Me going away is fine, tis just the extra bodies in the house with an already overloved by DS kitten that is the issue

atm though petrol prices are meaning I am going nowhere during the holidays bar the trip to Wales!

Flame tell me about it petrol crippling

CSWS I am sooooo dense sometimes sorry! in the words of Homer 'DOH!'
(Simpson of course!)

MRM ouch, hope the RFL went ok and your drinking Londons supply on Cranberry juice dry.

Have stuff to bore you with, but it can wait till tomorrow I'm v tired, busy day! so hope your all ok girls, have a Happy Monday Morning, if you think its a bad one, think of me on the mway to Leeds.....

Jas · 22/06/2008 23:13

Absolutely agree re crippling petrol prices....I really wish I'd turned down the France holiday We just can't afford it, and it is too late to back out now, so we'll have to go and pretend it is ok.

We did cheap swimming agai today and a lovely (free) park, so everyone is happy.

Ds was put to bed in bed, and climbed into cot to go to sleep tonight. He is slowly getting used to it though....no tears at least.

mustrunmore · 23/06/2008 13:16

Would love to see you Jas, but only have Tues morn or Thurs morn fre I think. Any good? And do you want to waste your petrol on me?!

rfl was a disaster had to walk the whole first km because somehow alot of walkers got in ahead of the runners, so it was total bottleneck , and at a few othr points. And I was in pain. So I didi the same time as last year ire no improvement, even thought I thought I'd been doing alot omore exercise this year

Had to abandon ds2 with a friend when we get back, and leg it to boots to get medicine. This is the worst I've ever had it; lots of blood etc. Sorry if Tmi!

Jas · 23/06/2008 15:31

Mrm.I don't think comparing times is fair, as you had the bottleneck problem, plus illness on your part.
@ cystitis!

Can I pop over Thursday morning? (Won't be wasting petrol, as I'll go to mothercare and get ds' feet measured, plus maybe Ikea on the way home)

Flamesparrow · 23/06/2008 17:45

I agree - comparing times is just silly!

You are more than welcome any other time during the holidays - you do know that don't you???

Argh for blood though! I have only had cystitis bad enough to treat once, and it was 3 days before I was going to Glastonbury for the first time. thankfully the treatment was quick.

Ooh - we're done with nappies btw!!! (not at night, as much as he is trying to convince me!!)

Pants the last 3 days, 4 accidents in total - one when he ran away from me when I was finding the potty and he fell down a hill, and one where he got his shorts down but not his pants in time (took himself to the loo).

Very proud and relieved how easy it has been since he decided he was ready (rather than since he got stroppy with nappies )

for your disappointment with rfl mrm, but given the problems, you obviously would have been quicker if they hadn't been there, so your training has helped.

Not so sunny today (until late afternoon) so we went to see some butterflies, and had a long sleep this afternoon. Dd is thus running around in the bar with us now, to avoid the dramas we've had at the last few bedtimes.

mustrunmore · 23/06/2008 20:28

Would be lovely to see you thurs jas; we are here til 12.30 to take ds1 to nursery, if you cant remember his timings. I have to make a bloody cake for the school fyer; tthinking of uyou rememned me! Will do it Fri morn, but am so tempted to not bother getting the boys invlved

Aerobics was hell tonight; did 20 mins then started to feel like my insides were falling out But carried on.

I need macca back for som free personal traininig advice.

Jas · 23/06/2008 22:18

Oooh. I just made a LDC. Haven't made one for ages, but had loads of eggs to use up, and it is very nice

I constantly forget your timings mrm. I'll miss toddler group and leave straight from school,so should be with you by 9.45/10 ish.

I've given up on the bed for now, but will still offer the choice. DS has made it very clear he doesn't want to give up his cot

mustrunmore · 24/06/2008 09:48

Thinkin I'll just do flapjacks!

Flamesparrow · 24/06/2008 14:03

I'd just make it after the kdis were in bed. I;m mean though.

Have period pains from hell

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 24/06/2008 21:13

Ah, so its your fault I know have tummy ache on top of everything else you do this to me all the time!

EachPeachPearMum · 24/06/2008 22:00

you 2 sound in a bad way!
mrm- for cystitis- sounds horrific- hope it is easing now. I had it, but never with blood, thank goodness. How you did rfl at the same time I don't know!

Well- scan was ok- saw heartbeat, but basically we have to go back in 2 weeks, as not as pg as I thought I was (again!) and they couldn't get decent pictures. I have a really long cycle though, so ho hum. EDD is now 25th jan.... so ages off.

mustrunmore · 25/06/2008 08:55

ah, so it might come on my birthday

Cystitis is back; took the full bottle of stuff and was improving, but I guess I shouldve got 2 bottle to be sure, as have now had a day without and am nearly back at square one

EachPeachPearMum · 25/06/2008 12:14

is it not a GP job? sounds like its a full-blown uti...

Jas · 25/06/2008 12:33

It does sound pretty awful I've never even heard of otc stuff for cystitis tbh, but I'd be off to the drs today if it were me.

EPPM. It is lovely to see that heartbeat, and this way you get an extra look. Mch better to have your dates adjusted now, than when you are 9 months and ridiculously overdue because they got them wrong.

DS is talking loads more now. Other people are noticing and understanding him now

EachPeachPearMum · 25/06/2008 13:00

Jas- I love the talking! Its so random, and funny!
DD is currently talking about her holiday all the time- 'Going on holiday! Going to go swimming! Going to the beach! Going to sit on a fence!' not sure about the last one darling!
She is also insistent that we're going on a barge???
She tells me all about her day at work when I get home each evening too- it sounds lovely there, because they have magazines and beds for naps after lunch I could do with a workplace like that!

mustrunmore · 25/06/2008 16:37

Are you coming tomorrow for def then Jas?

Got more medicine, and if nothing else it tastes better than the last stuff!!

Hey Friz, I ned n up to date weight from you , so I can compare accurately when I tell you this week, as I pressured myself into! Am I gonna have to wait another 6 weeks for it??!!

Jas · 25/06/2008 17:03

Yes.

mustrunmore · 26/06/2008 08:19

Good

I have made 1/2dozen flapjacks and a dozen banana/kiwi tarts this morninig. That should do for my fayre contribution, as long as ds1 doesnt see them and eat them

Got to wash my hair before Jas arrives as I look like a scarecrow.

Jas · 26/06/2008 08:29

Just washed my hair!

Will leave after school run, to visit mrm the domestic godess.

EachPeachPearMum · 26/06/2008 09:15

Hah- hair washing done here too!

erm- mrm- WHAT time do you get up????
Baking finished by 8:19? You are an uber-mum!
In EPPM household, we are all currently eating breakfast (cereals, so non-prepared)

Jas · 26/06/2008 09:38

Leaving now.

mustrunmore · 26/06/2008 09:51

lol at domestic goddess!! I am the most slovenly person I know! But we do get up early. Today was a lie in, as dl was back, so he gave dh a lift to work, so they didnt ned to leave till 6,30am. So ds2 woke up 6am when dh got up, ds1 didnt get out of his pit till 8. Which was good for getting things done, bad for bedtime tonight.
