Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
damewashalot · 07/05/2008 11:07

I'm not being nice, I'm not around enough to be nice, just gathered you weren't great of late and as am ignoring everyone else thought I'd show that I'd at least noticed you. Shall be mean from now on

Jas · 07/05/2008 11:16

Yes please

Sorry to be ungrateful....you are right, I am not good at the moment, but any time people mention hug and my name in the same sentence I cry

I need to talk about nothingness and keep busy.

Jas · 07/05/2008 11:18

Oh, yes to bump pics

I'm reserving judgement on the tattoo til I see it in rl, as she def does not look happy in the little pc!

damewashalot · 07/05/2008 11:22

I shall poke you instead go and do some housework and get off here!
I do get what you mean, know the feelig when you really don't want 'nice' but being ignored can be as bad. No more hugging, I'm too fat anyway, my bump gets in the way

Jas · 07/05/2008 11:30

Give us a bump pic later then

I'll try and do one of the glasses, but it is actually difficult to see them (no one has noticed them at all) in a photo unless it is an extreme close up.

I'm going to go and get the ladder and get dd2 some dolls out of the loft - se has been askig for ages, but I now have apile of winther coats to go up too, so really need to do something with them.

Flame · 07/05/2008 12:17

She looks pleasantly relaxed in the higher def one I am also reserving full judgement for rl.

damewashalot · 07/05/2008 13:47

Been to midwife, baby wrong way around but all else fine. bump

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/05/2008 14:07

Looking good dame!

No bickering here mrm - dh is away . I spent an hour on the phone to my friend last night, so was late to bed and didn't get anything done/watched!

Dd loved seeing the boys too mrm. She was most upset that she couldn't say goodbye, but we told her to do a regal wave and say goodbye over the whole park, and that they would be sure to hear!

for ds not sleeping well Phoenix (bet it's still better than dd ). He is obviously much warmer blooded than dd, as she will still sleep in a 2.5 tog grobag with her room at 23/24 degrees!
Must brave trying her with the duvet again soon.

Am sorry to hear that you're not feeling any brighter Jas. Did you not get the glasses that you showed us before? They were noticeable in the pics.

mustrunmore · 07/05/2008 16:35

Thanks for emailing that close up csws. Think Jas neds to see that to prove to herself that my lady is happy! Anywa, I apparently look miserable as fuck when I'm happy, so there's no telling what the lady is feeling

Poor you Jas. But there's not alot that we can say that'll cheer you up. Except that we reaslly truely dont want to hug you

So. MIL arrives tomorrow. House needs serious cleaning, bedding sorted etc etc. And I just cant be bothreed; its so nice and hot! Couldve done a bit before aerobics this mornnig. But opted for going to friends house to get ds1's cycle helmet back and run the block with their little boy (he's fast!!), then rearrange album and dvd storage in an attempt to stop ds2 getting the porn out and runnnig around shouting 'titties'

mustrunmore · 07/05/2008 21:38

i've seen csws on the apprentice threadand not bothering to come on here to say hello

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/05/2008 21:42

I never come on until 10 on Wednesdays you cheeky mare.

Jas · 07/05/2008 21:53

You can tell me my glasses look ok That would make me happy....pics on profile now.

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/05/2008 21:58

Lovely Jas, and a slightly better pic of you than usual!

Frizbe · 07/05/2008 23:43

Dame, photos look fab, on all fours for you then, get that baby round!

MRM I need scales to do that, will try and get you a weight next week, when I can get to the gym, I've been avoiding the gym and just doing classes since we got our new leisure centre open, after a year of being aerobic starved and having to do the gym, I'm enjoying the ability to move about and laugh at myself in the mirror Anyway to the point, the scales are in the gym thus I've not stood on them since last Nov! but will make an effort for you

Phoenix, not sure what you can do about the room temp, bar a fan or summat maybe? would a de-humidifier help do you think?

Flame, you sunburnt girl?

Jas, I need to go loft too....

damewashalot · 08/05/2008 10:42

I have 2 problems with that friz, 1 is that spd makes getting on floor tricky and getting up again worse, 2 is the fact that the baby is sppinning most of the time so even if I get it the right way up, the chances of it staying there are slim

Like the glasses Jas.

Ouch for burnt flame and have no idea if I've read anything else but tat's not bad going for me is it?

mustrunmore · 08/05/2008 14:13

I ilke them Jas!

Friz, that'd be great./ Oh, and can you do it in imperial please. I know I can convert, but it makes more sense to me immediately if I hear it in stones not kg!! How much do you think you might weigh??

Flame · 08/05/2008 16:36

Phone isn't co-operating with sending texts today (am bashing it to make it co-operate ).

I'm fine - don't worry. Just enjoying the sun and rl . Depression best it has been in ages

Oh, and little guy has been taking himself to the toilet since 11.30am, we have had one accident - diego was on and I think it was too thrilling to leave

Jas · 08/05/2008 18:34

Thaks all

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/05/2008 21:24

Seems that there's prob more chance that I have type 2 diabetes rather than gestational. Have to do blood tests 4 times a day for nearly 3 weeks before they have enough info to decide for definite whether I have any sort of it or not though. Next appointment on Monday morning, when I'll see 2 consultants, a midwife, and a dietician.

EachPeachPearMum · 08/05/2008 21:28

CSWS- sorry- that is bad news. How on earth can they tell it's not gestational? Or is that what all the testing is about?

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/05/2008 21:42

Well I think that they won't be absolutely certain until some time after the birth! The testing is to establish whether I have diabetes at all, of whatever type, and if I do, whether I can control it ok through diet, or will need to have insulin.
She said that it's very rare to get diabetes caused by pregnancy hormones this early on (and the fact that I'm breastfeeding still actually makes it even less likely), and when I questioned why they test this early now if it's so rare, she said that it's only done early on people with 2 or more risk factors (family history and weight in my case), in order to try and pick up people who have type 2 without realising it.

Jas · 08/05/2008 22:36

Oh, dear.
Have you started blood testing yet?

Hopefully whatever has caused it, you will be able to contol it with diet or diet and tablets, and not have to test yourself so often.

How is the suar free diet going?

Frizbe · 08/05/2008 22:42

take some anti histimine Flame
Did you send dd to school?

CSWS dd1 was like that, then she just changed at about 3 and started sleeping in, now I have to drag her out of bed in a morning.
Dd2 is still getting there and will happily get up at 6.30.....

{{{hugs}}}} to all who need them

for the money off mortgage Phoenix.

Off to Wales tomorrow folkes, so won't be about all weekend, hope you all have good ones

Frizbe · 08/05/2008 22:46

Ok that's weird a whole new set of messages that didn't come up when I was typing before! how odd.....

CSWS hope it does turn out to be gestational only.

MRM I would proabaly guesstimate 11-11 n half stone, but to be honest I duno? I'm 5'8" and my weight tends to sit around my hips and middle....sigh....pear. Will defo find out for you next week

Flame · 08/05/2008 23:26

Why am I taking antihistamine?

for diabetes CSWS

Enjoy Wales!
