Know what you mean CD. The weather is just awful.

CaptainDippy · 09/07/2008 10:30

I know Eddas .... can't wait to see my ickle girlie all dressed up in her uniform .... bless. Is your DD excited about school? K is!! Guess they were summer stuff when they start back in Sept!!!?

CaptainDippy · 09/07/2008 10:31

Thank you for my hugs btw

Bramshott · 09/07/2008 10:37

((hugs)) Dippy. Get back to the doctors and demand some answers!!

Mammyjo/Eddas - I was the spotty, unfashionable and unattractive one at school, so I was particularly pleased .

How exciting for all these little ones going off to big school. It is lovely really when they are there and learning stuff, but they do suddenly seem very grown up!
Eddas - I would ring the school and ask about uniform, although I'd think you'll also be able to get it in the shops at Christmas time - it seems to come out before the start of every term.
CD - yes, I'd think they'd be wearing summer dresses in September. N did until at least the end of September I think. The little ones at her school seem very keen on their summer dresses and want to wear them as long as possible!

CaptainDippy · 09/07/2008 10:48

That's what I thought (re: summer dresses) Bramshott Just need to go out and actually buy some now

I know, I know .... will try and get to doc tomorrow.....

Eddas · 09/07/2008 11:01

make sure you do try cd

dd isn't too excited about atm as she goes in January. She is more concerned that her best freind is off to school in sept she'll really miss her at pre-school. But at least she'll be there in January. It's lovely because out of the class of 30 that dd will be in 16 of them(inluding dd) go to pre-school together so she'll know half the class when she gets there. and when she does go it'll mean no more nursery for her which'll be good for me I hate fridays, such a guilt trip every morning and thurs nights are always tough as she plays the guilt card to get out of going to bed

Doobydoo · 09/07/2008 11:01

Another Kent girl here, and Pesha is Kent at heart too

oooggs · 09/07/2008 12:17

its a great place, right eddas?

CaptainDippy · 09/07/2008 12:20

When I went to get P, she had unpopped her duvet cover and was hiding inside it ... she popped her little head out and grinned at me and sad "boo!"

Awwwwwwwwww ......

She is growing up .... sob ... she even lifts her legs up one at a time when I take off her PJ trousers in the morning. Bless.

Sorry - just had to share!!

CaptainDippy · 09/07/2008 12:21

I'm near Kent right now Does that count!!?

People from Kent are dead posh

CaptainDippy · 09/07/2008 12:22

Well done on the knickers POTC ... which washing pile were they hiding in!!!?

PillockOfTheCommunity · 09/07/2008 12:24

cheeky mare!

they were in the drawer where they belong actually, the only item of clothing that makes it back there, everything else gets worn too often to get put away!

Bramshott · 09/07/2008 12:30

N has school dinners - she is occasionally mutionous, but I am far to -lazy- busy to be making packed lunch A lot of them do have packed lunch at her school, and I think a lot of it is over-preciousness on the part of the mums - they all say "well she only like x, y & z" or, "it's the only way I know how much he's eating" etc. (but then I am a callous parent!)

oooggs · 09/07/2008 12:32

bramshott - not precious here!!!!! James eats everything (except mushrooms) we may mix & match - depends on what the rest of the class are doing too I suppose, he won't want to be the only one of 30 doing something
