Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
foxythesnowfox · 19/07/2008 21:45

... hope its not for you Daisy

yes, 2 weeks today. But I've got my head around it, so it will be fine.

inspired, I have put some photos on FB.

Hey Fury, just one more chore for today, huh?

There are so many PG bumps around! I'm very . Everywhere I look I see a pregnant woman!

HellHathNoFury · 19/07/2008 21:50

Oh Foxy don't... I know he is thinking it too... but I. Just. Can't. Be. Arsed.

I looked at your pics, ahhhhhhhh

I should put some up too but that involves getting off my secreterial spread and I am just not sure I'm up to it.

foxythesnowfox · 19/07/2008 21:54

Backing up your drives or getting intimate with one's partner? thats a close call ....

The drives win, at least its sensible.

LackaDAISYcal · 19/07/2008 22:00

foxy, photos are fab; your DCs are all soo beautiful; very delicate and classic "english rose" faces

right am off to bed; tiptoeing past DDs room and not flushing the loo just in case.

HellHathNoFury · 19/07/2008 22:00

I have OCD. Backing up ones drives is always prefereable to mess

foxythesnowfox · 19/07/2008 22:02

LOL!

and thats a goodnight from her, and a goodnight from me

HellHathNoFury · 19/07/2008 22:25

And not to be outdone, recent pics of my monolith child (weighed in yesterday at 15kgs, whatever that is in real weight), he who has grown 2cm in 12 days, are now on FB.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 20/07/2008 06:52

Everyone's photos look good. We should all be very proud.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 20/07/2008 08:36

OMG! I was downstairs earlier with jamlet and I got some toys out for her, and then she got a load more out, including the duplo, which as you know gets everywhere, so by the time we'd finished it did look like an explosion in a toy factory. I then went up to bed for a nap and DH came down with her. While I've been gone she's pulled all her books of the bookcase and got her puzzles out so there are pieces of those all over as well! You'd be forgiven for not knowing what colour carpet we have at the moment.

Ah well, she's asleep on DH's lap at the moment and looks so peaceful And it'll all clear up quick enough at the end of the day.

Bumperlicious · 20/07/2008 10:01

Morning all

Jammy, I did get your email, but forgot to check diary. Defo can't do weds, probably the 1st but will confirm.

Bloody knackered. DD was up from about 1 to 3 last night. Refused to sleep, was just crying. DH and I both knackered. And now she has gone down for her nap some fucker outside is using a power saw - arghhhhh!

LackaDAISYcal · 20/07/2008 10:11

yay, I had a reasonable sleep.

DD was up four times, but DH managed to settle her by rubbing her back still in bed. She is almost back to her usual self this morning and is charging around getting into mischief; we have played our regular game of kitchen cupboard attack, where I have to race round the kitchen getting to all the cupboard doors and hold them shut before she gets to them to try and open them. It's great fun, you should all try it

LackaDAISYcal · 20/07/2008 10:14

bumper, looks like I've pased the crying baby insomnia on to you...soree! We have come to the conclusion that it has been DDs teeth as she has had some really nasty caustic nappies as well...or a sore throat as I've woken up with a nasty one this morning.

Bumperlicious · 20/07/2008 10:20

DD now awake in her got. I am ignoring her

Jut been looking at all your pics, everyone genuinely has gorgeous children, not an ugly one in sight! I'll mail some of DD eventually, you know I hate FB! DD looks more and more like a scruffy street urchin! She has mad untamable hair like an old english sheep dog and usually a dirty face as she hates having it washed!

Oh, did I tell you she may be in the BLW book coming out in November? My BFC has links with Gill Rapely and she'd been looking for pincher grip photos which DH had already taken for a local weaning leaflet.

Bumperlicious · 20/07/2008 10:21

Yeah, I just noticed a new tooth yesterday. It's my own fault as I was just saying to my friend that DD has been really good with her teeth...famous last words

LackaDAISYcal · 20/07/2008 10:29

bumper, DD is usually like that; she hates me combing her hair (in fact see her edward scissorhands look in my beaches folder).

she only looked good yesterday cos she was scrubbed up for a party and hadn't eaten enough to get in a mess.

re the teething, I think they might be getting either their eye teeth or some molars; both of which cause horrible pain and discomfort iirc from DS.

Right, the laundry is waiting. I need to put stuf away so I can see where I am for packing for our holidays on Friday

Oh, and I had a message from Ria; she has broken the pooter this time (not her DH) so will be back when it's sorted

LittleMissNorty · 20/07/2008 10:38

Morning

I know what you mean about the kitchen cupboards....but my DH finally put all the cupboard locks on yesterday and now we are all getting pissed off with not being able to open them

Bumperlicious · 20/07/2008 10:38

Yep, DD is getting a top front front and an eye tooth. She is pretty miserable with it.

Bumperlicious · 20/07/2008 10:43

When dd woke up last night she kept saying "woof" and yesterday she got scared by a jack russell barking at her. I wonder if she had a bad dream?

Bumperlicious · 20/07/2008 10:45

We only have a teeny kitchen so we just have a gate at the door way (too small even for a door!).

LackaDAISYcal · 20/07/2008 10:46

lol norty. you'll get used to it, and then you'll start trying to undo the latch in every cupboard you come across whether there is a safety catch on it or not

LackaDAISYcal · 20/07/2008 10:48

aw bless bumper. DD has had a couple of scary dreams as well.

I've tried putting her down for a nap, but she is having none of it

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 20/07/2008 10:48

Just back from swimming. Jamlet has learnt that when I sit her on the edge of the pool it means she's going to get a dunking. She sits as giggles as I count 1,2,3 and on the count of 3 screws her face up tight Then I lift her up high and splash her down into the pool, briefly underwater.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 20/07/2008 10:56

Am I the only one not planning on getting cupboard locks? (Note, it doesn't mean we won't get them, just that we are not planning it at the moment)

LittleMissNorty · 20/07/2008 11:02

wait until she's crawling in every cupboard every 5 fecking seconds....you'll change your mind

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 20/07/2008 11:07

Well she does open the cupboards, and with one exception I let her get on with it. At the moment she loves getting the egg cups and espresso cups out and playing with them.
