There

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Frizbe · 13/05/2008 10:46

and none of you posted on here at all last night????
What's wrong with you all?

Jas · 13/05/2008 11:08

I'm not really getting online much in the evenings atm, and still findi it difficult to come up with anything much to talk about during the day.

DS has finally realised he can get out of the buggy straps, and now every time I stop moving he gets outand does a runner.

Absolutely no signs that it is worth even considering potty training here, pretty much as I was expecting.

EachPeachPearMum · 13/05/2008 13:01

Sorry- we have been watching Heroes series 1 that our friend lent us on DVD. Last week we watched Prison Break series 1.

When you haven't watched television in 2 1/2 years it all seems so amazing! Such a sensory experience- haven't had much time for posting.

Wish I could say I've been spending it in the garden

mustrunmore · 13/05/2008 16:39

I'm not here much because i'm not happy
Am bad parent
Am bad wife
Am feeling ill
Am huge
Am unfit
Am currently messing up very important friendship
Am never satisfied with what I have

Thibk that covers it really

Jas · 13/05/2008 17:37

Oh mrm
I could contradict you on most of those statements (no idea what kind of wife you are!)but I guess if that is how you feel it won't really help.

You can always come here and moan....it will distract me from my own misery at least!

Flame · 13/05/2008 19:02

Another one contradicting!

With the friendship, please just stop

Diary is upstairs and DH is asleep in there so not wanting to wake him to get it

mustrunmore · 13/05/2008 20:24

Its not that Flame. Dont worry.

Ta Jas. Would come and see you if tyou diidnt live in such a hard place to get to by public ransport, or if I hadd someone to take ds1 to nursery and back. I am appalling as a wife btw, was much better as just an 'other half'. Think alot to do with the shift in balance since I became SAHM blah blah.

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/05/2008 20:29

Oops - thought I was in post-natal but seem to have stumbled upon a 'feeling depressed' thread by mistake .

Didn't realise you'd stopped working with your friend Jas. How come no cake baking?

Life here just revolving around getting to grips with the diabetes, so not a lot else to talk about I'm afraid.

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/05/2008 20:30

How is job searching going mrm?

Jas · 13/05/2008 22:25

My work stppped bafore Chrstmas when she got ill, and never started again. No cakes as she makes more selling on shop bought ones

DS has s far climbed up and come very close to smashing an ornament I know is treasured by her dh(in a cabinet on top shelf) and dismantled her gas fire, in adition to the usual eating of cat food and sitting in puddles in the garden, so I may not be working for long.

CSWS- tell us about the diabetes then. How is the finger pricking going? And the diet?

Lets make meet up plans, that would cheer me up at least

Summer piss up anyone?
Warwick?
1/2 term?

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/05/2008 22:38

All the diabetes stuff is on here, but feel free to chat about it on here or there if you like .

This was Phoenix's list of dates that she has off, so could make a meet up on:

July

Thurs 3rd
Fri 11th
Sat 19th
Mon 21st
Tues 29th

Aug

Weds 6th
Thurs 14th
Fri 22nd
Sat 30th
Mon 1st Sept

Could everyone make weekend piss up the last weekend in August, as she has 3 days in a row off then (should be long enough to recover from her hangover ), and hopefully the building work here will be largely complete (she said optimistically ). Can't remember what anyone else said re dates.

Jas · 13/05/2008 23:28

I will be on my way back from France the last Sat in August, probablt not fit fr anything on the Sunday either

Jas · 13/05/2008 23:43

I've added a watchto your thread but I'll keep asking here instead I thinkGlad the finger picking is going ok

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/05/2008 07:20

Actually, I think Phoenix said that she could always travel down after work on a Saturday (like last time), so those dates are probably more pertinent to Warwick.

What date do you go away Jas?

Or we could try for w/e of 6th Sept, if it's not going to be a mad panic weekend of getting stuff ready for school?! Daren't go any later than that with this baby likely to be born early.

Jas · 14/05/2008 07:48

We'reonly away fr a week, so we leaveon 23rd. Mine will already be bak at schoolby 6 Sep, but as it is a Sat, I could still do itI think.

Phoenix · 14/05/2008 07:53

Yes the piss up I can do anytime, like you said csws, as i can travel down after work

it doesn't look like it's going to be very sunny today. Typical as it's my day off . We're off to toddlers at 9.30 then i'm waiting in all afternoon for someone to come pick up a pushchair i sold. What's everyone else up to?

Phoenix · 14/05/2008 07:59

I put a couple of new pictures on my profile of ds playing out in the sun at the weekend

mustrunmore · 14/05/2008 08:31

Dates depend what kind of meet up. Cant do 1st 2 weeks of Auguast anyway. After that, if its adults only thats fine, as ds2 will be at home gettin potty trained. The July dates I'll have kids with me for all, and nursery still on for the early ones. The last week of July, ds1 has a swimmming course in the morninig, but done by 10.30am I think.

So. Last night I found some clothes I fit back into. But only because dh completely vetoed the skirt I wanted to wear on our night out this Friday. He wants me to wear my noraml jeans

Jas · 14/05/2008 08:42

Work this am, then shopping, then tea and cakes at my friends house....Oh the thrilling life I lead!

Clothes that fi is good, mrm What is wrong with the skirt apart from dh ot liking it?

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/05/2008 09:01

Lovely pics Phoenix.

How about 21st July for Warwick? That's crap for Dame isn't it, as she's due a few days afterwards. Bugger. Still, she'd be close to home if she went into labour .

Jas - life doesn't have to be a thrill a minute. What would you do if you could?
I have toddler group this morning, and getting my eyebrows done whilst dd is at school this afternoon, and then doing housework. Have reflexology this evening, so won't even be on the live Apprentice thread!

Surely it's good that you found some clothes you fit back into mrm?

Phoenix · 14/05/2008 09:03

How is dd doing at school csws?

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/05/2008 09:05

Good thanks Phoenix. She rarely tells me what she's done, except play in the garden, but her clothes often confirm that she's been painting! Teachers seem quite happy with her, and have only said good things so far.

Phoenix · 14/05/2008 09:20

July 21st good for me

Right we're off to toddlers now. The sun still hasn't made an appearance so guess it will be inside this week

Have a nice day

Jas · 14/05/2008 11:58

csws it is so long since I've done anything interesting,I don't know what I'd want to do any more even if I could.
I'd love t be earning money hough....coking for myfrined hasn't been so bad so I will sick a i. I had pen my hliday fund tin o pay for petrol for dp to get to work this week, so I need to start saving so we can get some nice days out.
(The car is still in the garage...it is all fixed and mot'd ut we haven't got the moey to pay for it, so heis having to drive the jag to work, which is a killern he petrol.)

I've done working and shoppin, so I'm going o bake and clean then go out.

We've got tickets to go to the circus tomorrow (dps mate gave him 6 complimentary ones) so that will be nice. I'm leaving ds at hme as there is no chanceof him sitting sill.

Jas · 14/05/2008 11:58

21st July sounds ok fo Warwickfor me I think.
