Dh not as twuntish, I have still done more housework than him and a lunchtime at school.
crappy day though, he still hasn't been paid from his current temping job and I have a horrible feeling the company is going under and he'll NEVER get it

BLOODY HELL, DS1 just brought letter home from school, they're off on a visit next week - £10 voluntary contribution, I had to send in £7 for DS2s trip on Monday, fundraising event at the weekend and summer gala in a couple of weeks. Obviously school haven't heard of the rising cost of living...

DH being twunty again - some post gone missing. It's his job to file it away, and sighing and groaning won't make it appear by magic, he should be more bloody efficient.

I suppose I should do some more housework.

fury was around on FB earlier...she was in my on-lie friends list.

DD is fine; I think I just squeezed her too tight when I picked her up

Hospital was fine......i go back in a month; they need to monitor the levels of the ADs in my blood apparently as the closer you get to term the effect can wear off and you might need to increase the dose.

I've just taken both DCs for a haircut. DD can see again, and there was a baby under all that hair

lackaDAISYcal · 25/06/2008 16:43

sorry Ria, that is a bit steep for a voluntary contribution....but as the title says, it's voluntary.

justRia · 25/06/2008 17:49

apparently they send you a letter asking for iif you don't send it in

Am . Sky gave us sky world for free as compensation for a cock-up in our account that meant they had our money and we had no services. They are now charging us for sky world. So we will no doubt be going off-line soon as DH is pissed off (as am I) and is changing our ISP. and everything takes forever in our house.

Anyone like to chuck anymore shit my way? I'm past caring

lackaDAISYcal · 25/06/2008 17:58

At least you have your sister's visit to look forward to Ria

Sky are shit aren;t they. Both my sisters left Sky because of that sort of poor service. Here's hoping you aren't gone for too long!

I just realised that I didn't ask for a lock of DD's hair from the hairdresser. Am I a shit mummy?

DSs latest craze to come home from school is these little critters called gogos crazybones. I'm sick hearing about them and they are just the right size to get wedged in DDs gullet so he is forever taking them from her and she just screams.....but they cost a quid for a packet of three so a good end of week behaviour bribe.

andiem · 25/06/2008 18:08

evening all

daisy gogos have been banned at your school due to some overzealous trading by year 6 kids ie nicking them off of the younger ones

ria sorry things are crap at the moment we don't have sky we have virgin but tbh I'm not sure they are much better

andiem · 25/06/2008 18:09

soory our school

lackaDAISYcal · 25/06/2008 18:20

I was going to say Wow Andie......you are clever!.....before calling the police on you, you mad stalker

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before there is some incident that means they are banned at ours as well.....DS tries every day to get me to allow him to take them into school, but they have a toys only on a Friday rule. It seems to work quite well.

Bumperlicious · 25/06/2008 19:22

Hi all,

Haven't heard anything from M&B

Norty hope DD is ok.

I know I keep asking, you are either ignoring me or I keep missing the answer, when is our meet up in August?

Ria - don't leave us!

Fury, hope you are ok if you are lurking

justRia · 25/06/2008 19:37

I'm still here.

Just went to collect DS from tennis and popped to Morrisons for junk food.

DH wants to go to virgin. I would rather go to tiscali and sod the TV, DHs name seems to send billing computers potty as it happens all the time (and so I get double stress because my mum always has a fit and thinks we haven't paid our bill etc, but how many people can afford to pay bills twice?)

Anyway, enough misery for now, DH should have two of the amounts owing paid into his account tomorrow (fecking big bottle of wine tomorrow night) and if the agency from January pay him they have some work on locally (he usuallytravels to York+ to work for them) so things might go our way

I am looking forward to dsis being here but my clothes look awful cos I seem to be inflating (why do they say "my weight ballooned"? Balloons are weightless...), my house is a mess and I haven't dyed my hair yet, so it will have that "just dyed" look about it

justRia · 25/06/2008 19:38

I have to go and move the climbing frame so DH can cut the grass...

back later (while I still can)

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 25/06/2008 19:52

Hi everyone

Norty, sorry that you and DD not been feeling so good. Hope all is again soon.

Bumper, I don't know that a date has been decided for August. BUT WE NEED TO DECIDE!!

Hectic day here - we all left house at 7.20, drove over to nursery. Dropped jamlet off there, DH at work. I drove back to my work getting in at 8.30. On course all day until 4.45, drove back to nursery, picked up jamlet, DH came out of work and drove us to the town centre there so we could get the bus home and he's got the car to come home whenever he's finished at work (might be 10pm, might be midnight, who knows?). Phew! Anyway, jamlet is in bed, I've had tea, and now I have the evening to myself

lackaDAISYcal · 25/06/2008 19:53

bumper, we are ignoring you in the hope that you go away

sorry lovely, it just gets lost in the mists......i think we had decided the week fo the 18 August, but probably not till the Thursday which is erm,......21st? Is that right? If it's OK with andie, I'll come down on the Wednesday

Off to redeenm holly's baragin codes. Where do you find all this stuff holly? whenever I look on hotdeals (don't like how they have changed that site now) or money saving expert the deals are always for hedge trimmers or some such shoite!

my typing might be a bit ropey tonight as i have mahoosive dressing on my left index finger. I cut it just below the nail lst night and had a wee plaster on it as there was a flap of skin hanging off. tonight after I took DD out of the bath, I cought it in the towel and the flap of skin ripped right off all the sawy across my finger.....it bled for over half and hour and i've ruined one of dhs' hankies...and have you ever tried to dress a poorly finger with only one hand and a samll curious child trying to grab at everything....just when i got the bleeding stopped she'd grab something; I'd grab it off her and the bvlood wouls start flowing again.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 25/06/2008 19:58

Ouch!!!!! for your finger Daisy.

Bumperlicious · 25/06/2008 20:16

Ouch daisy!

lackaDAISYcal · 25/06/2008 20:18

Thaks for the tip Holly, I've ordered some nail varnish

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 25/06/2008 20:21

FrazzledFairyFay · 25/06/2008 20:22

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 25/06/2008 20:22
