I've read your thread Flame, but have no useful advice. You know real bad mothers wouldn't care, so whatever is going on with dd, it won't be your fault.
I'd chase up the hearing tests if I could though, as that must be complicating things, and if she does have aproblem with her hearing it would be realatively easy to do something about it.

DS got himself stuck in his cot last night while we were out at the circus (enjoyed by all)....my mum found him suspended like a bridge across the cot-feet on one side, head on the other, holding on and unable to get down! No idea what he thought he was doing.
