twelveyeargap · 25/06/2008 22:40

Maybe it's a girl MKG!

MKG · 25/06/2008 22:56

OK- we don't even know if I'm pregnant or not, don't getmyhopesup tease me.

elkiedee · 25/06/2008 23:57

I wondered if I was pg this time really early, last time not until 6 weeks. This time I tested at 5 weeks and that must have been too early, we went to France and I was still feeling indefinably weird, tested again when we got home. As TYG said, the positive tests are more conclusive. That doesn't mean a negative test makes you an idiot! The tests I used clearly weren't idiotproof though - I fluffed a test with ds and then again this time round, I was so nervous that I couldn't follow the instructions properly.

MKG, my suggestion is that you get several tests - a couple of double packs if you can. Good luck!

largeginandtonic · 26/06/2008 08:10

at staff chat I need a chicken boy, gardener, ironing lady, cleaner and child walker. Someone to cook tea wouldnt go a miss either if i'm honest.

Pink i may appear on your doorstep We had those Lindam rails for the twins, still going strong, very good.

SOH lollol at the Gingerbread thread. Promise to send you some bespoke ones as soon as i feel human again. How is J getting on at truncheons r us?

TYG hoorah for a happy girl at the childminders! Sit on your arse while she is there, no rushing round >

The boy is back to mild whinging today Still driving me crackers.

I picked up the student last night, she speaks no English. Lovely though, it could be a challenging few weeks.

MrsJB have a fabulous time away!!! You lucky thing, am sooo of you. Keep of the ciggies, you are doing so well!

MKG what day next week will you be testing? DH is off to Norfolk next week for 6 weeks, what can i tell him to bring back that is bargainous?

AprilMeadow · 26/06/2008 08:31

SOH you are welcome to come visit at anytime. Perhaps when LG&T is just with B you could both come. I cant offer a beach to walk along but we do have some sort of nature reserve on the Heath.

Ella has her MMR at 1.45

Would like a cleaner and will probably get one just think that a week into being off is a bit early to give in

JAM - how early were yuo walking that dog? By my calculations it was about 5am!

Lupins71 · 26/06/2008 08:53

AM hope Ella is ok - Im sure you will be worse than her

at staff talk, would love to be able to have someone come and clean and tidy and babysit and dogwalk and cook dinner.

MKG hope you get a nice big positive, the 1st response are doing one you can test loads earilier than wit normal tests

Well dp came hope, was shocked and concerned at how tired I am but did say I looked healthy but he kept asking if everything was ok, I kept saying all was fine just a handful looking after the kids all alone for 10 days and was just overtired, anyway after 10 days he was obvviously expecting to get a bit closser in the bedroom, he said that was odd are you sure your ok you were a bit hesitant, he was thinking at this point that I had been having an affair as he said do you have something to tell me - so I said well no but I will show you something - to this he gasped oh no really but we were only not careful once! this was followed by a big cuddle and he said funny that I was thinking about number three the other day . So all is fine on the home front, feel happier now he knows altho I know now he will do nothing but worry all the time.

Whats everyone up to today, I have dp's shrink appt they need me to go for some reason, then I am going to make the most of having him here and go for a sleep at some point

MJB if you are going to Longleat you are not that far from me - well quite away but in general direction - you are more than welcome if you need a bed and some breakfast we have some lovely local eggs (well Im told they are lovely, cant stand the things)

JamInMyWellies · 26/06/2008 08:54

Not walking him, the bloody thing had an upset tummy and at 4am DP and I were cleaning up a revolting mess with lots of boaking on my part. >

Oh LUPINS! I am so pleased and relieved for you. That is LOVELY. Really lovely. Obviously the help your DH sought out recently really did him some good. I'm thrilled for you. Hurrah!

I know there are still other worries, but now it's a problem shared, and it's shared with the most important person it could be shared with. That's such good news.

JamInMyWellies · 26/06/2008 09:31

LUPS so glad it was a positive response.

Aam am sure Ella with be ok just get the nurofen ready.

elkiedee · 26/06/2008 09:44

Lupins, glad to hear your update and I hope you get the chance for a lovely rest today.

largeginandtonic · 26/06/2008 09:59

Oh GOD Jam, i remember those early mrning wake up calls with a hound. I am not having a dog until dh is home full time, he would love one. Huge sympathy for you.

Lups that is fantastic news!!!! I am so glad you told him, hopefully as he has someone to talk to this time it will not get out of hand and all will much calmer. Send him out ofr lemony treats

AM E will be fine, dose her up and keep her dosed so she sleeps well. Poor little mite. B's is in a month i think. They leave a gap between the Men C and MMR.

I am thinking of phasing myself in as a Spanish student for a month, have just read her programme of events Ci?

Think i may be rumbled instantly, not least because i am about 15 years too old...

AprilMeadow · 26/06/2008 10:24

Lups that is fantastic news. Am so pleased for you

I'm sure she will be fine, she was for all the other jabs.

Just doing battle with her room at the moment and then putting away ten ton of washing!

