Yay EPPM! Is that much diff to what you thought in the first place?

EachPeachPearMum · 16/07/2008 15:01

Nah- its 10 days after GP calculated it, but she igored my protests about long cycles, and its 3 days after I thought.
21st is good for me!

Jas · 16/07/2008 17:57

EPPM

Flamesparrow · 16/07/2008 18:10

yay! my nausea used to come when i was tired (with ds) and i would get a pounding headache first.

I have had 3 strong coffees today, with caffeine and apart from being insanely hyper, I am fine! I think I have had thrush and/or infection since October (looked back through my health fanjo threads) just without classic symptoms. It took 5 days of being on thrush pills to stop itching ( for tmi)

I have to go back next week and I will ask for a scan to check my coil.

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 16/07/2008 20:15

An infection since oct is not good flame- and you went to docs SO many times since then! how could they miss something with all the symptoms you had? Hope the abs have worked their magic (the ones you had are nasty- I had them for 2 days, and were horrid).

CSWS- only just saw your thread on boys' names, and I'm stealing Laurence (with a 'u') and Duncan for my list! We are hopeless not doing very well with names this time round!

Phoenix · 16/07/2008 20:47

Yay for scan EPPM . Don't you like any of my boys name suggestions on that thread?

for infection Flame. Hope it gets better

I think someone has swapped my ds . He's always slept and never been a good eater, now he's playing up at bedtime and eating from the second he gets up til the second he goes to bed and finishing meals too.

EachPeachPearMum · 16/07/2008 21:08

I can't remember any Phoenix - told you, I'm rubbish with names atm!

I wanted to ask those of you with more than 1 DC- when did you tell the existing one that you were having another?

I suggested we start warning DD around early december... but DH thinks other people will talk to her about it before then and confuse/upset her. I am concerned if we tell her too soon though she will be confused by baby not arriving now?

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/07/2008 21:11

You're not on my names thread Phoenix, or was that to EPPM ?

Glad that you approve of our taste EPPM. Duncan Elliot is front runner at the moment .

for infection since October flame.

Can I ask a daft question about potty training. When they poo on the potty/loo, do you use wipes to clean them, or normal loo roll?

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/07/2008 21:14

I don't think you can leave it too late as she will hear from other people. We mentioned it to dd quite early, but didn't make a big deal about it, and have gradually mentioned him more and more, particularly since anomaly scan. She only asked for the first time this week when he was coming out. 'In the bath?' she asked, which is where we were at the time , then this week she said she needed to help her little brother. 'Help him to do what?' I asked. 'To come out and climb on the table and bounce' she replied .

Phoenix · 16/07/2008 21:22

Oh a name thread that you started csws? I thought you meant a boys name one that i posted on the other day that you also posted on

EachPeachPearMum · 16/07/2008 21:28

When dd poos, I use wipes (and lie her on the mat , because I like to ensure she is properly clean. DH uses loo roll, but he has a much better technique than I do, and does get her properly clean.
Since training, she refuses to poo in a nappy (thank goodness)- in fact I am surprised at how quickly I have ceased to be enamoured by DD's poo! pmsl- she pooed in the potty at the w/e, for first time, actually, and I felt a little disgusted by it (was feeling pretty nauseous at the time though)- how quickly I have become used to her going in the loo!

Have to go to bed, am shattered

EachPeachPearMum · 16/07/2008 21:32

Hah- now I know why I coul;dn't remember any of phoenix's suggestions
Thought I was losing it!

Phoenix · 16/07/2008 21:39

Ah ok I found the thread . I'm easily confused .

Flamesparrow · 16/07/2008 21:40

toilet - paper, potty - wipes

they did all blood, wee, poo test, but never anything internal

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 16/07/2008 21:43

So you still put the wipes in a nappy sack to dispose of if potty then flame?

Jas · 16/07/2008 21:47

Oh I did a post then my grandma phoned to congratulate me on the birth of my son ( I have a new 6 week old ephew, and a slightly confused grandmother) and I lost my post.

I only told the dds I was expecing at 20 weeks, and would have left it longer if less people knew, but due to early bleeding and panicing on my part,I had to tell people I wouldn't normally have told,

If I was ever in the same position I would leave it as long as possible to tell smaller children.

Poo - Long time ago but I think I used whatever was to hand, so paper in the bathroom, and wipes on the potty.

Flamesparrow · 16/07/2008 21:48

tend to use washable wipes

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 16/07/2008 21:50

Baby.. as far as can remember, we told ds1 at about 26 weeks or so, certainly after 20wk scan and when I felt 'safer'.

Boys names.. you wont want to know my ideas

poo... ds1 uses loo roll, smears it all up his back, and I use more to clean him up after he's sat there yelling 'check' for a while! ds2.. I use kandoo type wipes on the rare occasion he poos in the toilet not in his pants, because he gets one out and wipes himself first then passes me one.

What else?? Thanks for all the info Flame Pleased to report am not constipated myself! But still dont know why I feel like I dont belong in my own body. I cant be coming on yet

Dh on his third night. He was literally like the walking deads this morninhg; didnt know what day it was even. It was exactly like having smoked too much pot (but I'm fairly sure he has been at work!!) Am looking after friends child all day tomorrow, and had arranged that dh would take ds1 to and from nursery so I could take friends child (diff location), but dh cant be trusted outdoors with any child really, let alone one that runs off, so we've had to make other arrangements. But he says he's fine to have ds2 at home as i'm hewlpingf in nursery tomorrow as they dont have the right adult/kid ratio

Phoenix · 16/07/2008 21:50

The one time ds pooed on the potty i used wipes and flushed them with the poo.

I was wondering why everyone was talking about poo and had to scroll down to re read cos i missed it.

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/07/2008 22:09

We just love talking about poo Phoenix .
Are kandoo wipes flushable?
I can't flush normal wipes, as we're not on mains sewerage and our drains get blocked far too often.

Flamesparrow · 16/07/2008 22:09

I think we told DD about 20 weeks, but can't remember I vaguely remember telling her about a baby in my belly, and he lifting up my top to show a stranegr in the bank

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 16/07/2008 22:09

don't risk kandoo with your drains CSWS

OP posts:
Frizbe · 16/07/2008 22:56

We told dd1 at about 14 weeks I think, same time as we told ss.

Re poo we use a combi of loo roll and kandoo's (wouldn't flush them with you not being on the mains csws = agree w Flame) actually its only a combi in the downstairs loo, as have left kandoos in there for dd1 who is getting used to wiping her own bum, before school

EPPM glad the scan was ok.

MRM I had a weird back pain thing this month, 2 weeks before I came on? exactly like womb ache, but ??? as to what it was.

Frizbe · 16/07/2008 22:56

Jas at your nan, sort of thing my nan would do!

Flamesparrow · 16/07/2008 23:21

i have had a glass of wine about 5ish, and a small bit of whiskey now. I am pissed

antibiotics may well still be in me

Off to bed!

MRM - having bra/nightwear issues I may be squeezing into old stuff
