cheesey salmon pasta made as requested

lol at the baby equipment holly my dh is completely obsessed with the look rather than the function

justRia · 30/06/2008 15:23

Grr. Could fall out with DH today. He emptied the cupboard under the stairs looking for a form which was where it should have been-ish, and has decided said cupboard needs cleaning out (I knew that) and has left the stuff in the hallway, AND he is going out in an hour. So who will be finishing that jobI wonder?

best go and get on with it,

Done it. Not particularly well though, but everything is back in and it's tidier than it was. still a couple of baskets worth of random crap to sort but that's for a rainy day.

Hope DM invites us for tea...

I have to go for another blood test tomorrow. "Something happened" at the lab

It's really hot here.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 30/06/2008 18:06

Evening!

That Nuna looks cool. Our highchair is a monstrosity, but we were given it so can't complain really and it does the job.

DH & DD just arriving hom - can see the car reversing into the drive as I type, so better go...

LOL MHC I'll have the social here to DS climbed 1/3 of the way up the slide today (not the steps bit & not a toddler slide either) he sees his sister doing it and thinks i'll have a go at that...

Just conditioned and combed DD hair for the 4th time today this first year in reception has been a bit of an eye opener I had no idea that nits were so rife these days.. and we live in a 'nice' area too! I don't think some people check or do anything if they find them! and you don't have the nit nurse anymore.

lackaDAISYcal · 30/06/2008 18:49

good Evening Campers

back from our lovely weekend chez Pontins (I know but it was a freebie.....sort of)

can't access my emails so don't know if I've been offered twin buggies or not.....argh bloody virgin; they are "working to resolve the fault as soon as possible"

I heart Norfolk! Accommodation was well.....basic, but the beaches and countryside are bloody fab. The weather was stionkingly gorgeous; DD fell in love with the seaside, DS with the amusement arcades , and me with the Norfolk Broads. We are going to go there for a week in Feb for my 40th birthday.

Right, off to catch up.....what's been happening?

lackaDAISYcal · 30/06/2008 19:13

ooooh, Staithes is on The One Show at the mo.....we're off there in four weeks; can't wait

One day i'll live by the sea again....one day

FrazzledFairyFay · 30/06/2008 19:21

Happy Birthday to Andiem's DS

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 30/06/2008 19:23

Hey daisy, glad you had a lovely time, it sounds fab! Glad dd and ds enjoyed themselves too. I was just scanning the M&B forum and one of the people on there is doing reusables too and she is getting Bambino Mio, Lollipop, Kushies, Smart Nappy and BUMGENIUS!! Hope you get BG too, you'll probably get at least a weeks worth to test. I'm really looking forward to getting the highchairs. I heart testing!

My driving test is booked for 8 weeks time! I won't say the exact date as I'm not telling anyone except dp, not even my parents!

Anyone watch Hollyoaks ?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 30/06/2008 20:14

Where did you go in Norfolk again Daisy? I heart Norfolk too, because that's where I'm from. If you go to the broads in Feb and fancy having visitors I could try to arrange a visit home to parents with a day out for a meet?

Good luck with the driving test Holly!

And Happy Birthday to Andiem's LO and any others that have passed me by

Seansgirlthesequel · 30/06/2008 20:31

aaaaaarrrggggghhhhhh! am so stressed!! DH & I are 'sorting out' our finances trying to get debt free...... i feel like under interrogation from the bloody gestapo.... what have is spent that on, where has that gone, why do we spend so much on that, we owe HOW much to them?? ..... you get the drift am not the best with money TBH

Hi all anway hope everyone is having better nights than me.

justRia · 30/06/2008 20:37

I heart Norfolk too, we used to have a boating holiday every year when I was little, til we started camping. glad you had a good time.

Happy b'day baby andiem.

you have me worried mhc

hey jbm, good to have you back, hope you are ok and had good hols.

I only told my parents about my driving test. DH found out when I went to collect hum from work.

Definately no twin buggies

but on the nappy front.....cottontail one size, tots flexitots , lollipop micro, lollipop softee, Close Baby Pop-In, and Bambinex Teddy. The only one of those I've tried is the bambinex one. I hope they send wraps as well as I don't have any wraps that fit any more! I just assumed I would get one of each nappy type...didn't realise there would be a weeks worth! Pity about the BGs, but lots to go on there!

skincare I've got Beaming baby organic wipes, Avent magic cream and talc, Halos'n'Horns hair and body wash, Johnsons bedtime range (sample of all products I think) and bepanthen nappy cream (always useful around here!!)

Jammy we were in Hemsby, but in Feb we going to a Hoseason's resort somewhere..possibly Horning, so quite close to Norwich. It would be lovely to meet up.

DKMA...hope the box passed today

have all the LOs stopped being poorly, unsettled, awake all night etc?

can't remember what else, other than I thought Ria had banished DH to the garage for forgetting lemons as well. unfortunately that would be seen as a positive advantage here!

had a lovely chilled weekend, with DCs behaving themselves and me not blowing my top once, in spite of forgetting to take my happy pills with me! Pontins was an experience....we have renamed the children Shaniece and Ronson so that we fitted in more ..new baby will be D'Wayne . It wasn't that bad, but I can see why they feel the need to give holidays away...if I had paid good money for that I would've been a little bit disappointed.

justRia · 30/06/2008 20:39

does not sound like fun SG. I suppose that's a slight plus of not having any money, there are no finances we can sort out

OP posts:
lackaDAISYcal · 30/06/2008 20:41

holly, I probably didn't get BGs as I told her that I use them already...damn me and my big mouth

lackaDAISYcal · 30/06/2008 20:43

ouch on the finances SG. We are doing a budget this weekend that I will have to stick to if we are to make DHs house money last until I get back to work/get business up and running. i'll be having to justify my spending as well...but we went to Lidl on sunday as it was the only supermarket we could fine and we were impressed with the range and the price. I didn't realise they did branded products as well. Will be checking out our nearest one in a bid to economise!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 30/06/2008 20:44

Sorry about finances and finance calculations SG.

I'll try to meet you in Feb then Daisy!

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 30/06/2008 20:48

I've got some finance calculations to sort too - got a load of back pay and I think they've got it wrong (surprise surprise!) I think I might have been seriously underpaid

foxythesnowfox · 30/06/2008 20:52

The bloody wheel has fallen off my double buggy Can I have one to test pleeeeeeaaaase? Have got the old one out of the shed and am attempting to fix it.

On the up, I won £150 of bebeco vouchers in the Sleep survey on here

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 30/06/2008 20:53

But our payroll is so rubbish I dread broaching the subject with them. If there wasn't so much (much needed) cash at stake I'd happily let it go but ...

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 30/06/2008 20:54

Arse about the buggy Foxy

lackaDAISYcal · 30/06/2008 20:55

ooooh, good for you foxy . I enter everything on here and never bloody well win anything
