Friz - MRM's gone away for a few days

Hope you find out what's happening with your body Chloe

Its our 4 yr wedding anniversary today. Dh is at work though so we're not doing anything exciting, he only called at Asda on his way home to get me a card . Why are men so useless with things like that?

I've got a day off work tomorrow then have to work Saturday , but then got 2 whole weeks off work . We're going camping for 4 nights on Monday. Fingers crossed for good weather

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/05/2008 21:34

Happy anniversary Phoenix.

Flame is fine - she's just too busy to come and tell you all .

Phoenix · 30/05/2008 06:52

5.50am ds was up today

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/05/2008 07:07

6am here, but I was up at 5:50 for a wee!

Phoenix · 30/05/2008 07:25

Why don't they understand when we say 'please go back to sleep, it's very early and mummy is very tired'

Flamesparro · 30/05/2008 08:55

Sorry, been hectic here.

Yes, I went to the doctor and am on ADs

MRM won't reply Friz - she's gone to her mum's for a few days.

Will hopefully catch up on everything later

xx

Happy Anniversary Pg

Flame - hope the AD's kick in soon.

Well, went to doc's this am, bloody burst into tears on her as I am a total emotional wreck at the moment, gave her my symptoms and she basically advised me to wait and see. I explained that I couldn't carry on for another month feeling like this and not knowing why so she flicked back through my history and it came up that a month before I had Osc I was suffering exactly the same symptoms, literally exactly, then miscarried a few days later So she has basically told me to expect the same as I am showing classic pregnancy symtoms but with added sharp shooting pains which has led to previous early miscarriages with me. Now I am fucking scared because I remember what that felt like when it happened and I was in agony. I also lost quite a lot of blood a few months ago when I am pretty sure I had another early miscarriage as I expelled a jelly like sac but that wasn't as painful and I didn't show many pg signs.

Oh God, I can't stop crying, I really don't want to go through that again. I'm scared

Frizbe · 30/05/2008 12:05

Chloe, surely they should send you for a scan though??? to make sure everything is ok, especially with the pains? Rather than just telling you what they think will happen, they should confirm that this is the case surely and {{{{Hugs}}}}}

Ooopse didn't realise MRM was away

CSWS/Phoenix, sorry for the early morning start.

Chloe55 · 30/05/2008 12:10

That's what I thought Friz, she prodded about on my abdomen and I told her it was tender but she said that I needn't go up to the hospital as if something was serious I would be in a lot more pain, and to be fair I'm not in a lot of pain, more discomfort. She told me to go straight to casualty over the weekend if the pain gets stronger or I don't stop bleeding heavily. Not even a suggestion of a blood test though

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/05/2008 12:41

If it is an ectopic pregnancy, then waiting until you're in lots of pain is too late, as that might mean that a tube has ruptured. Really would start a thread on here asking for advice from those who've had ectopics.

that they weren't more helpful.

Flamesparro · 30/05/2008 15:30

O sweetheart

EachPeachPearMum · 30/05/2008 15:50

Oh Chloe {{{hug}}} do they not have an epu you could go to?

Frizbe · 30/05/2008 20:06

Sound advice there CSWS, what a silly Dr you saw this am Chloe, I really do wish they'd all err more on the side of caution, when its something that could be serious like this Hope your ok Chloe.

So what are you all doing this weekend then?

We're off to Majorca on Sunday, with my parents (this is the trip dh isn't going on....) bless them for paying for the girls and me (should that be the girls and I CSWS?) to go though So that's three and a half days in Spain!in (technically) which will hopefully be nice, although Rain is forcast for Sunday....hope its ok, so we can swim for the rest of the hols! Flight check in is 5am though and we get back Thur am at 1.30 ish not such good hours for the girls.....

Hope you all have a nice time anyway, what ever your upto and {{{{BIG HUGS}}}} to you Chloe

Jas · 30/05/2008 21:25

Evening.....

I second the EPU if there is one you can get to Chloe. You can self refer and bypass the daft gp completely.
I do hope you are feeling ok this evening.

Have a lovely time Frizbe (Imagine your sentence without the "and girls" in it to see if it should be me or I.....then go with that - so you were tight with the girls and me.)
My dad and brother have paid for our holiday this year, my contribution hasn't really covered much of it at all, and dp has had no work all week again (he does have something to start Monday, plus work fo a friend of mine after that) so we are currently living on overdraft.

@ADs Flame..... I hope you start to feel a bit more yourself soon.

LOL @ early start on your day off Phoenix. hope you enjoyed your anniversary.

CSWS - I had low placenta with 1 or 2 of mine ( I forget, things are starting to blur) but not a problem as it moved with the pregnancy.
I quite like that you are chosing a name for your son beore he is born. It makes him very real. No one (with manners) will dislike a name for a proper person. I only dislike names in the abstract

A shame we couldn't do it for ours!

