Having got right royally pissed off with Tiktok on an earlier thread, she really got me quite upset when she dissed my good intentions and experience (as she does I've noticed). It distracted me all day and ruined my morning.

Still, I stood my ground without being rude to her and her advice (which, incidentally, I thought was lacking). But you know when that happens you are too sucked in. MN shouldn't ruin your RL after all.

Picnic was great, and nice to meet some other MNers. BouncingTurtle organised it, and kiskidee was there too, and maybe another few, but I didn't get to speak to everyone. The local press were there, so we are to be featured in the Northern Echo....woohoo.

DD had a great time, stealing babies toys and helping herself to other people's picnics.

And I'm sunburned to hell. I did my front before I left and DH was going to do my back.....but in the rush to get out we forgot. So I am two-toned

Jammy - im only working 12hrs pw - 2 nights - 17:15 - 23:15 - so I can't complain really. I tried my uniform on at the weekend and everyone laughed at me!!

trace, good to hear from you and sorry to hear about Chloe's op. My cousin's DD had a tube in for a while as she was very badly IUGR when born (cousin didn;t know she was pregnant until she was 5mo gone and had been drinking/smoking etc etc). Anyhoo......her DD is now eleven and is a sparky, feisty nearly teenager. Try not to worry too much.
