Flame

My eye is red and swollen No idea why.

EachPeachPearMum · 11/06/2008 22:06

Dare I suggest infection from cleaning up vomiting diarrheoing ds?

ohyesanamechange · 11/06/2008 22:15

DS poked DD in the eye in the top bunk, whilst layuing on the floor... maybe his magic extending finger reached you

ohyesanamechange · 11/06/2008 22:15

pmsl - anonymity is overrated...

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/06/2008 22:20

pmsl - just checked the reason for the name change. Bit of a theme with your threads for today .

for eye.

ohyesanamechange · 11/06/2008 22:20

nyeh.

MRM has had whole texts of me whinging ADs have had an effect on not just my mood....

EachPeachPearMum · 11/06/2008 22:28

Well- I'm sure its a good sign

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/06/2008 22:38

lol. And where on earth has mrm got to? Has she deserted us for 'better' things?

mustrunmore · 12/06/2008 06:59

I'm here. Kinda. Got alot going on, some good some bad.
Have been trying to keep up though.
Potty training. Yuck.
Friend is having crisis even bigger than Flame's usual level of drama

Can I just gloat though and say I am officially only 1 st 5lbs overweight now, having lost 5lbs It was total total fluke/one off/style, but I also bought a pair of jeans in a size 12 yesterday!!!! (ignoring belly hanging over top)

Flame, I forgot to tell you your stick is now hanging on my bedrron wall Long story1

Flamesparrow · 12/06/2008 15:39

I want to know the crisis still

You reply on my thread MRM but don't give me any titles Ooh ooh - go get Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse - you'll love them! (Not sex, just vampires and charismatic men)

Urgh for potty training. we're being very hit n miss with it.

My world is getting more surreal by the day. 2 weeks ago I hadn't spoken to ex since a brief chat on my hen night. Now I am talking to him on facebook, he is in my phone, and coming to fit my cd player in the next few days . I am in a very weirdy time warp. I think DH is ok with it all. I need to ask him outright (I know he is ok with the cd player fitting, but not sure about the facebook chats), but will wait until after the cd is sorted . I'm scared he will say he does have a problem, and I'll lose my friend again.

Frantically trying to tidy the house for Saturday. Tis not going well due to the amazing non-sleeping Flameboy, and my newly rediscovered sex drive .

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/06/2008 16:09

Yay for weight loss/size 12.

As long as you mop up the spunk pools it'll be tidy enough for me .

Flamesparrow · 12/06/2008 16:12

EachPeachPearMum · 12/06/2008 16:14

I thought you were a classy laydee csws...

How wrong can I be?

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/06/2008 16:25

Hey. It's not me shagging all night long and then blaming a poor defenceless 2 year old for the fact that I've only had 2 hours' sleep.

Flamesparrow · 12/06/2008 16:29

lmao!!!! I could have happily coped on the 6 hours I would have had if he had co-operated

He woke up just now, body hot but head normal, hideous breath... methinks he was squalling for a reason

Hello

We lost our internet for a few days again but it seems to be back now Dh rang Sky and they said they are carrying work out on our area, to make all the internet connections better, from June 4th - 14th. A phone call or a letter to tell us this would have been nice

csws - I put some clothes in the washer with by new black 3/4 trousers the other day and turned all my stuff grey so i could have told you the dye remover stuff doesn't work .

for sunburn chloe and ds' UTI Jas.

for AD's Flame

I got a phonecall from my friend from work this morning saying our boss died last night . I'm very shocked he's only 42 with a small son. He was fine at work yesterday apparantly (i'm still on leave) but went into a diabetic coma last night

EachPeachPearMum · 12/06/2008 20:43

phoenix- thats so young, and so sudden, how sad for his family and friends.

Frizbe · 12/06/2008 22:52

Phoenix, that is so young his poor family.

So, we've been rather busy. Here's what we've been upto, don't suppose anyone can summarize the last two weeks for me?

Made it through 3 nights and 4 days in Mallorca, was v wet when we arrived, but it pulled it round during the afternoon and was good weather for rest of our time there.
Spent it mainly between pool, which was freezing (dd2 refused to get in, and exclaimed how warm it was yest at swimming ) beach and sea, which was nice, bar the one time we went to a different beach and a stuffing jelly fish, got through the nets, and stung dd1 , so I ended up in the chemist, waving dd1's inflating knee at the chemist, not knowing the Spanish for Jellyfish we got cream that did the trick, phew. The kids liked the hotel, as it had a kids disco, so it was fun to see them both doing a conga after a person in a panda suit and dancing to all the usual dodgy kids clubs songs. The low point was the flight back, 2 hrs of dd2 sitting next to me, on a night flight, saying constantly the following, Dr Who, Monsters, Buzzy Bees, on total repeat....this was brought on by dh letting her watch it the previous week, and then her spotting Dr Who in the inflight magazine
Since we got back, I got a whole day at home (read work) before I got shipped to Wales, minus kids, to run the LARP event for the weekend, which thankfully the ref's had well under control So I did vague organising and hit lots of people then came back to house, that dh had ignored for the weekend, whilst he ran shop and marshalled 3 kids. I'd just gotten the downstairs straight by end of yest. The driveway just got finished tonight, then I've gone into kitchen a few mins ago, to find bizzarely the mixer tap, has split down the back and is shooting jets of water out of the back of it, when I turn the tap on, and merely trickling water out of it, when its not This house will soon have been totally replaced

So how have you all been?

Flamesparrow · 13/06/2008 07:49

PG

I am exhausted just reading that Friz!!! I have been posting sporadically, so have sod all idea what has been going on.

I am now on ADs and have my sex drive back... everyone (including DH) is getting fed up with it

OP posts:
Chloe55 · 13/06/2008 11:11

of your sex drive Flame, I desperately need to find mine again (it has gone walk about for quite some time though and hoping it does eventually return at some point!)

Friz - shame about the weather, it's been bloody gorgeous here - my mum has been in Menorca and she has more or less had rain for the whole week, it sucks when you pay out for a holiday and don't get the weather - sounds like you still had a fun time though.

MRM - I'm intrigued about the crisis too!

Pg - how about your boss, did you know him well?

CSWS - I nearly wet myself when I read your spunk comment!! Haven't heard that word used in ages

EPPM - hope you are beginning to feel a little better now.

Frizbe · 13/06/2008 21:12

at you Flame, go girl!

Jas, have read down thread a bit and sorry to hear your ds has been poorly

MRM hurrah for size 12 jeans, see your loads skinnier than me

CSWS good news about you only having to test every other day

EPPM sorry to hear MW being a git, what a pita, hope things chill out a bit for you.

So what you all upto this weekend then? anyone doing anything nice for fathers day? I'm working, dh is spending it with the kids, then we have a bbsitter Sun eve, so we can whiz out and watch Hulk!
dd1 won £50 on the premium bonds today too nice surprise for her bank balance.

Frizbe · 13/06/2008 21:13

Chloe sorry your mum had a pap rainy holiday its a shame when you pay out eh (I didn't for ours, all my dad's treat )

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/06/2008 21:38

How sad about your boss Phoenix. Diabetics do have to be so careful, but I'm sure it's quite rare for such a thing to happen out of the blue.

Should have pissed on the jellyfish sting Friz - best thing for them! (Am I doing my posh credentials more good EPPM? )

We will be spending Father's Day in the car Friz, driving through France to our holiday destination. Weather forecast doesn't look all that good for next week, but you can keep track of it here should you feel so inclined.

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/06/2008 21:39

Oh, and spare a thought for Kel everyone - she and 'Chard' have split up .
