StealthPolarBear · 05/07/2008 09:01

Morning all

runnyhabbit · 05/07/2008 09:47

Things still not so good here

Boys have been up since 6.30/7ish, which is normal for them. As I took the boys down for breakfast, I told him that he's not the only one thats tired (btw, his tiredness is self inflicted as he stayed up watching a film til gone midnight) but we can either work together, or he can stay in bed.

He got up 10mins ago

Right now, I don't even want to talk to him. Sounds so childish, but if he can't be bothered to make the effort, why should I?

mammyjo · 05/07/2008 11:27

Not at all childish runny, he is being bloody selfish. My dh has been fab lately, what with my op and everything, but I am sure it won't last in the longer term! Men just do not get it. Hope you feel happier soon Are you free to meet up any time soon? I can have coffee and cake!

SOL, so glad K is back to normal now Are you still coming to Wales in August?

Very of the meet up with the SE ladies. Bit far away for a day trip unfortunately!

Congrats to Auntie Mamiguay! So pleased for you, hope you get to meet the baby really soon

Congrats too, to sofa boy!

Oooggs, how are you feeling today. That sick feeling is awful, is there anything you have found that helps? I am a believer in homeopathic remedies, but don't know whether they are safe to try in pregnancy. Have used them for a couple of things in the past. Might be worth finding out about?

Feeling brighter today, have got the wound problem into perspective. It really isn't that huge a deal, and I feel so much better for having had the op, so a scar is a small price to pay I think.
Have a good day everyone xxx

Doobydoo · 05/07/2008 11:37

PillockOfTheCommunity · 05/07/2008 12:08

we'll have to arrange another SW meet-up, I'm down here a fair bit over the summer
will see what I can do about the SE meet-up too!

We're off out for lunch, Jamie has gone to cricket so just us and the kids
Then lots of fruitshoots and sweets soft play to get them hyper wear them all out before we leave them with him tonight

Bramshott · 05/07/2008 12:30

Dooby - was thinking about you last night - have you got married yet?!? You probably have and I've missed it!

SE meetup sounds good. Is somewhere like Petworth Park too far from anyone/everyone?

runnyhabbit · 05/07/2008 16:48

(rh is secretly wondering if 3hrs and 17mins is too far to travel for a day out...)

Eddas · 05/07/2008 17:27

Hi everyone

Sorry i haven't been on in ages, not sure why or what i've been doing

Hope everyone is well

I don't have anything to say about what i've been doing, not much but there's still no time

I have the 26nd free atm and would love to meet up. Depends where you go though, I just checked where Petworth Park is and it'll be a 2 hour trip, which is a bit far for me for a day. I'll let you all decide where you want to meet and then i'll see if I can come or not

Right, off for fish and chip shop chips mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, see you all later

Doobydoo · 05/07/2008 19:27

CaptainDippy · 05/07/2008 19:48

I wear pants too

I'm a right prude

Sexonlegs · 05/07/2008 19:58

Evening

Pisha/POTC, hope you are having fun!

Eddas, fabulous to see you

Dooby, a busy time for you then

MJ, definitely still coming to Wales. We drive down on the Saturday just before Bank Holiday Monday (can't think of the date).

Runny, oh dear Have you and dh patched things up yet??

Bramshott, Petworth Park is an hour and 15 from me, so sounds fine. Shall I see if there are some other places too?

Had a great day today. It was B's school fayre. Year R did 2 dances for the crowd, and it was absolutely lovely to see them all leaping about. I spent an hour on a stand which was a laugh, and the weather stayed sunny - Hurrah!

How's everyone else doing?

oooggs · 05/07/2008 20:05

come on eddas - I travelled just over 2.5 hours for the south west meet up

sol/mj - I feel terrible - so sick, I feel better when I have been sick but it puts me off eating again whatever I have eaten that mealtime

Also emotional, at the summer fair this afternoon they had a graduation with capes and mortar boards - I just cried - James looked so grown up, he has also been at the nursery since the day it opened (they will have my children for longer than they think )

runny - not childish in my book - hope things improve >>>>>

Bramshott · 05/07/2008 20:06

School fete here today too. N is still traumatised by her failure to win a large Rupert Bear on the tombola despite 3 goes!! She did win a vase though which I have convinved her is the best prize ever and we have filled it with flowers for her bedroom. Oh, and a crappy camera which I have yet to tell her has no film in, after she's spent the whole day rushing round the school field taking photos of her friends! Nice afternoon though - O did lots of staggering round the field, it didn't rain, and I was reminded what a nice school N goes to.

DH away on stag night tonight so I am supposed to be doing my June invoices before I break open the beer!

Bramshott · 05/07/2008 21:19

Well, the only Saturday night I am on here, and you are clearly all off getting a life!!!!

So, I shall flounce off to drink beer and watch the rather tacky but hopefully diverting Legend of Zorro on DVD! [flounce]

Dooby - get those witnesses and get down there!! We need a reason to get over-excited and mushy and it will be a while before Elkie or Oooggs have their babies!!

Sexonlegs · 05/07/2008 21:23

Bramshott, pmsl at you flouncing off! I am still here. Doing bits and bobs of little excitement.

K has finally started walking - well, across from one side of the sitting room to the other. It is so funny; she walks along clapping!

Right, going to head to bed soon. I am knackered - felt more tired when I got up this morning than I did when I had gone to bed iyswim!

Hope you are all enjoying your lives xx

elkiedee · 05/07/2008 22:12

Don't we have 3 babies due before us? Vio, Glitterkitty and one other? Still a while away though.

D is still wide awake and surprise surprise dp is cross again. How he thinks shouting at me and D is going to help settle a tired but excited little boy, I'm not sure.

StealthPolarBear · 06/07/2008 09:15

Morning
The other baby is hensden's, iirc she may have had it or be due any moment
Bramshott - lol at the camera with no film
SOL to K walking and clapping - very cute!

StealthPolarBear · 06/07/2008 09:17

Ah maybe not, she last posted in Feb, when it looks like it was quite early, so maybe due in Sept or Oct?

mammyjo · 06/07/2008 09:56

Morning all

Runny, hope things with your dh are better this morning xxxx

SOL, are you still up for meeting some time that week?

of meet up, but Petworth Park just a little too far for us! I can't cope with whinging children when I am trying to drive a long distance! Makes me turn a bit red (as opposed to green)

Bramshott, lol at you flouncing! This thread seems to either be really chatty or nothing lately.

Off now, mum and dad coming for roast dinner later. I am going to make a choc cheesecake for pudding - yum!!
