Yey for our birthday SOL

Brain emptied .....

mammyjo · 08/07/2008 12:48

Hello!

Runny, I did post on your other thread, but then read this one and saw that W will be getting an echo. That is even better, if there is anything to worry about (which I am assuming the doc's think is unlikely) then you will know, and if it finds that everything is normal then you will have the peace of mind that comes with that. Hope you are ok today xxx

I have no contact at all with my first boyfriend who was a bit of a t*er tbh. I do often wonder what became of him though!

Oooggs, sorry to hear you feel so crap and had a rough night too . I wish I lived closer that I could offer some constructive help. Hope you are ok xxx

SHA, hope Leo is back to himself soon. Poor little man.

Bramshott, I know exactly what you mean with end of term tiredness. Ds is ready for the holidays now. He really cried when I left him at school this morning, and that is not like him at all. He kept saying "I love you, I don't want to go to school mummy." Talk about a guilt trip, I felt so mean leaving him there. They are off on a school trip tomorrow though, so that should cheer him up a bit!

elkiedee · 08/07/2008 13:00

Like MJ I have no wish to make contact with my first boyfriend (from sixth form days), though I've had some contact with my 3rd and am Facebook friends with 2 men I never quite went out with properly but had some involvement with - one now works with dp and is probably more his friend than mine (they first met through me).

CaptainDippy · 08/07/2008 16:14

Afternoon all!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 08/07/2008 17:40

hellooooooooooooo

was late for work again this morning, let myself get distracted

Been to dentist today, M has beautiful teeth I don't clean them for him, I taught him how to do it and he's done it himself for a couple of years now, so he must be doing it right!

Spent my morning at work searching for hotels, booking train tickets, and checking that tonights hotels really were booked and I hadn't imagined it! (long story, but there have been occasions in the past where they've turned up to a hotel and the booking hasn't existed!)

Oh, and talking about the 3 f's that make a good night out in the eyes of my colleagues - care to guess ladies??

StealthPolarBear · 08/07/2008 17:57

Hi everyone
runny, how worrying, glad it's being followed up. No advice sorry but all the advice on that other thread seems very reassuring xx
WCL - hope antibiotics have an effect soon
Sorry to everyone suffering end of term troubles
all fine here, T currently eating mud again

PillockOfTheCommunity · 08/07/2008 17:59

Little boys were made to eat mud SPB

mammyjo · 08/07/2008 18:05

Oh yes, boys are not boys unless filthy dirty and with vile habits (think nose picking and rubbing on the bed , mud eating, beetle eating, copious amounts of farting too if my ds is anything to go by)!

mammyjo · 08/07/2008 18:06

As for the 3 f's, I am unsure whether at least one word may be suitable for public viewing!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 08/07/2008 18:14

actually they managed to twist them into f's that wouldn't fail the work filters .....

CaptainDippy · 08/07/2008 18:18

HANG ON!!!!!

My DD2 is also a vile little creature .....

Should have been born a boy

Three F's .... mmmmmmm....

Flower (arranging)

Flute (music)

PillockOfTheCommunity · 08/07/2008 19:11

I'll suggest them to the boys tomorrow Dips

Doobydoo · 08/07/2008 19:15

Hi All.Hope everyone is/will be ok!
Ds1 whacked M with tennis racket earlier.M was behind him.I t was a hideous whack.Dp was in room and ha dback turned.M has a massive lump, made me and dp feel sick.I haven't given calpol as want to see how he goes.He is abed at the mo.I have now banned all racket and golf club swinging i the house.I spend alot of time saying be careful etc but obviously at nearly 9 ds1 still needs reminding.

PillockOfTheCommunity · 08/07/2008 19:22

Dooby, poor M!
Still, one of the perils of having an older sibling I think!

StealthPolarBear · 08/07/2008 20:06

dooby

oooggs · 08/07/2008 20:27

poor Milo [ouch]

thank you mammyjo

well we have been to school, I was nearly in tears when James tried on some uniform for size, he chose the colour of his book and pe bags and we bought a tie, I didn't know but only school around here where children wear shirts and ties except in summer!

He is over very excited and I am in shock (as will need a 2nd mortgage to pay for it all) worked out that all 4 dcs will be at primary school at the same time

katy - little boys are yuk (big ones aren't much better )

Ellie - well done on Matthews teeth

End of term - can't wait!!! 7 weeks with no Rainbows to run

Sexonlegs · 08/07/2008 21:15

Evening

Dooby, poor M. How is he?

POTC, great news re M's teeth. Reminds me that I need to re-book a check up for me and B.

Oooggs, glad the trip to school went well albeit expensive. Is it a private school? V unusual to wear ties. Hope you get a better night tonight btw.

Runny, how are you doing today?

MJ, pmsl at the description of things that your ds does

Elkie, how are you feeling today?

Caz/Bramshott, you tarts! I found my ex on facebook too He was a bit of a t**er as well, but v good in the sack !

Also know what you ean re end of term getting close. B is shattered. I had to wake her up at 7.45 today. She is also quite tearful at times; we were watching Ice Age and there is a bit where one of the animals gets hurt. She said "mummy this is so sad" and next minute she burst in to tears and we were having a hug on the sofa with me welling up.

Have to say though that whilst the summer break will be good, I am not looking forward to it hugely.

How is everyone else ce soir?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 08/07/2008 21:16

Ange and I were just discussing our little boys looking all grown up in school uniform!

AngeG · 08/07/2008 21:24

Hello all

Sorry I've been deserting you all.

Oooggs I know how you feel about school. Jake was there today meeting his teacher and classmates. He didn't have to wear uniform, but tried it on the other night and looked so grown up .

Bless James wearing a tie! I think we should all post pics of our LOs wearing their uniform on their first day!

I should like to meet up with one of my early boyfriends he was rather well endowed

Hello everyone else. xxx

PillockOfTheCommunity · 08/07/2008 21:41

Ange
and talking like that whilst on the phone to your mother too

Narrowly averted a HUGE row with my dad over the funeral. Justin being a twunt again so J is going to have to come with me. M is coming already, his dad is bringing him over so that he can be at the buffet afterwards. My cousin is coming so she can take J off during the service at the crem. Dad is not happy. Doesn't think J should be there. "people won't be fussing over how cute he is, they're mourning" I know that dad, and if I wasn't sure there were enough family there to help he wouldn't be coming (my gran, uncle, cousin, all are mum's family so will be ok to help out). If he doesn't come then someone has to stay home to look after him and I don't want that. Tried to tell dad that I see it as more of a celebration of Nan's life but he doesn't. Eventually dad and I agreed to just not talk about it anymore .
My sister is coming up on Thursday and staying til Sunday, she's always the perfect one in dad's eyes because he doesn't see her much, so I'm stressed about that too.

I am expecting a rather drunken phonecall at some point tonight so should really get some sleep in first ......

PillockOfTheCommunity · 08/07/2008 21:43

I'd been feeling a bit vague about Nan's death, think this may be what triggers the tears to kick in tbh, feel them welling up now

geordieminx · 08/07/2008 21:45
