Just been to a car boot sale but it was cancelled . That's 2 week running now we've got up early for a boot sale and they've been cancelled, bloody weather. It is sunny here today though

mustrunmore · 13/07/2008 14:43

sorry csws; I answered you in my head! Answer is, dont know, other than searching through every single listing for kids beds. I'd have prob searched for bunk bed or midi sleeper actually.

EachPeachPearMum · 14/07/2008 20:44

Hi all- dunno where you all are?
I am shattered and going to bed by 8.30 each night.
Still having nausea should have gone by now???

Flamesparrow · 14/07/2008 20:59

urgh for nausea - i hate it!

we have tied the bedroom door shut tonight. (will obv open it when they are out cold!) I can't take it any more!!

OP posts:
Jas · 14/07/2008 22:08

I would hate it too EPPM. I hope it stops soon for you.

Ds is only just going to sleep. He napped at lunch time for 40 mins, and it has kept him awake for an extra 3 hours this evening.
I should know better, but he fell asleep yesterday, and Saturday at the same time, and I woke him straight up so when he did it again today I felt sorry for him, and left him.
I won't make that mistake again for a while!

Are yours both up Flame?

Flamesparrow · 14/07/2008 22:11

nope - they gave up fairly soon after the door thing

DS did that on Friday - didn't sleep til bloody midnight!!

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 14/07/2008 22:35

DD slept for 2hrs 20 mins this afternoon, but since she is about 15 hours down on her normal amount of sleep over the last week, I think she really needed it! Still settled quite well tonight, and am just keeping my fingers crossed that we're not up any earlier than 6 tomorrow. Off to bed in a tick though, as even 6 will seem early enough!

Sympathies for EPPM still feeling sick. Have you had your rescan yet?

Frizbe · 14/07/2008 22:38

Oh no Flame sorry the little ones (ds in particular I guess) won't stay in bed.

Hi EPPM glad you had a nice hols

Phoenix like the tattoo looks lovely

Hi everyone else hope you all had good weekends.

I got to dress as a Geisha this weekend wig the works, I didn't look too bad actually two photos on the website if anyone has time to go digging, linked off our forum boards Also got to be a Master of Death flattening people with poison kisses
The girls had a great time, mainly digging in sand, though dd2 kept saying to her daddy, I got two wings, two wings! even though she didn't have any wannabe faries eh! She also took to calling everyone Pumpkin Head, and giggling a lot although this mornings trick was to say 'don't like that', on repeat for an hour so we took her to nursery and she really didn't like that!

Phoenix · 15/07/2008 10:11

The one night i turn my laptop off at 9 you're all here.

Ds is asking to go to bed at between 6-7 (he goes at 7 normally but starts asking from 6ish) as usual but when we try to come back down once we've took him he's carrying on and crying 'mama, mama' for an hour or two. We were bringing him back down so now think that's why he's crying cos he thinks he'll get to come back down but we didn't last night and he went to sleep quite quickly so that's our plan from now on

for your 2 not staying in bed Flame. And csws and jas for your non sleepers or late sleepers.

for sickness EPPM.

EachPeachPearMum · 15/07/2008 19:39

re-scan in the morning- trying hard not to stress.
Was the wedding good csws?

Jas · 15/07/2008 21:26

DS was asleep at 5.30 this evening (He has been up since 5 despite the late night) Just hope he sleeps a bit later too.

I managed to get him to walk to the park and home today. Usually he is climbing up my legs wanting to be carried, or back in the buggy after 100 yards, but I had another baby in the buggy so he had no choice

I hope all is well tomorrow EPPM.

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/07/2008 21:29

Good luck EPPM. Let us know how you get on.

Wedding was very good, though spoiled a little for us by dd being a monster, and having to take her back to my parents and leave her there rather than have her share the day with us. She was massively overtired, but is quite good at her monster routine of late, even when not so.

Have just spent 1.5hrs trying to put together a table, a chair and a stool that I bought today in Ikea, and failing miserably at all bar the table (which I did fail at at first) .

Can't decide what to do with myself tomorrow. Dd is at school summer scheme from 9am-3:30pm.

Phoenix · 15/07/2008 21:30

for sleeping ds Jas.

We had a small carry on from ds tonight but he's had no sleep at all and been running around the park with dh this afternoon so the crying didn't last too long before he sparked out

Hope all is well tomorrow EPPM

Phoenix · 15/07/2008 21:32

Hi csws. Ooooh i love putting furniture together and can do it better than dh. Bring it to me i'll do it

mustrunmore · 15/07/2008 22:43

I was adamant that i wanted to go to aerobics tonight, so we went to the park from 5 till 7pm and ds2 ran round the whole time. It was still touch and go, but he fell asleep literally at the last moment in the buggy, on the junction where we had to choose aerobics or home! I've taken them both awake twice before, but its sooo much easier if he's asleep. Ds1 is fine joining in.

So, I feel huge, bitchy, miserable, and appear to have tummy ache 10 days before period due. Do you think I'm going to have am early menopause or something? I was early last month too, and in a foul mood

Mind you, I have to admit that I rather enjoyed dh being on nights last night, and prob will like tonight too Not that I dont adore him. But it was so nice to have the bed to myself, and the house to myself once the boys were asleep! Change is as good as a rest etc etc.

Phoenix · 15/07/2008 22:53

I love dh been on nights But then hate the 1st night he's back at home in MY bed cos i've been so comfy in bed on my own for 3 nights

mustrunmore · 15/07/2008 23:12

You know the weird thing tho? I was in the house alone (aprt from sleeping kids), but when I got up in the morninig, the loo seat was in the up osition Now, even tired and hazy, I wouldnt have weed sitting on the porcelain bit, so what was that allabout?

Flamesparrow · 16/07/2008 07:48

the hydraulics are broken

Small point though... if you were early last month (probably cos of the cystitis etc), you would be an earlier date this month, unless you mean you were 24 days last, and 20 this....

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 16/07/2008 07:52

Yeah, I mean I would be earlier than early.
Feel like crap this omrniing.
Sure its nothing to do with you Flame; you normally give me all sorts of tummy aches etc when you have them! Pls tell me you're either due on or pg, so I can stop worrying bout myself

Flamesparrow · 16/07/2008 09:56

neither of those (afaik!)... ovulating and a bit constipated (you love it when I share ). My hormones have gone nuts this week though

EachPeachPearMum · 16/07/2008 13:30

Just back from hosp (3 hours!!!)
Baby is fine- they now think my EDD is 21/01- so that makes me 13 weeks today.
We were surprised as it looked quite well developed (we could actually tell what we were looking at this time) and was kicking its legs, and waving its arms around- very cute. DH had a broad grin on his face the whole time
The consultant thinks I will be fine with mostly midwife-led care- my heart condition is v minor, and she seemed impressed by how much I knew about it, and its management (my MIL is a cardiac technician), so thats good news I think.

Hopefuly the nausea will go soon- though it is strongly linked to how tired I am- it seems to kick in around 8pm, telling me to go to bed!
