Haven't actually started potty training yet Jas. Was just a dd driven one off evening this week. Was going to wait until summer but we'll see how she goes in the mean time.

Day got much better thanks. MrMarvel party (was joint 1 yo and 4 yo) was good cause dd ate at it and danced and stroked a rabbit, and 40th party was good cause older children looked after dd and she mostly played on the bouncy castle (friends have their own one which fills their entire garden bar patio!).

Despite all that and an hour swimmimg, she still only slept 8:45-6:45!

Yawn. Tired after a day in the sun in Knebworth, but loads of TV to watch before bed.

erm we have started ..... this weekend
So far- 18 wees in the loo, 1 poo in the loo. One major accident (beeeg puddle- in kitchen thank goodness) 1 minor (in the garden ), 2 'drips'.

Only problem is - REFUSES to sit on potty, so I have to dash upstairs every time she needs to go [grrr]. Plus she won't let DH do it, only mama. [seethe] She does seem to be able to hold it while we go upstairs though, though I am carrying her, not her climbing (yeah, I don't think she could wait the 15 minutes )

Anyway, we're pretty pleased with how its gone so far. Tomorrow (nursery) will be interesting though- will put her in a pull-up to actually travel there I think, as its too far for her to hold it really.
Also, I put a nappy on for her nap (2-3.30) and she won't go without after- so its just mornings really IYSWIM.
She was ready to start though- keeps asking for no nappies previously.

Needless to say, we haven't been anywhere this BH! (Well, Nana's house, but that is only 5 mins away and has a choice of 2 bathrooms, so was very popular)

Um- mrm- that lady doesn't look very happy (maybe resolution?)- is it the being naked, or the leaves she doesn't like?

Apparently it's a look of ecstasy as the vine leaves have tickled her fancy .

Well done on the potty training!

She is happy. Very very happy. You have to look closely, as her hair is over her face a little. I was going to have her face completely covered by her hair, but thought that might be a bot too eerie looking!

Also, I know you said it didn't hurt, but what is your pain threshold? I can't believe its not still red/sore- doesn't look like it was done this week- very impressive. Or is this before redness?

Thanks EPPM. Glad you like it better now! Er, its about,dunno, 4 or 5 inches high? Is it csws? Truely did not hurt, neither in itself or compared to the ones on my feet. I have a very low pain threshold unless its for pain I want, IYSWIM.

BTW, forgot to say goodbye to you csws, as ds2 kind of wandered off!

Stop press......weighed myself today.... have lost 2lbs since last checked, which think was 2 weeksish ago ..... So now have 1 stone 12lbs to go.

I always thought ankle/feet ones were the most painful though, due to all the nerve endings?
(disclaimer...I may have imagined this! I'm sure I read something years ago about henry rollins, and he said it was the ones on his calves that hurt most...)

Well, ankle bone was intereseting, but tendons on tops of feet were seriously breathtaking! (are you really here??!! No noe ever is these days!)

My head is still all over the place. But am very happy about tattoo and weight loss. Not so happy about bad bad runnnig performance. Ds1 is happy about seeing cswsdd at Knebworth

Ds hasn't been sleeping well for a few nights. Its so warm in his room now. It's the attic room and was 24 degrees when he went to bed tonight. He's got a cold too so its a combination of that and warmness i think. Medised isn't working for him either poor baby.

for poorly ds Phoenix, can you open a velux a bit for some air for him? (mind you you can never tell if it'll rain in the night I supposed....)

EPPM congrats on the potty training I put a cut in half pampers bed mat on the car seat for journeys under an hour, as dd2 seems to be able to yell for the loo, unless she falls asleep but I think this is cause she's bottom of the pile, dd1 wasn't trained this early.
(hell she's still doing nights now, dd2 is dryer than her, I think Jas had the same thing with her Girls too )

Friz, I need to ask you something really really important. Obv you can ignore, or repond by email if better. Can I ask how much you weigh? For comparative purposes.Because you reckon you're a 14 too, so prob the closest person I'm within reach of equalling if I pull all the stops out, if that makes sense! I'd ask for a underwear only photo, but yo mifght think I was a stalker

I'm a bit lurky too just dull I'm afraid, mostly being pg and tired. DH took some pics of my bump in the garden last night, might pop back and link later if anyone wants to see how much I've grown.

Yes Friz we have his velux open all day but it doesn't make that much difference. The temp only dropped to 21 over night. He's in shorty pj's and just a sheet at night.
