Can anyone help me here?

Flamesparrow · 19/07/2008 13:19

£51 - nappiesgalore told me to bid a tank of petrol Going to collect it in a bit, then just have to wait impatiently for NG to get back from her weekend away so I can have a bike to use it on!!

I am very worried about the fighting etc aspect

EachPeachPearMum · 19/07/2008 19:29

I'd be more worried about flameboy escaping while you don't notice tbh!

Flamesparrow · 19/07/2008 19:48

I am going to be tying him down with many straps

on a different subject... i've lost my coil strings

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 19/07/2008 19:58

mmmm. Is that why you were ill maybe?
Were they there when you were checked for your illness? Did GP dislodge them then? [clueless when it comes to coils emoticon]

Flamesparrow · 19/07/2008 20:04

I have no idea when I last checked them I have an appointment Tuesday morning so I can ask him to check then!!!

Trying not to panic, but horror stories of coils travelling round bodies are floating through my head

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 19/07/2008 20:05

Are you supposed to be able to touch coil trings? What happens if they get yanked then by accident? doesnt it all get tangled up with your mooncup? I know nothing

EachPeachPearMum · 19/07/2008 20:07

erm- if you can touch them (ie check them yrself, as in with yr hand...) then wouldn't they get bashed during sex????
Wouldn't they just get shoved out of the way, so to speak????

Flamesparrow · 19/07/2008 20:07

Yup, meant to touch them every so often to check they are in place. No problem with a mooncup as it sits lower than the strings (iirc but not used it since having the coil).

Should have soapnut delivery this week, can bring with me

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 19/07/2008 20:08

and mrm- you never told me what bootleg porn was!

Flamesparrow · 19/07/2008 20:09

They can get bashed occasionally (didn't warn DH ), not enough to cause an issue though iyswim

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 19/07/2008 20:11

Surely that depends on the lengths involved?

Flamesparrow · 19/07/2008 20:12

I know some people have gone back to be trimmed if it injured too much they generally stay towards one side/the back so don't get in the way (far tmi yet??)

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 19/07/2008 20:14

Well, if they're trimmed.... how on earth do you reach to check them???? I don't have very long fingers, and I'm assuming thats how you do it... eek sorry.

EachPeachPearMum · 19/07/2008 20:14

Now I know why I never thought a coil would be a good option for us! rofl

Flamesparrow · 19/07/2008 20:15

I have no idea how people do it if they are trimmed! My fingers are fairly long and slim, and it is all down to positioning

EachPeachPearMum · 19/07/2008 20:18

You know- I'm sure if men were the ones who got pg, they would have invented much more useable and reliable contraceptive methods!

Got to go to bed.... sickness coming on.

Flamesparrow · 19/07/2008 20:19

I agree!

Go sleep lots

What a lovely conversation to read while i'm eating my tea

Ds has just gone to bed. He's not well . Not sure what's wrong with him but he was sick earlier, been whingey all day and off his food and i noticed he had a ulcer/blister thing on his tongue. I was in town at the time so nipped into Boots to see if they knew what it might be. The woman asked a few questions and gave us Bonjela not knowing what it was but possibly an ulcer or where he may have bitten his tongue. He's had Calpol too cos his temp was 38.8 earlier, but it dropped to 37.1 before he went to bed. Hopefully he'll have a decent sleep.

Frizbe · 19/07/2008 22:09

Oooh Phoneix, hope he's ok for you tonight not nice when they're poorly, hope he's not got the icky pukey pooey bug that's done the rounds down here.

Flame, thanks for the blog, was great fun Good luck with the bike trailer, most of the March thread have them and think they're great (all 3 girls!) I'm just considering a bike seat for dd2, now that I have a new bike, mind you I've not sorted the inner tubes out for it yet brought them last week, just need to fit em
Dunno about the old coil situation, but you've answered a few questions that I've never asked!

PS: Why the blog thing only till the 20th?

EPPM haven't answered your thread, as I thought I might be too late.

dh and I are sat here drinking sangria, as I won a bottle of lemonade on a village fete raffle earlier so it seemed only fair to add some cheap red wine to it, plus I got a lovely bottle of Boots bubble bath (one I like though!) plus, wait for it, 2 Froot Shoots on the Tombola Oh we've been living it up

Flamesparrow · 19/07/2008 22:22

aww for poorly boy

Friz - read the mission statement on the main site it explains it all

OP posts:
Frizbe · 19/07/2008 22:54

Doh righty, goddit

Phoenix · 19/07/2008 23:06

Who's doing the new thread????

Ds just woke up but has gone back to sleep quite quickly.

Flamesparrow · 19/07/2008 23:08
