Evening all.
We're back... shattered though, and have only managed to take in 'bootleg porn' and house problems

I want to know what bootleg porn is though? I am assuming its not pictures of legs in boots....

Oh- and 17th Aug is off?

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/07/2008 21:12

Welcome back . How was holiday?
17th Aug is indeed off, but I will come and stay with my parents at some point in August, so maybe we could still meet up and go to the Sea Life Centre or something?

Oh, and I was talking to Swedes the other day, and it turns out that you and she share a taste in girl's names. I was quite surprised given how unusual a name it is. Her's is just a couple of months older.

EachPeachPearMum · 11/07/2008 21:25

Swedes or Swedishmum? I thought Swedishmum had one, but maybe they both do!
(I thought Swedes had boys, and much older?)
But - its great taste
Maybe I need to know what her boys are called too...?

Sea Life Centre would be lovely! DD begs to go most w/ends!

Holiday was good- a little long for me (heat getting to me with pg), but dd loved it. She was a monkey for the first week though, until she got the hang of things, then settled down. Manners have gone out of the window. Has learned what lollipops are [groan] and how to pester for icecream 50 times a day.
She begged to go to bed this evening at 6! Oh how they change....(If the name CSWS hadn't gone already, I think it would have been mine...)

Phoenix · 11/07/2008 21:58

Hi EPPM Ds asks for 'ollipops' every day. We had some in the freezer once but he remembers lol. He somehow knows what ice cream vans are too we've never taken him to one and i don't think my parents have either cos they don't go round where they live

I'm getting my tattoo done tomorrow

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/07/2008 22:12

Swedishmum doesn't have one (I know her in RL as her dh works with mine). I'm meeting Swedes next week (she's local) and you're right, she has 2 older boys, then a 2 yo dd and a 1 yo ds.

Ah, the pestering for ice cream. It's fun isn't it .

Good luck with tattoo [nutter ].

Jas · 11/07/2008 22:57

Do you know everyone on here csws?

No lollipops here, but ds recognises an ice cream van at about 1/2 mile. There is one at school every day (I never buy from him there, but have to go past to get home)

LOL @ legs inboots.

If I'd found it I'd probably have binned it I'll know to save it and give to mrm now.

Flamesparrow · 12/07/2008 09:40

DS didn't fall asleep until midnight last night - then was all bouncy from 7am

We don't have lollipop love, but we do have requests for "Ish-sheem" (complete with icecream eating miming )

Ooh flameboy nearly became flamegirl

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 12/07/2008 09:50

We can better that by a few mins the night before flame - dd went to bed at 11:40 and got up at 6:20. Then when nanny went off to work we were left with a screaming shouting tired miserable toddler. Last night she managed 8:20-6:00 (50 min nap during the day to catch up from previous night), so is likely to be tired again well before the end of the wedding. Anyone know how to keep her still and quiet for a 1.25hr catholic mass ?

Am working on knowing everyone Jas .

Flamesparrow · 12/07/2008 10:04

medised (or was that not what you were aiming at!? )

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 12/07/2008 10:18

If it actually worked on dd I'd consider it, but it makes bugger all difference. The child is simply immune to sleep!

EachPeachPearMum · 12/07/2008 15:15

Phoenix- thats funny- DD calls them 'ollipops' too! She still finds 'l's really hard to pronounce.

Jas- for some reason, dd is scared of ice cream vans (good thing really!) -I think its the noise- its very loud round here.

csws- re keeping quiet- loads of snacks!

EachPeachPearMum · 12/07/2008 16:05

csws- I think I am thinking of TooTicky not swedishmum. All her 4 have scandi names...

Phoenix · 12/07/2008 18:32

Ds mostly says 'aaaahhhhhh' for ice cream lol. He does say ice cream sometimes now though.

Tattoo is all done and a pic on my profile Not a bad guess mrm, it cost £80.

Ds' sleep has been bad for the last few nights too . I wonder if there's a BabyNet with a Feb '06 thread that they all go on together and plan not to sleep

Has anyone got anything exciting planned for tomorrow? Hope the rain stays away like it has all day here today .

Flamesparrow · 12/07/2008 18:55

Ooh I really like it

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 12/07/2008 19:10

Wow- its much bigger than I thought it would be!

Jas · 12/07/2008 19:16

I like it
You didn't get the writing added then?
Or have you cut it out of the picture because we all said don't?

Phoenix · 12/07/2008 19:27

No, no writing Jas . It cost enough without adding things lol.

It took just short of an hour to do. It had to be quite big to get all the detail in apparantly EPPM.

mustrunmore · 12/07/2008 20:29

Yep, I like it How much did I guess again? Just so I can judge my own judgement! You know waht it makes me wanna do... get another one!

Outbid on pole again So you dont need to collect it for me Flame.

Kinda achy after my 5th aerobics of the week this morning. Me and dh were gonna run tonihgt, but I cant face it, as I'm doinf e little one with my running partner in the morn, and dont want him to beat me, even if it is only gonnaq be 2.5km¬! (his max).

Phoenix · 12/07/2008 20:40

You guessed about £70 MRM. Dh has gone on about getting a tattoo for years, i persuaded him to get one and he's already searching for his next one .

How many you got mrm? Just the one on your foot or more?

Flamesparrow · 12/07/2008 20:50

oh arse even tried hunting for poles to see your bids!

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 12/07/2008 21:19

mustrunmore · 12/07/2008 21:20

Flamesparrow · 12/07/2008 22:43

EachPeachPearMum · 12/07/2008 22:49
