Bless your dd daisy! I can't believe she has had a proper hair cut already, my dd hasn't even been to the hairdresser's yet, my mum just trims it every now and then for me! As for ds, he hasn't got two hairs to rub together!

It's actually her second cut holly. I did it myself at Christmas but made a bit of a mess so thought I'd better get it done right this time. she was sooo good as well and was laughing when he was blowing the hair off her face. DS has got a mullet.....his choice , he wanted it shortish on top but didn't want to lose his curls at the back....it doesn't look too bad I suppose.

Seems to be Daisy. She's still got a sore throat and seems to have teething troubles still, bless her, but she's BF morning and night again. This week being a full week at nursery might actually help me cut down to just morning & night feeds which is what i wanted to do as she's having cows milk in the day. And last nigth she slept through and even slept very late for her, until 7am. I dropped her at nursery this morning which was rare and it was lovely to see her getting so excited as we went in the door - she was obviously really happy to be there despite not feeling at her best.

ellen had her first proper cut last week.. i took about 2 inches off it, and its a short bob like mine now lol

Daisy, wow I can't believe your DD has had two haircuts already! DD has quite a good head of hair but for a while she had a really bad bald patch at the back. It has grown back now, but it is shorter than the rest of the hair, so it looks like she has a really dodgy Posh Spice bob! Hope your finger is ok.

that's what I noticed about DD natty.....she suddenly looks like a toddler, not a baby.

An old bloke on a bike stopped to talk to us at the bus stop tonight and kept calling the jamlet a boy . I admit I didn't correct him, largely because I wanted him to go away, but FFS she was wearing a white skirt and a top with pink flowers all over it! But I know people just see her short hair and think "boy"

OK, bed for me. I've got to do an early nursery run tomorrow so that I'm back for 8.10 to get the bus to work.

and don't worry about old blokes..there's a chp I pass twice a week and have done since DD was born, who peers in at her, says "baby?" and then "girl?" every farking time. Next time I'm going to say "no, meercat"

Getting an early night tonight - Dh is away (since yesterday and not back till late tomorrow) and have had to be in Liverpool early every morning. Doing the whole getting ready for work and gettin lo ready for nusery and being out of the house on way to nursery on my own before 8 is a killer!!!
Managed to get in the gym for an hour early this afternoon though before picking lo up - but now have very sore legs after running like forest gump on the treadmill for 40 mins!

Morning

DD is a bit brighter this morning....but still feels a bit worm so have started her on the ABs....the oral thrush is clearing up as well....but her eating is still a bit all over the place....funny though, she can still manage a jaffa cake

Had a completely shit day yesterday as all she wanted was cuddles and sleep so I spent half the day pinned to the sofa watching cbeebies and the other half being trailed by a crying snotty nosed child...I am not a nurse by nature and was very glad when DH came home.

She had me up at 4.45am playing in her cot and giggled and shouted at me when I went in and stood up with her arms out...eeerrrrmm, I don't think so....she was very good though, boredom must have sent her back to sleep till I woke her up at 7.30am....and now she's back up there for a nap...alright for some!

just back from the docs...i have to have an ECG because of the silly palpitations I've been having. Also got to have ore bloods done and a thyroid function test.
Feel like shit this monrning; tired, out of breath, listless and very very weepy .

and the house is a bombsite and i need to tidy and pack for going away this weekend (not to mention washing it all first)...aaaaarrrrgh. We need to be off by 10 at the latest in the morning..it is sooo not going to happen.

holly, if there is an email tomorrow or Monday from jessica about the twin buggies and I'm on the list, will you text and let me know? . I'm not back till late on Monday.

Glad DD is feeling better this morning Norty. Mine does that 4:30 want to play thing sometimes, and she is never happy when we just lie her back down in bed.

Daisy, I hope they can do something to make you feel better - it sounds like you are having a miserable time. I hope your trip gives you a bit of tme to relax - could you maybe escape for an hour or so and treat yourself to a massage/pedicure/coffee and magazine?