Madamejaffa · 26/06/2008 10:37

It is Longleat, hope the weather is going to be ok this weekend, anyone know?

Lups, I'm so pleased for you both, congratulations now and all crossed for not too much of a rocky ride. Thanks for the offer: how does Sunday morning sound? 8am, 8 of us still pissed hungover for breakfast. What was that? Oh last minute arrangements with your Mum, never mind another time.

AM, I'm sure Ella will be fine, J had hers last week, she didn't even cry (no sense, no feeling, lol) and had no ill effects after, not a sausage.

Lupins71 · 26/06/2008 11:11

JAM ewwwww at your dog, as I said the oter dau mine had left 2 parcels, I will not get anoter dog once stan has gone to doggy heaven whuch if he carries on will be sooner than nature intended, hope poocjes tummy settles - if you can get to a pet shop they usually do black charcoal biscuits like the ones you get in winalot they work fab for upset dog tummys, mine cost me £200 in the 1st weel of having him because of a stomach infection that the breeder did not pick up on, black bikkies are a bleesing in disguise - and tey dont look like stringy grass whan they come out the other end

LGT hows it going the seniorita (sp), have you put her to work yet?

MJB I cant do Sunday - and not because I wouldnt love to have all 8 of you - its the day dp goes back up to Reading so I am making the most of him, are you just down for the weekend, I am about next week any day really

It does feel like a big weight off of my shoulders, he seems more excited/ pleased/ happy than I am, as you say long hard road ahead but I've done it before I can do it again! Now all I need is a due date and it will (well maybe) seem real.

Madamejaffa · 26/06/2008 11:37

We are Lups, just for the weekend. You wouldn't want all 8 of us, I assure you. I don't have a car either this week so am begging lifts being chauffered everywhere. Another time hey?

Harrison passed into CP!! OMG, his little face, it was like a 10 ton weight lifted off his shoulder when he got his results. It's a lot of pressure on a 5 yr old to pass into the next year but I do think it's a good system as they get older.

Have to leave about 2pm, I am like a child itching to go to the fair.... lol

Lupins71 · 26/06/2008 12:02

MJB well done on Harrison passing his test, another time - hopefull when you are visiting AM one time I will be staying in Reading and we can meet then

TYG I need to wrack your brains can you take a look at this this on ebay, I was looking at doubles anyway as I have to cart willow quite long distances and shhe has been sitting on the footplate on my old quinny however I saw this while doing my searching, but can you tell me if it will fit through most shop doors ebay number is 120276583928, Im sure you had something similar but maybe differant make?

Themasterandmargaritas · 26/06/2008 12:20

Bravo Harrison! Smart wee boy, obviously takes after his mother father.

Lups, I am SO pleased that you had such a good reaction from dh. Not so easy to hide it after all eh?

Ooops Jam , why couldn't dp clean it up himself? You are pregnant after all.

We've got chooks, 4 new lovely ones, looking quite similar to the last lot, but a little on the scrawny side. Will be feeding them up pronto.

SKYTVADDICT · 26/06/2008 12:22

Congratulations Harrison and hope you have a lovely weekend Mrs JB.

Very pleased for you Lups that DP is pleased too.

Fingers crossed for next week MKG. I tested too early this time round and it was negative but a few days later I tested again because I didn't feel "right" and it was positive. Hold out if you can.

Only the rest of today and tomorrow to go at work - extremely tired today. Still all got colds and C now had his 3rd night bottle in a row. Can see me and DP falling out at the weekend. DDs not there and I am all for leaving him to moan and cry (as long as his cold is drying up of course).

Going to Kiddicare on Saturday to look at doubles. Still hankering for a douple nipper but who knows what we may come away with!

largeginandtonic · 26/06/2008 12:24

Hoorah for new chooks!

Will look at ebay item too Lups, tis research ya know

Themasterandmargaritas · 26/06/2008 12:26
largeginandtonic · 26/06/2008 12:29

Lups that was the one i had, mine was older and no toddler seat. Hugely heavy. Very good if yu are only walking with it. Not sure you could manouvere after a section though, no way you could fold and lift anywhere.
Excelent quality though.

Lupins71 · 26/06/2008 12:29

SKY I have just been sent an email from someone selling a double nipper they want £140 for it its red they are selling for a friend, let ne know if you want the details

LTG ta lov! look foward to receiving your report

AprilMeadow · 26/06/2008 12:31

just dug out E's form re jabs and seen that she is getting a triple whammy! 1st MMR, booster Haemophilus B, Men C and booster pneumococcus

largeginandtonic · 26/06/2008 12:33

Blardy hell AM! Dont let them! B has a month in between his Men C and MMR.

MKG · 26/06/2008 12:33

Good Morning!

Lupins--I'm so happy he took it well.

LG&T- When I studied abroad the families we stayed with had to take us to certain places. Do you have to do that? God I loved studying abroad. Tell you what, you can come stay with me and I'll take you around to see some things. Unfortunately, nothing where I live is too exciting.
