aww bless EPPM

Flame well done to dh, there are loads of people being laid off up here, so very good news for you guys. (Capital one firing half the staff in Nottm and have just heard on news that Imperial Tobacco another local place laying off 200 people, plus all the house building co's have laid off, my dad's phone hasn't stopped ringing with people looking for work....eeek)

CSWS hope dd isn't screaming for you tonight

Jas at ss and the videos, dd2 likes to pile her books on the bed, look at the pictures and then fall asleep amongst them

Jas · 20/06/2008 08:02

The dds still do the sleeping surrounded by books thing (plus the pile of clean clothes they are supposed o put away)
I gave up and ds was back in the cot from 10. He was asleep before I got to the bottom of the stairs.

Flamesparrow · 20/06/2008 17:30

I'd say give up on the bed until you have to bend him in the cot to sleep.

We finally have an audiology appointment!!!! 2nd July

Frizbe · 20/06/2008 18:47

yay for appt Flame

Jas I read that as asleep at the bottom of the stairs 1st off then I re read lol.

Quiet without csws innit!!

So girls are playing in garden here, suppose I should get them ready for bed in a mo, just having a quick coffee and an online natter 1st, as once dh is back soon with ss, I will be forced into the land of big brother......

So what do you all have planned for the weekend?

I'm working Sat am as usual, then pm will get food for week, then if weather is good, we have a mates bbq to go to in the evening after work is finished, its a bit of a trek to get there (not local) but will go,as don't see mate often enough as it is!
Sunday meeting a mate for coffee in am, then dd1 has 3 mates round pm, which should be fun hoping its not raining, so the garden can be used! (dh working all day Sunday)

EachPeachPearMum · 20/06/2008 19:50

We have no plans, but thats nothing new!

for appt Flame- glad it came through.

Jas · 21/06/2008 09:29

For appt Flame

I"d quite like to give up on the bed, but when they move into their new room, there isn't room for the cot so I'm doing it now while I've got the option of putting him back in the cot.

He got in and went to sleep at 7.30 again last night, but when I came in at 10.30 (shopping) all three were up watching videos and I ended up putting him back in the cot for a quick result.

Todays plan was park with the dc all day today but it is raining and I'm not sure if I can face it in the rain. We need to get out somewhere though so I may just have to get wet.

Quiet without mrm, too....

Flamesparrow · 21/06/2008 10:16

I'd just leave it until they change room, then it is new room, new bed.

Not sure about plans here... I thought it was meant to be dry today, but it seems not.

There is a dragon thing going on down the beach (I think that is what they were measuring for CSWS), and Poole Quay have a pirate day. A bit about the pirate thing - got a text from stepmum saying about it, and thought "Oooh, a family outing thing!" (rare)... then she told me to google for more information

Might text dad and see if he is about today anyway. Kids need to get out - they are driving DH insane. He still isn't 100%. I'm round the edges of a cold and a period. We're an absolute joy to be around.

Weather is lovely here today. I'm sitting in glorious sunshine by the pool right now!!

Yay for appointment flame.

Your scan is this week isn't it EPPM?

mustrunmore · 21/06/2008 11:00

Hello. I'm kind of here (and not at all jealous of your sun csws) but just having some RL I have been lurking, but have nothing valuable to contribute, as everything thats in my head at the moment is absloutely non-discussible IYSWIM.
Ds2 had his visit to nursery; one more net week with me, then he starts one morning a week the following week (closed for hols, but it secured him a place for september onwards). Am doing Weds, so once he is settle and ds1 is on full days in reception (a month after starting), I can go to aerobics

Flamesparrow · 21/06/2008 11:04

You're alive!!!

mustrunmore · 21/06/2008 19:18

Why did I decide to plod round London with 2 kids, no buggy, no napppies, no nap... the day before my RFL? Am knackered and not at all focussed!

Flamesparrow · 21/06/2008 19:25

Oops!

Spent a looooooooooovely afternoon with Amphibimum - ignoring kids and then playing with them in hot tub . DS seems to have finally sussed this wee thing! Only one accident, and the rest of the time ran to the toilet when he needed it rather than me asking!!!

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 21/06/2008 19:26

hot tub

ds2 managed onw wee before gettin on tube, noaccidents all day, until we got back home!

Frizbe · 21/06/2008 20:18

Good luck with RFL tomorrow MRM although why you treked round town with the mob in tow today is anyones guess.

Great weather forecast for tomorrow 'rare gales' nice!

CSWS bet you're laughing your socks of at our weather have a nice drink of something cool and alcoholic for me won't ya.

Flame Pirate day sounds cool did ya make it? am pondering if some other people I know in Poole made it too???

Flamesparrow · 21/06/2008 20:20

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 21/06/2008 20:33

Frizbe, I'm going to weigh myself necxt Friday for the Frizbe-comparison, I've decided. And i WILL tell you. It should panic me into action!

Jas · 22/06/2008 08:21

Good luck with your RFL mrm

Sun is shining here (for now) so we will go out. I discovered yesterday that our swimming pool is training instructors, and needs children to practice on, so the dds got an hour lesson each yesterday, and will be having the same today....£1 a child!

mustrunmore · 22/06/2008 09:08

Oh ffs. So, went out a bit last night, got home, went to bed, lay down, got back up for a wee, and another, and another, realised I have the worst most painful cystitis ever Interesting run today, seeing if I can actually last 5km without needing the toilet. Why is life never straightforward with me?!

(Flame, can I come see you second half of Aug, now that we wonr bew using it as potty traininig time? Please?)

Jas · 22/06/2008 10:13

Oh, dear
Hope it goes ok.

Would you be up for a visitor next week mrm?I have car and petrol, and should make use of it while I can...

Flamesparrow · 22/06/2008 12:16

I hope your run goes ok with the cystitis!

2nd half of august could be a problem... Boy is off work, we're going to Wales for a bit, and then we're getting a kitten and settling it in

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 22/06/2008 20:25

How did RFL go mrm? Hope the cystitis didn't make it too difficult.

Flame - does your last post mean that you don't want to stay with me after Warwick any more, but only before? Still no idea what's going on in August, but good to get requests sorted now!

Friz - of course I won't be having something alcoholic for you dopey. I am pregnant remember .

EPPM - no spreadsheet this time, unless you count my brain acting like one! Just remembered that it was whilst I was away. Good luck with it.
