GL Jas!
I have to say, 3 nights in, and she is dropping off MUCH quicker than she ever did with the bars on!

Chloe- how are you feeling now?
Did all the aches/pains go with af?

Frizbe · 16/06/2008 19:49

Good luck with the bed Jas, what a strange co-incidence with the winnings too

MRM yay for the good ache and huzzah for the getting rid of nappies

at Flame and CSWS having a lovely afternoon. Which reminds me, we've cancelled our holiday Flame, so won't be able to pop and see you end of July too much work on up here and we still can't quite afford any staff yet (but we can pay ourselves a wage without worry, so this is good)

EPPM yay for getting rid of bars

Is it just me, or are everyones kids getting up at 5am this week? too damn light! even with blackout curtains....

I have to go and choose school clothes with dd1 at her new school tomorrow, yikes, very grown up!

Sorry if I'm sounding manic, I think I am a bit that way today, must try and slow down.

Frizbe · 16/06/2008 20:04

oh did someone ask about the damn tap? it seems to have split from the weld up the back of the tap, which is then covered in white plastic stuff over top, seems the white stuff has eventually rotted thru, as that has perished sideways as well??? just another pap thing in our rubbishly put together house, sigh.

Jas · 16/06/2008 20:21

I had to wake the dds up this morning at 8

DS spent an hour crying and now the dds are up there entertaining him I hope he gets used to it soon.
He almost always went to sleep in under 10 mins in the cot.

Jas · 16/06/2008 22:37

By 10o/c dd2 was asleep and ds was emptying the bookcase, so he is back in his cot (straight to sleep)

I'm going to try the bed at bedtimes, and put him in the cot at 8 when dd2 goes up from now on until he starts getting used to it

Flamesparrow · 17/06/2008 09:52

Frizbe - Nooooooooooooooo! I was planning a bbq n stuff

Eek for your bed/cot issue Jas.

Emrys went through 5 nappies last night - taking them off when he wees I am ordering fleece blankets today - they can both be nappy free at night and I will just change sheets.

You know- even though we took the bars off, she doesn't seem to realise that she can actually get out of bed herself! She still lies there crying for Mama every morning!

Fell out of bed twice last night though poor thing. Was giggling the first time but she seemed to be having lovely dreams (was def asleep)

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/06/2008 20:12

Bonjour! Just a quickie as v cold sitting outside at the bar to use the wi-fi.

Horse is having a lovely holiday flame .

EachPeachPearMum · 17/06/2008 20:16

Did dd steal something?

Flamesparrow · 17/06/2008 20:18

lol - I told her that it was ok, it meant we would have to come see you

How is the weather? Hope you've had some nice sun so far!

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/06/2008 20:32

Just about sunny enough to go to the beach today, but not fantastic. I am a wimp who feels the cold and should have brought more warm clothes!

Would have logged off by now, but can't work out how to disconnect from network, and get charged for time spent online, so getting a bit frustrated!

EachPeachPearMum · 17/06/2008 20:40

Oh dear! There's usually a disconnect on the same window you used to connect....

Hope it warms up a bit.

Frizbe · 17/06/2008 23:38

Hope it warms up too CSWS and your not getting charged a fortune for still being connected.

Flame, sorry..... we really wanted the holiday too, but things are picking up nicely and we'll bugger it all up if we take a week off now and close the shop, if people find you closed they tend not to come back. Next year??? if dd1 hasn't gone off to live in Paris by then, as she keeps harping on about it, is really winding dh up

Jas, your a Godsend, what ever you said on here worked, no one woke till 8am this morning!!

EPPM dd2 does that too, lies in bed yelling for me or dh

So found out dd2 has a 'boyfriend' today, by the name of Henry, according to Henrys mum dd2 is the subject of his affections, he's forever rattling on about her, thinks she's cute Henry himself is a curly haired angelic blonde, so I don't think she's done too badly there

dd1 was fun at school though..... I was the mother with the screaming child the one who wouldn't go with her startled friends down to the classroom to meet her new buddy, then come back with said buddy to try on the uniform Still on the plus side, her screaming shut up all the other whingy kids and they legged it to the classroom, abandoning their parents and I to the fate of listening to dd1's trying it on screaming She eventually did go, after 10 mins and some reverse psychology from the head (you can't go now, you have to stay with mummy) which soon got her begging to go, gah, why me She was fine when we got there, and she already does ballet there Her two very good friends who are also going there were gobsmacked at her sudden paddy, as were the mothers, sigh.

Jas · 18/06/2008 20:16

csws -I hope you are no still online and the sun comes out for you.

DS is asleep in his bed

He only lasted 20 mins last night before he fell out, and nothig could persade him ack in, but tonight he got in and went off himself (after emptying the book case onto the floor.)

Flamesparrow · 18/06/2008 20:34

Exhausted, will catch up later. Just wanted to let you know that DH kept his job

Hurrah - did they get rid of Clive?

Weather improving here, and all going well except dd's screaming for half the night last night .

EachPeachPearMum · 19/06/2008 20:20

Well- now we know who does all the talking on this thread!

Was confused by clive comment- he is DD's bathtime whale!

Was there a reason for dd screaming? I mean a rational one, of course...

Jas · 19/06/2008 20:21

Hello.

I'm here, but don't want to talk to myself

DS is busy throwing videos down the stairs.Looks like last night was a fluke.

CantSleepWontSleep · 19/06/2008 20:33

If there was then she wasn't sharing it EPPM!

My advice is live in a caravan Jas - no stairs and no videos. Helpful?

Logging off in a tick. Well, turning off my wireless connection, which seems to be the way to disconnect, as no log off screen for network.

EachPeachPearMum · 19/06/2008 21:05

Hi Jas! I imagine videos are pretty noisy when they come down stairs!

DD is doing okay in her bed- she managed not to fall out once last night! though she did wail for me around 3 because her duvet was on the floor- gah!

She is definitely not completely happy though, as she looked at me just before her bath and said 'want bars back on Mama'- aw bless.
