Still here - too annoyed to sleep I am just sick of arguing and I hate the fact he can make me feel like this!
T has been lovely today, as I said he has just started waving, he's also started to cuddle his soft toys (well, an elephant in particular) and come to us for cuddles, which he hasn't done in the past (soft toys got bashed or chewed!). When I'm drying his bum with toilet roll I say "Dab dab dab dab" and today he was saying to back to me, only he was saying "Bab bab bab bab"
Regularly has tantrums though, especially when he's tired, you might remember that he did the breath holding thing a few months back which terrified us, it was all related. Ange, you said J did that, didn't you? When did he grow out of it? T does it a lot less, I think because we manage it better now we know what's happening.
He has started biting me Hopefully it was a one off as he wasn't bothered about a feed tonight, really hope it's not going to continue

Am pmsl at NL's post on the shoulders thread, and just commenting to Pisha on how you've really shone as a parent now the PFB thing has worn off

PillockOfTheCommunity · 15/06/2008 23:12

that's you as in SPB btw!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 15/06/2008 23:13

the shoulders thread

AngeG · 15/06/2008 23:18

POTC

SPB - Yes J did do it...although in the end we found out it may have been partly to do with his reflux. We did learn to manage it better rather than panic. We used to blow in his face slightly to to 'shock' him into breathing.

Hope the biting doesn't continue. Izzy bites occasionally, normally when she's not that interested in milk, or if she's been feeding for a while and it's not coming out so fast!

Speaking of BF. I'm thinking Izzy might be coming to an end . Although every time I think that she becomes more interested. I don't think I'm ready to give up yet!

morning well the sun is shining and the weather is great

Bad night but it was managable as I slept 7pm - 11pm anyway so had a head start - think it is the result of mmr which was 10 days ago!!!

so new thread??????

CaptainDippy · 16/06/2008 09:51

Boo!

mammyjo · 16/06/2008 09:56

Morning ladies Hope everyone is ok.

CD, how is the cold today?

Oooggs, glad you managed some sleep even if it was very early in the evening

SPB, hope you have sorted things out with dh now

Where is NGT? Hope you are well and not feeling too sickly xxx

Just to add to the tantrum thing, F regularly drops to the floor to cry if she doesn't get what she wants. Will fight me to get into the car seat too if she doesn't want to go in, she does a mean back arch!!

elkiedee · 16/06/2008 09:57

Morning all

mammyjo · 16/06/2008 10:42

Hi Elkie, how are you?

elkiedee · 16/06/2008 11:16

Feeling slightly less awful this morning, thanks mj, although it always makes me nervous saying that.

But how about how you're feeling?

mammyjo · 16/06/2008 11:26

I am ok, feel as if I am living on painkillers.
I spoke to my consultant's secretary this morning to tell her I am not away this week as she has me down for a short notice appointment. She said that I am first on the list for a cancellation so I am hoping that I won't have to wait too long. It just depends if anyone who is booked can't go ahead with their surgery for any reason.
Glad you are ok. I remember very well how rough I felt during the early weeks so really feel for you

CaptainDippy · 16/06/2008 11:28

Glad you are feeling "slightly less awful" Elkie How are you doing MJ?
