Hi all,
Tamara is going through a whingey/clingey phase at the moment which is driving me mad...she bursts into tears at being put down on playmat/sat in chair/in ring etc but the moment I pick her up she is all smiles and gurgles. I've tried leaving her to cry but she'll just keep going ...this too shall pass...!!
Naetha - have you tried having a few soft toys in the cot for Ben to play with? Tamara is very attached to her enormous tiget and elephant (both about the same size as her) which lie on either side of her....we regularly walk in to find her sleeping with one of them right on top of her! She'll also lie and chat to them before falling asleep, which is cute
Frag - amazing news on the job, well done! Maybe your boss was just saying that because he has worked with you its harder for you in an interview than for an outsider as you can't get away with bullshit...? Very impressed with Tana's timing - ds did something like that when I took him into the office at around 4 months, its why I've been holding off taking Tamara in!!
Madmouse - glad the move went well - hope you settle in soon. And you may think you have more storage than you can possibly use but I absolutely guarantee that you will expand to fill it ...that's the number one rule!
My weight loss simply isn't happening...I shifted 6lbs and was feeling really pleased with myself (still had over a stone to go, but it was a good start), then put it all back on again Really really annoyed with myself. Anyway, have now completely stopped bfing and my lumpy boobs have finally reverted to normal, so am now going to start dieting and working out properly. Trouble is, its soooo hard not to have 1/2/3 glasses of wine in the evenings after a long day with 2 dcs....but I know I mustnt. Have invested in some good gin and low cal tonic in the hope that will help !!!!
OK, off to find some food for dinner - thats the other problem...by the time I actually get around to eating I'm craving carbs and eat all the wrong things Ah well, I've changed gyms and got a new training programme today, so hopefully I'll be inspired to start working out more often...
