Dh hasn't told his boss yet, as he discovered a break in yesterday morning - si it didn't seem like a good time, and then helpfully went out, and still wasn't back at 10 pm!

Right, must get my arse into gear and go to the shop or there will be no choc cheesecake to be had! Haven't even had a shower today yet. Dh let me sleep in until 9am - fab!!

Back to reality tomorrow with the school run. I haven't been doing it as I couldn't drive, so my parents have been helping me out. Off work for another fortnight as I was told to take a month off following surgery, then hopefully everything will start to get back to normal around here. Very very just to be feeling so much better!

C went to bed at 6.5 last night... unfortunately it meant he was up at 5.10 this morning....and it was my turn to get up with him.. Is 14 months too young to send downstairs to make his own breakfast and watch tv????

On the plus side, I had tonights dinner (lamb shepherds pie) made my 6.30, and have cheese scones cooling down as we speak. I am a domestic goddess!

Really fed up of the crap weather at the moment, its cold and rainy and miserable - it wouldnt be so bad if it was February or October but its JULY ffs!!!

Evening all

We're home, left at 11am
Rain on M3/M25 meant the usual traffic chaos and I had to stop a couple of times for a sleep. Of course, I'm blaming the narcolepsy for that and not the events of last night

Well, we went out at 10pm, leaving the men at home with the children. We went to the same bar that we went to last time I got trolleyed tipsy on cocktails and sambuca with Pisha and navy boys and did the same again (only this time it was marines, they don't like it if you call them navy boys!). I only had 3 cocktails and 2 shots of sambuca this time though, so was fairly sober by the time we went home. I then stayed up most of the night and went to bed when M woke up this morning .

Still, you've gotta enjoy yourself when you're young, which, by the way, Pisha isn't, according to a man that was chatting me up last night . He was shocked that I was as old as I am and guessed her at 32 when she's only 29

I'm going to house-sit for them in 2 weeks, guess where I'm going on the saturday night

Pretty good weekend here. Went and ordered a new dining room table and chairs yesterday My mum and dad gave us some cash when we moved so that's what we're spending it on. Found a lovely one 1/2 price in the sales Nothing else to report really - back to work tomorrow but just done application for another job so here's hoping