I have little planned for the weekend. We've done lots of free stuff/things already paid for so far this week, so a day of playing out won't be bad for the dds.
I may go to Regents park on Sunday. There is something on there (not sure what, I just turn up where I'm told to)but will give it a miss if it rains.

Phoenix · 30/05/2008 21:52

{{{hugs}}} Chloe, I think there's an EPU at Pinderfields Hospital

Phoenix · 30/05/2008 22:04

Chloe - Just googled and i think the EPU is at Pontefract Hospital but there is one somewhere in Wakey for definite

CantSleepWontSleep · 31/05/2008 08:26

Have a fab holiday Friz.

That was a long post for you Jas . lol at you not remembering how many low placentas you had! Can you remember if you had any bleeding when they moved? The (useless) SHO that I saw at the hospital yesterday told me to expect bleeding, and to go in to hospital if/when I have some, and they will admit me until I've gone 24 hrs without any. Seems that they won't actually do anything whilst I'm there, so all sounds a bit pointless! Might start a thread when I can be bothered.

Dd was named around 29 weeks iirc. Did you not find out the sex with any of yours, or were you just indecisive about names? I remember you taking ages to name DS after he was born, so guess he must have been a surprise.

What time were you up this morning Phoenix? 5:50 for us .

Dd used the toilet a couple of times whilst mum was here, and again this morning, so we are def getting close to potty training I think. I will have loads of practical questions, but expect I'll ask them on here rather than in the 'right' section.

Not a lot planned for the weekend here either. We want to go and look at a drive or two done by the company we are hoping to use, so will be off to Hemel for one of them, then swimming and supermarket down there this morning. The other one is in Cheshunt, so if you're not in Regents Park tomorrow Jas then we could descend on you!!

Jas · 31/05/2008 09:45

I didn't find out the sex of the dds, but found out ds at my 36 week scan. We had a girls name for dd1, dd2 was un named for 6 weeks, and you remember Boy

I bled at 13 weeks with dd1 and they blamed low placenta at the time. I think it was noticed in one of the others but no associated bleeding.

Don't expect potty trainin advice from me! Ithink we are probably a year behind most of the rest of you in that dept!

Chloe - Did you find an EP/more helpful dr?

You may not want to visit even if we don't go out tomorrow csws....ds and I have both had a terrible cough for the last week, and last night he had puffy weepy eyes, too He's hppy enough, but I don't really want to share the bug!

Phoenix · 31/05/2008 22:08

Ds slept at my mums last night csws so not up as early, i was up at 7.45 for work though

Where is everyone tonight? Watching tv talent show finals?

for been ill Jas, hope you all feel better soon.

Jas · 31/05/2008 22:24

He seems better today, or at least his eyes seem better. I'm still debating whether to go out or not tomorrow.

DP said he's do a car boot sale tomorrow, then after I'd got a load of stuff outof the loft, deided to put it off til next week....the shed is now full of stuff to sell. I'm not putting it back in the loft now!

CantSleepWontSleep · 31/05/2008 22:39

It's alright Jas - you're safe from a visit. We did the Cheshunt place today as well as the Hemel one .

Jas · 31/05/2008 23:08

Do you like the drives?

DP has gone out with his cousin and drunk too much to drive home, so I get the bed to myself

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/06/2008 06:59

I had the bed to myself too, as dh was coughing too much to share with, so he went to the spare room!

Yes we liked the drives thanks, although dh thinks the colour of one we looked at was a bit too light (it is similar to, but not the actual one that we are intending to have). They were done by this company if you are bored and fancy a browse! We are thinking of cheshire cobble in steadman buff.

Have you ever been to the leisure world pool in Hemel btw? Tis fab for a good play. We were struggling to get dd out even after an hour and a quarter.

Jas · 01/06/2008 07:55

Dn't think 've ver been to Hemel at all.

I struggled to get ds out of the pool here this week, and it is just a box full of water! He loves it, and we very rarely go swimming as I need another adult with me.(and I don't like it very much)

I've looked at all your drives and see why you need to check rl ones. The colour pics aren't really much use.I like the pattern, and low maintenance appeals

I've found where we are going today.I think it is a green festival thing. No idea what there willbe there but it is free and apart from the runny nose,ds desn't seem too bad, so I'm going to chne it.

Only problem is it is my bfs birthday tomorrow, and if I see her today I want to give her something, but I have no inspiration/money, and can't cart cakes round all afternoon.
I'll make a card this morning and think about it a bit.

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/06/2008 08:15

Oh, I was going to suggest giving her some of your lovely flapjack!
