Thanks for the good wishes ladies. Oh and for those that asked you can sponsor me here. I got my pack today including hat, tshirt and the all important bra to decorate! Any ideas for a theme?

Jamlet has played up all day she had a bad night, we think it's teething pains etc. Then she screamed at DH for an hour this morning, but calmed down a little after he gave her some calpol (and I spoke to him on the phone so i knew how she was which added to the shittyness of the walk, because I also felt like a mean, selfish mummy). But she wasn't much better when I was home this afternoon. She had one BF from me shortly after I got back, but later she just kept biting me (first time she's done this). And refused to sleep, even though she's only had about 2 x 20 mins all day. Even at bedtime she refused milk, both from me and from a bottle, but she did go to sleep quite quickly as she was exhausted. So the bottle of milk is in the fridge waiting, as are my norks (well they're waiting but not in the fridge) as I'm sure she'll wake later for a feed.

lackaDAISYcal · 21/06/2008 19:32

how about lots of big bright gerbra daisies?

or sew a fabric baby doll from each one to show that BFing can help protect against breast cancer?

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 21/06/2008 19:35

I was thinking about trying to tie BF in somehow. Can anyone who's clued up on these things send me info on statistics etc about BF and b.cancer? Because if I do do that then I want to be able to back it up if I get asked about it.

lackaDAISYcal · 21/06/2008 19:36

sorry to hear about the jamlet DD used to bite me when she was teething so it could be that, or there seems to be some non-specific bug going about here; DD has been sniffly and grumpy and off her food for a few days now....except for Pizza Express obviously.

The DCs have been in bed since 6pm (DS) and 6:30pm (DD)

i was a bit confused by it all.....pregnancy brain and all that.

TV is utterly shite tonight. why does the same fecking footie match have to be on BBC and ITV at the same time?

am stuck watching Andrew Marr's History of Britain....

we had Gladiators on. Probably not ideal just before bedtime

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 21/06/2008 20:24

Evening all.

Am bored, crappy tv, football...yawn!

Didn't get told to avoid nuts at PS training yesterday or to drink milk ! We did the Frubes experiment, but ds stole my Frube and squeezed it all over himself and then started swinging it around so a lot of stuff got fromage fraised!

Love some of those Principles dresses daisy, one in particular that I saw a few weeks ago and wanted to wait for it to be in the sale to buy it. The bastards have only reduced it by £10 and the website only have a size 8 in stock !

We need a new fridge freezer and I have been trawling 'tinterweb for a biggy, but a cheapy and found this site. It is like ebay, but for Comet to sell off all their ex-display and returns. It's a great place for appliances!

God I'm bored!

NattyEcoWarriorPrincess · 21/06/2008 20:45

hey girls
n e one about?

lackaDAISYcal · 21/06/2008 20:47

hi holly and foxy

oops i just bought some more nappies . they are the new Ecobumbles by east peasy which are only £3 each and are sort of hybrid shaped terry/pocket birth to potty nappy. thought it would be worth seeing what they are like. I have loads os inserts for boosting so it's a cheap addition to my stash.

lol at DS eating the frube holly. I didn't dare take DD with me; she would have wrecked the joint.

DH is asleep on the sofa. He is limiting my car buying funds so I'm not happy with him. It's gone from 7K to 5K to 3K in the space of 48 hours. I told him I may as well keep mine and get the passenger airbag disabled so the baby can go in the front and then we can never go anywhere as a family again without having to take two cars

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 21/06/2008 20:51

Daisy, my dp is in a foul mood and has been all day, mostly about money and lack of it. He is pissing me off.

There is a creche being run along side the PS classes, but ds was screaming, so I took him in the class with me...big mistake! He was a complete PITA!

Hey natty and foxy x

lackaDAISYcal · 21/06/2008 20:54

there was a little boy at ours who was nearly a year old, and he just played happily and came and smiled at all of us and toddled about. he was lovely. Made me wonder why mine can't be placid like that

OP posts:
foxythesnowfox · 21/06/2008 20:55

Hey Holly, Natty and Daisy.

What car are you going for Daisy?

Scrabulous anyone?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 21/06/2008 20:58

Nooooo foxy, I haven't scrabbed for ages and am worried I'll get sucked in again!

IKWYM daisy. My ds was running around like a loon, stealing fruit from the table, rifleing through handbags, climbing on chairs etc. Next time he is going in the creche whether he screams or not!

My dcs are still up. I suppose I'd better do something about it really, but they are playing quite nicely together and I don't want to disturb them!
