Bye everyone, off to wedding # 1 of the summer
See you SUnday or Monday xx

CaptainDippy · 20/06/2008 18:44

Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak Yak

Welcome Lexilex .... tell us more about yourself.

Enjoy the Wedding SPB.

Where is everyone!!?

cazboldy · 20/06/2008 18:52

hello Lexi

Enjoy yourself SPB

SOL - no, I was a good girl (well fairly)

Smear was horrible....she scratched me and made me bleed, then said it would probably spoil the sample so I will probably be recalled!

She said it was difficult to "locate my cervix" Surely can't be too hard to find after 5 dc

anyway how is everyone else?

POTC - sounds like a horrible situation to be in.........

NorthernLurker · 20/06/2008 18:54

ugh to that smear!

I'm off getting cross on a pregnancy thread - not my own I hasten to add.

cazboldy · 20/06/2008 18:58

why what's up NL? You, cross...surely not

NorthernLurker · 20/06/2008 19:01

maybe more stern than cross. It's the 'I'm cheesed off because my sonographer didn't behave like mine was the only baby she's ever scanned and didn't tell me definately what sex the baby is' chestnut. It winds me up!

cazboldy · 20/06/2008 19:04

oh I found it.....

I agree with you

I only found out the sex with Charlie, as Caitlin was desparate for a baby sister...... it was good in a way as it gave her time to get her head around having another boy......She burst into tears It would have been awful if she had cried when he was born instead!

but my first and foremost thought would always be "thank goodness everything is ok"

Dh wanted to know with Molly but I didn't, and she helpfully had the cord between her legs

Did you find out with any of yours?

NorthernLurker · 20/06/2008 19:07

Only asked with B and she was in an impossible position so they couldn't even guess. As soon as they said there was no way to know I though that was fine and just got on with wondering

back later - dd1 needs the pc now

Sexonlegs · 20/06/2008 19:39

Hello

Lexilex, I was nosy and looked at your profile! I am in Eastleigh too!!!! In Boyatt Wood to be precise How exciting!!

Evening NL and Caz.

Caz, sorry the smear test was so awful. So undignified isn't it At least you can get down and dirty tonight!!!

All ok here. K seems brighter and B, considering how rough she was is on good form. Just wondering what sort of night we will have tonight. Dh just buggered of cycling so it'll be me dealing with it.

AngeG · 20/06/2008 19:51

Hello [smile

Welcome Lexilex, I was also nosey and looked at your profile. I'm Locks Heath, but often have lunch at the Toby Cavery in Bishopstoke.

Sorry about the smear Caz and arse to possible contamination of sample.

Hope your night isn't too bad SOL.

Hi Dippy

Hi NL

You've probably gone now, but hope the wedding goes ok SPB.

Hi to anyone I've missed.

Just had Chinese for Tea. Yum It's raining here atm, hope weather better tomorrow as it Jake's Pre-school summer fair.

PillockOfTheCommunity · 20/06/2008 19:58

I asked with J for the same reasons as you Caz, M was desperate for a sister and had named the bump Lucy , finding out gave him time to get used to the idea.

All sorted here I've arranged for D to stay with my friend JP (the one from the dating site that I've ended up fab friends with). Been a bit of a mad day really, as much for her as for me, but all settled now, I think! He says he wants a relationship with me but I've told him I want to take it very slowly and let him get his life in order before I get involved.

D is down near you at his mum's this weekend oooggs! I'm off out on the piss to enjoy myself with JP tonight so see you tomorrow

AngeG · 20/06/2008 20:04

Glad things are sorted POTC Good idea to take things slowly.

Have a fab time tonight. xx

AngeG · 20/06/2008 20:44

Hi SOL - How are the girls?

Hi Oooggs - How are you feeling?

AngeG · 20/06/2008 20:45

I'm bored DH is watching football again I'm so fed up with football!

Sexonlegs · 20/06/2008 20:48

Hi Ange, I am bored too. Going to watch BB in a mo whilst dh is out

Girls are fine thanks. Katie is v snotty, chesty etc but on reasonable form. Becky is good too considering how bad her croup was last night and that she didn't have as much sleep as she should have poor thing.

K also took a few steps tonight. She was so chuffed with herself. We all clapped and she stood there clapping too bless her

AngeG · 20/06/2008 20:50

Hooray to K taking a few steps bless her. I bet she looked so pleased with herself.

Glad the girls aren't too bad. Hope you all get more sleep tonight.

Haven't watched any BB yet. I seem to always wait until the last few weeks before getting into it.

oooggs · 20/06/2008 20:51

ange - I feel sick sat here with a lump in my throat urging not hungry but feel I need to eat something, just sipping water

anyway - good to see you - I seem to miss when you are about - J all ready for school?

OP posts:
Sexonlegs · 20/06/2008 20:53

Hi Oooggs You poor lamb. Hope this phase passes soon.

AngeG · 20/06/2008 20:57

Oh Oooggs and sorry you're feeling so ill. Hope it eases for you soon.

Good to see you too. Feel like I haven't 'spoken' to you for aaaaggggeeess.

I think J is ready for school. I'm not sure I am, although I know he really needs the extra stimulation now. He's had 4 visits so far and has managed to embarrass me on each occasion...bless him. Poor thing has to start full time school on his birthday What about your J?

oooggs · 20/06/2008 21:01

no visits yet an hour session on 8th July with parent/s. The other local schools do several visits but this one only invite you to the summer fair, sports day and this one afternoon visit.

They say it because it is half the size of the other schools and only takes a 30 intake per year, but I wish it was a bit more

He is ready, but I don't think it had dawned on him that he is leaving nursery to go to school

OP posts:
AngeG · 20/06/2008 21:06

Shame he doesn't get more visits.

Jake has had 2 with me and other new children and their parents and 2 with his different pre-schools and then will have 1 more on 8th July when he meets his teacher and all the children in his class. His school takes 90 per year.

IKWYM about it not dawning that he will be leaving pre-school, he will really miss the teachers. I know I'm going to cry on his last day
