Vhs player - car boot!
Stereos - depends what they are.

hotmama · 06/06/2008 12:18

Hello ladies! My once in a blue moon posting.

I had my CVS yesterday and got the results this morning - chromosome count is fine.

So as of today I am officially expecting dc3! (At 41 - what am I thinking)

Hope everyone is fine and your dc's are giving you hours of amusement (or something along those lines)

(sorry no emoticons - long story involving dd1 - a drink - and a keyboard - dp was supervising - enough said!)

Chloe55 · 06/06/2008 13:17

Congrats Hotmama

Well I think we can officially say I am not pregnant! AF has come properly today with a vengeance. Strangely, I am in so much of a better mood today despite being all crampy - I think things were worrying more than I thought. I am putting the delay in AF down to stress, it is def not an early miscarriage anyway. Kinda at the prospect of def not being able to try for another now until at least mid-end of next year what with needing to get established in childminding and not being entitled to stat mat pay/benefit until then etc but kinda relieved that I am not pg if that makes sense?

Flamesparrow · 07/06/2008 12:00

and for you Chloe

Yay HM

MRM - I have no credit, i'm not ignoring you I didn't quite understand the preschool/school text though

Wedding was last night and the saga with the ex continues... I may have some random strange woman hunting me down to kill me It turns out she went into his facebook account (bloody moron's password reminder question was so easy I think even DH knew the answer!), read his messages from me - which was us discussing him leaving her (it was a moral support kind of thing)... so she then started yelling at him that he was leaving her for me!?!?!?! He tried to explain why that was complete madness, but she isn't convinced. DH & him tolerated each other at the wedding, really really bizarre night, bride looked fabulous though, and my dress turned out ok - will put up pics in a bit.

Dunno what we're doing about the whole friendship thing. Will see how it goes.

DS is sunburnt I let him wander about naked all day with NappiesGalore on Thursday - didn't realise how much sun there was.

EachPeachPearMum · 07/06/2008 19:46

eek Flame! What a wedding!
We went to the park today without a hat too- was really dull when we set off, and hadn't banked on dd sitting on the swings for 30 mins in full sunshine.
She seems okay so far though- you are much further south than us

Ah- I guess Teuch never has to worry about such things as sun....

Phoenix · 07/06/2008 23:59

Hello

We're back from camping (came home Thurs) and had a good time. If anyone's interested there's pics on my profile or Facebook

Just got back from a family party and i'm a tad drunk after not drinking for 3 week but we had a really good time

and chloe you know what is best for you but {{{hugs}}} anyway.

EachPeachPearMum · 08/06/2008 14:33

Phoenix- looks like you had a great time!
Where is your table/bench thingy from?
Tent looks great- big, but not mahoosive, and it looks like weather was ok after all

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/06/2008 18:29

Great news on CVS hotmama, and on period finally arriving Chloe.

Where have all your pics gone flame? Looked at your profile expecting to see extra ones and they've nearly all gone!

Holiday looks good Phoenix, but I was struggling to spot the ensuite bathroom .

Phoenix · 08/06/2008 20:13

EPPM - Go Outdoors have one similar to ours. Think we got it from there anyway.

We've got a portaloo csws so we could have an en suite if we could fit it in the car

Fogot to say in my drunken state last night great news Hotmama

We've spent all afternoon at Trace2's house having a BBQ and sunbathing. We've had a really good day and Lew loved playing in the paddling pool with her ds.

Jas · 08/06/2008 20:17

Hotmama

Chloe. I hope you've got used to the idea of not being pg yet.

Flame - Glad the new ads are helping
Not sure about your new/old friend. Sounds like more problems than it would be worth tbh.

Phoenix - nice pics, but what is the orange thing on ds' head in your garden?

Hope all are well...

DP took all three dc out today, and brought dd1 back sunburnt
I sprayed the other two before he left, but she was already outside and I forgot to chase her.

She turned 9 this week Nightmare party with lots of girls and me the only adult, then no Legoland due to serious lack of funds (we have tokens to get in but no food/petrol money) so I blamed weather/me being ill and postponed.

She has a skeleton hoodie which is an instant favourite, but now means I can't get the one that zips up over your face without looking like matching freaks
I have had a cough for weeks now and am getting very bored of it.

Jas · 08/06/2008 20:19

Oooh the bit about the cough seems to have moved to the bottom of my post

DS has it too, and wakes himself up every night coughing.

Chloe55 · 08/06/2008 20:31

Pg - could you get Lew to sleep in that ITNG blow up bed? Mum got one for Osc but he just won't abide it! Looks like you had a lovely time - you can certainly tell you have lost someweight too, well done

for the cough Jas, dh is feeling the same and I've beenlayed up all today and yesterday with a pigging migraine - I have not been fun to be around the past few weeks, I don't know how dh hasput up with me!! Oh and if most of this comes outwith spaces missing between words it's because ds 'played' with the laptop when I wasn't watching and pulled 1/2 the keys out and I can't fit them all back together! - it's doing my bloody head in!

Flamesparrow · 08/06/2008 20:33

Holiday looks good

Argh for burnt girlie and not being able to have matching hoodies - it does make me feel better that I am not the only one with a burnt child though

And for your party issues. I am soooooooooo pleased that I am done with parties for the year!!!

Things are going from weird to just plain odd here... The ex is going to fit my cd player in the car if I can find the bloody front of it. DH is fine with that .

OP posts:
Phoenix · 08/06/2008 20:47

for burnt dd and cough Jas. That would be a bandana on ds' head

Thanks Chloe, I don't think its true but still thanks Yes ds slept in the ready bed fine. He was so excited having his own little bed.

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/06/2008 21:01

Yay - just bagsed a bargain (IMO) on Ebay, here.

EachPeachPearMum · 08/06/2008 21:36

for bargain- sorry you're fed up!

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/06/2008 21:40

I wondered what you meant then, then finally twigged! Had had about 10 attempts at finding a name that wasn't already taken by then!

EachPeachPearMum · 08/06/2008 21:56

Yeah- it is a pain isn't it?
Sorry- will try not to be so oblique at this time of night!

mustrunmore · 09/06/2008 07:50

Thats great csws! Did nt you get the climbing frame instaed of that trampoline? Even with your garden, there cant be much room left in it now!

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/06/2008 08:22

There'll be even less space when the extension goes up too! We will gain a bit back by knocking down the rose arbour and adjoining raised bed though.

mustrunmore · 09/06/2008 08:55

god, havent even considered extension!

Jas · 09/06/2008 12:43

DS has been crying almost constantly since waking today, so by 10.30 I left work, and took him to the dr, who saw him almost immediately and gave him a full check over

He probably has a urine infection, but wants a sample before prescribing anything, so I'll be following naked boy round all afternoon with a pot.

I'm struggling to get him to drink, but he took a carton of juice once we left the drs so hopefully it will work its way through soon.

Your garden will be absolutley crammed with that swing as well csws It is nice though, and a bargain!

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/06/2008 14:05

for ds Jas. Could you just wring out a nappy for a sample ?

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/06/2008 17:33

This is such an excellent time of day for dd to nap don't you think? One hour 17 mins so far. Votes on what time you think I'll get her to bed please....

Chloe55 · 09/06/2008 17:45

Ds hasn't napped at all today, he asked to go to bed a few minutes ago, I have taken him to bed (he is bathed and bottled now anyway) so I'm hoping he sleeps right through! Don't hold out much hope for dd though CSWS, particularly if she has already been in bed over an hour - good luck!
