StealthPolarBear · 17/06/2008 21:44

elkiedee · 17/06/2008 22:16

Hi PhD, thanks for the tip, though I'm sure all the bargains will be gone by the time I get there. It's not even as though the nearest branch were far away, now I know where it is.

But I've been advised to wait until D actually walks, which might or might not be next week at the moment, think he's teasing us and concealing the fact that he's got a pretty good idea how.

Night to those going/gone to bed - probably should myself soon.

PillockOfTheCommunity · 17/06/2008 22:19

I got Joe some new shoes today, the pre-walker ones because even though he's walking they are lighter than proper shoes. I don't like Clarks styles in pre-walkers at the moment, Joe kicked them off without undoing them

he now has these, but in boy colours!

Pisha · 17/06/2008 23:09

quic k post so i can find you all tomorrow!

Night x

NorthernLurker · 18/06/2008 07:58

Feeling a bit washed out this morning - up in the night with an upset tummy - the result I think of two much garlic for supper - garlic and herb pasta, pasta sauce with garlic and garlic bread Never again! I've dithered about going to work but i think I'll be ok - I've got to go out anyway to take the girls to their destinations so I'll see how I go.
I forgot to say I'm now learning to drive! This is a big step for me as I've never been keen before but I'm now really excited about it - second lesson today - just hope I feel totally ok by tonight.
B is very happy and smiley again - SOL how is K? This is totally pathetic but it's raining here today and I'm quite excited because it will be her first chance to wear her new bushbaby waterproofs - do I need to get a grip or what?

Doobydoo · 18/06/2008 08:09

CaptainDippy · 18/06/2008 09:54

Poor Roger indeed Dooby - and poor you with DH away. xx

I am currently ignoring the phone

It's funny - I said I was never going to have 3 children, I always wanted 4; but now i have 3, I am inclined to change my mind - it is bloody hard work and I am worried if I have another I'll have a nervous breakdown - seriously!! So there you go .....

mammyjo · 18/06/2008 10:06

Hats off to all of you with 3 children (never mind 4!), I struggle day to day with 2!

Pouring down here today, very miserable weather. My dad phoned this morning to offer to take ds to school. I took him up on it too, much easier than having to take him myself and grapple with F and the pushchair in the pouring rain!

SOL, hope your night wasn't too bad

Pisha, I know it must frustrate the life out of you, but your posts make me !

Dooby, hope your week will be ok with dh away. I hate it when they are away, so much harder on your own. Hope Roger is ok

oooggs · 18/06/2008 10:08

We were having two children but........... the twins put pay to that and now there is a spare seat at the dining room table which needs filling (no space in car though )

mammyjo · 18/06/2008 10:08

Oh, and I regularly ignore the phone! I have caller display so I know who is calling me. It's fab! Not that I need it so much now anyway as we have heard no more from MIL since her telling dh she didn't want anything more to do with him. Odd woman.

CaptainDippy · 18/06/2008 10:32

Nice of your dad MJ Pants to rain though It's overcast here, planning on going to park later

LOL @ your spare chair oooggs what car are you thinking of?

Doobydoo · 18/06/2008 10:44

I ignore the phone too
Thanks for your well wishes for Roger
He was trying to be brave but hates the vets.
When our jack russell was done they painted his little balls with silver stuff to help it heal,he was quite sad for a while.
Have to go and get him at 4.
Am knackered haven't recovered from dp being away last week at least it's shorter this time.
I would like more children but think i am too old now!

CaptainDippy · 18/06/2008 10:48

Poor little Roger - LOL @ "silver balls" though
