Yes, I have a Party with the girls at 3pm on the 28th Bramshott so could meet you before, or in the morning (would only be older 2 and I as P sleeps in the morning) I honestly don't mind. For lunch with your friends I recommend The Cock Inn it's very near Lewes and is great for families and does fabbo food

morning - dcs at nursery and I'm pulling a day off , work pissed me off so much yesterday so I thought I would leave them to it I am on a credit day (work flexi time) to make up for the extra monday morning & tuesday I have done this week.

Hi all. Popping in to update you on my crappy week!

I should have been flying to Minorca as I type, but I have had to cancel my holiday due to my ongoing health issues. I am so gutted about it as I really wanted to go, but I was just so scared that I may need some sort of medical treatment when away or even need hospital admission.

Last Thursday, as you may know, I went into A+E with terrible pain. I was given morphine for pain relief and the pain (obviously) settled down. I was sent home.

On Friday I went back to A+E with pain and was given more morphine. The pain settled (again) and I was sent home.

On Saturday night I had another really bad bout and went back to A+E for the third time. I had more morhpine and was admitted to one of the surgical wards. I stayed there until yesterday when I was discharged home. I have not been great, my liver function was shocking and I have had jaundice (nice yellow eyes ) due to a stone becoming lodged in my bile duct (lovely).
Unfortunately I still have my gall bladder in place as they wouldn't take it out during a bad attack. I have been told that I should be moved up the waiting list because of having another nasty episode so I am really hoping for a date soon.

I know that is a long winded post, hope everyone is well and not as miserable as me!

I am really sad that we haven't been able to go, but with what has happened over the last few days I just thought it was too much of a risk.

mammyjo -how awful for you! Do hope you get a quick date now and can enjoy a holiday later in the year without your horrid gall bladder!

B has been pretty screamy today again but then she's hardly slept (daft baby) so perhaps that's the reason? She has another tooth as well so i don't think that will have helped. I'm going out tonight to a friends for another friends birthday party - got absolutely nothing to wear!

Feel so short tempered today. Got friends coming over for a take away later so need to shake out of this foul mood.

Thanks everyone! I am claiming the money back for the holiday from the insurance so hope to book something else for later in the year once I am sorted. Won't book until I have had the op though or the same thing could happen again!
Dh has been very supportive. He has seen how ill I have been this week and I think it has brought it home to him that I haven't been joking about feeling rough iykwim.
I am sad that we haven't gone, but I have pain right now and I would have had to endure that when away which would have made for a crap holiday.

Aww Mammyjo - really sorry to hear about the holiday, and obviously even more sorry to hear that you've been in pain and in and out of hospital. Hope they can bring your op date forward and get this sorted out.

DH is out at some party-thing tonight and I am steadily working my way through some red wine, waiting for my stuffed butternut squash to cook, and then going to watch Before Sunrise on DVD - hurray!
