Oh Runny. What's he doing? Men are a nuisance.

Thanks Phd - my brain is mush tonight!

And over really stupid little things.

He's worked away for the past 3 nights, so he has quite a bit of washing. I ask him to bring it in, and he wants to to know what the rush is

Then, he starts bathing the boys, and asks me to get the towels, pyjamas etc. Why on earth didn't he get all that before they went in!

Had a meeting with J nursery teacher today. Dh has known about this for ages, and asked on Tues if I could rearrange it. School were lovely, but said no, because of timetables, coming to end of term etc. Today, dh then acts all gutted because he's missed meeting J new teacher. FFS, he's had enough time to get the time off. But oh no, that would be way too easy and simple. Just let runny get on with sorting everything out.

Report
PhDlifeNeedsaNewLife · 03/07/2008 22:01

oh yes RH, when dh does ds's nappy he will get ds naked, then call to me for spare nappy/wipes etc. Or leave ds while he goes to fetch them. Like ds is going to lie patiently waiting!

Sorry your dh is bugging you though.

I felt really rough this morning. Couldn't quite put my finger on it, so after taking the boys to nursery, rang work and told them I wouldn't be in.
Told dh, and his words were "are you really that bad then?"
No dear, I'm not, but quite frankly, if I don't start looking after myself, no-one else will

PhD, its hardly rocket science is it? He's now fallen asleep on our bed fully clothed, cuddling J

I know he works long hours.
I know he pays for nearly everything
I know he thinks the world of us.

So it just feels like I'm nagging

Report
PhDlifeNeedsaNewLife · 03/07/2008 22:09

yes, but then you think, hang on, I'm working hard too, why do I have to do all the thinking?! I have little fantasies that one day I will go on strike and leave him to get through a day without me saying, "now we will have lunch and no it won't be just an apple"!

runnyhabbit · 03/07/2008 22:13

oh dear Runny

some days they are more annoying than others!

SOL - Molly is still a bit up and down, but has had no medicine today

C has pretty much recovered, but will have tomorrow off as we have to keep them off for 48 hours after a bug

I did indeed feel very young

but then I felt very old when the head girl asked how old I was, and I realised I was 7 months pg with ds1 when I was her age

have got the majority of his uniform now, and am £49 lighter!

Morning

Sorry Runny, I asked what was up and then buggered off to bed!

I can totally empathise with everything you have said.

I talk to dh about the minor things and tbh he does make an effort for a couple of days, but then things go back to how they were!

Hope you are feeling better and brighter today xx

Phd, pmsl at havin an apple for lunch. Just about sums up the situation

Caz, glad to hear dd's are on the mend. Wednesday was the last day K had any medicine!

Right, need to get on so see you later. x

Rushing past, off to Monkey Music so must go and slap some make-up on.

SOL - yes there was a vague plan to meet up on 26 July. I am free, Dippy is free, but we haven't got further than that to make any sort of plan . . . Any ideas? How about a picnic somewhere nice? Would mean cars rather than train though. Let's keep thinking.

Runny - hope you are feeling better today! Like everyone else, I can empathise

Glad work is a bit better POTC - your boss sounds ace.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a working PC with a working internet connection and no stupid bloody sodding mmmmms everywhere (although dylan is very keen to join in so there may still be some random letters popping up!)

Actually feeling rather pleased with myself as desktop wouldnt connect at all at first or even recognise router but I have managed to fix it myself!! [smug] Admittedly I was up till gone 2 last night working on it and then awake at half 6 again but I've done it!!!

And now I have nothing more to say...

Will catch up on thread later (had bit of a run through from Ellie last night so I know about you knickerless sluts, something I'd never often do! ). First have to go and check facebook wade through my emails.

I've missed you all

((((((((((((group)))))))))))))) in an ironic 'I dont actually do hugs but I know you all like them so thought I would' kinda way!

Back soon

Mwah
