I was feeling fine for 10 mins until I read tomato sauce sandwiches - liath and I hope acupuncture works aswell

sol - dh is here (well sort of) he gets home at 8am has breakfast goes to bed, gets up about 2pm (does loads including tea) we put children to bed together and he leaves at 7pm

What am I thinking of doing????? Will see what he wants to do, would be handy for him to have school dinners on wed, thur & fri same as dts at nursery as makes tea easier but it all depends on his 'new friends'. He knows 3 out of 30 but everyone else knows at least half the class as there are two preschools in Saltash and the rest are from those. (James went to my work nursery)

James loves picnic food, and cooked so will play it by ear, I suppose I need something to put it in.

But come January I will be very busy, possibly too busy to make packed lunches - although that could be Daddys job .

On a backshift (fortnightly) dh will take him to school (otherwise he won't see him until the weekend!) and I will take him on a dayshift. I will always be picking up.

Where is everyone this evening!?

elkiedee · 09/07/2008 21:32

I'm here, but reading other threads. Another May 2007 person who's having a baby in January 2009 and has posted there under a different name has finally revealed who she is. I'd worked it out earlier through putting together the various clues she'd let slip about her age, location and dd's birthweight but it was gratifying to have got it right. And a relief to hear her scan had been fine after a scary few days.

StealthPolarBear · 09/07/2008 22:14

hi everyone

elkiedee · 09/07/2008 22:24

Exciting news - my cousin had her baby daughter on Friday. (She's on my dad's side of the family or I would have known much sooner, I don't think my dad even knew his niece was pregnant until I told him or reacted much when I told him! He's a bit strange like that).

leakyR · 09/07/2008 22:33

Evening

I haven't been on for ages. THIS is why. Take a look if you've any experience of ADs. i'd appreciate any advice.

I hope you're all well and will try and get back on tomorrow.

oooggs · 10/07/2008 08:53

morning

leaky good to see you - I have no help I'm sorry - but I can relate to feeling sick all day & night

elkie - congrats to your cousin

blimey it was quiet last night, I went to bed early (for a change) the Jack woke and screamed for two hours - when I finally got him settled I spent a bit of time trying to list him on ebay

mammyjo · 10/07/2008 09:37

Oooggs, what was the starting price? Any takers? Hope you are ok xxx

Leaky, I have posted on your other thread. I really hope you can get things sorted out soon and get your normal self back. I am really pleased that the depression is improving, what a shame that the drugs have given you something else to worry about. Take care xxx

Elkie, congrats to your cousin! I love new baby news

So quiet on here yesterday, hope everyone is doing ok

CaptainDippy · 10/07/2008 09:46

LOL oooggs I was very tempted to do the same with P this morning - she woke up about every 1/2 hr from 11am screaming and we can't work out why. We think it is probably teeth, poor love; but she's got no temp at all We had no Calpol in the house either She's dosed up now so hoping she'll have a decent nap this morning especially as I think I've hurt my muscles from coughing so much and I feel awful

Sorry for moan.

Congrats to your cousin Elkie

@ that thread Elkie!!

Bramshott · 10/07/2008 11:29

Oh arggh, N's sports day is today and I thought it would be cancelled because of the weather, but it's not. So think of me ladies - I am going to be spending the afternoon on a freezing field with a grumpy tired baby/toddler!

CaptainDippy · 10/07/2008 11:45

Take lots of hot chocolate and choclate supplies. Blankets, army tent, thermos, thermal underwear, all-in-one waterproofs, whistle, freeze dried food supplies .......

mammyjo · 10/07/2008 11:56

I have got ds's sports day tomorrow. It is dry here just now, hoping that it will stay like it for tomorrow! Although the ground will probably be like a bog from all the rain we had yesterday, so muddy children all round!

CaptainDippy · 10/07/2008 12:04

Don't kill me, but it is actually quite sunny here .....

Today has been soooooooooooooooooo long

i'm bored. I could go out but I can't be bothered. Am secretly hoping for rain as dd wants to go to the park

I need to find a new mn name, any suggestions?

mammyjo · 10/07/2008 14:11

I am rubbish at MN names, hence my very unimaginative one! No help at all I am afraid

Eddas · 10/07/2008 14:16

i'm rubbish at them too mj, my name is dh's nickname for me so totally without inagination

I did think of one but it was a bit long! Also, some i've thought p are already in use

PillockOfTheCommunity · 10/07/2008 15:31

Afternoon all
I'm working from home this afternoon while J is asleep and M is outside in the sunshine with his waterproof trousers on

I'm starting to get nervy about the Funeral now, I don't know why really, I guess it'll make it all real and final as I've not been to the house since.

And the weather forecast is dire for the weekend, I'm going to the Seaside and it's going to rain the entire time

PillockOfTheCommunity · 10/07/2008 15:36

OMG Dooby - that is starting young

Just read that Dippy said the sun is shining
