnik · 18/08/2008 09:10

At least you will be getting the them over with Norty.

Don't think it was a earthquake after all, I've been in weak ones and it wasn't really like that. DH reckons a homemade firework, though there wasn't much bang.

Italy can be really bad for earthquakes, though where I live it's not bad.

Holly, you will pass I'm sure. Mega vibes on their way

Sputnik · 18/08/2008 14:35

Baby Sputnik has been standing freehand for several second a lot recently, and today took and actual step! I suppose he'll be walking soon. DD went for months walking only with her little trolley thing and didn't actually walk properly til 17 months, but I've a feeling we'll be skipping that bit.

Anyone heard from Bumper recently? She hasn't been around for a while.

[taps foot impatiently for update from Holly]

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 18/08/2008 15:28

Driving is fucking over-rated anyway ! Fucking examiners!

Well done baby sputnik!

Sputnik · 18/08/2008 16:01

Oh bollocks.
Actually come to think of it all the best people pass second time around .
