Congratulations Teuch

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/05/2008 21:16

Hey Teuch - good to see you .
Doing fine here, except for developing gestational diabetes, which is a complete bugger!

Flame · 16/05/2008 21:40

Congratulations!

Frizbe · 16/05/2008 21:51

congrats Teuch

at Jas's boy, laughing my socks off at that one

{{{Hugs}}}} to MRM, if I were nearer I'd come round and attempt to assist.

Flame, haven't read the thread, but hope your feeling a bit better now?

CSWS, {{{{Hugs}}}} re the diabeties thing.

I can do 21st for Warwick, don't think they're on hols till the week after up here, so won't be too whammed??? well ss is on hols as of end of that week, so assume our local ones break at that time? I know dd1 starts on 8th Sept (does the less nursery fees dance)

Hi to everyone anyway. Been quiet as been swanning around Paris with two of my friends and their kids, plus my dd1 If you do one thing, may I recommend a trip to Paris with the kids in tow, or at least one kid, if you can persuade a GP like I did to look after the others. Locals so friendly and lovely to us all We managed to do trip for BMI Baby sale £4.99 each way plus taxes, then one of the other mums got us a corporate apptment to stay in, so we had a nice gaff too (although Citidines aparthotels are good too) and we ate pastry and bread n cheese w grapes for two days but was FAB. Have gotten so used to people being ignorant in UK.....nice men getting up and letting you sit down on trains People helping with directions in street, without any attempt at asking, just standing around looking confused with a map lovely weather (on 1st day at least) Fantastic public transport, that's on time anyway we had a great time and dd1 want's to move countries now
dd2 was great for the grandparents too, so they're more into having the kids to stay again Dad also put hardcore on my driveway to be the other day, so that's shaping up too Oh and ss's mum has had a little Boy, so he was right, his mum does boys and I do girls and all is well with them too

Jas · 16/05/2008 22:02

Weneed you and your post Frizbe

Glad you had a good time away.

I think ours break up the week after 21st, too.

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/05/2008 22:15

Sounds lovely friz.

Dd breaks up on 11th .

Jas · 16/05/2008 22:52

I've just lookedat the calendar....was assuming 21st was a weekend, but it is a Monday, and the girls are at school (break up on 22nd) Sorry.

Sat 19th, or Tues 29th are ok though.

Flame · 17/05/2008 09:01

MRM - I can't do any of your dates

First I have a hen night, second I have a date with Tabs, and third I have an exam I am being a body for

I can't do last weekend of August for piss up either - tis DH's birthday.

Can't do Warwick either - break up on 22nd.

I'm a helpful little bunny aren't I?

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/05/2008 09:34

Talking of our date flame, any hotels you can recommend near the boats for the Saturday night?

Can you (and everyone else) do 29th July for Warwick?

And can you do first w/e in Sept for piss up?

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/05/2008 09:37

Oh - mrm's ds1 has a swimming course on 29th July, which won't finish til 10:30, so that won't work. What about Fri 22nd Aug? That's before you go away isn't it Jas?

Jas · 17/05/2008 10:46

We leave at 4am on the 23rd, so I really need to be pcking and loading the car on the day before.

Sep still ok for piss up I think.

Flame · 17/05/2008 12:45

1st weekend of sept is fine, I see no reason for no warwick that date (but now jas can't) - how would you feel about visitors either side of whatever date we get for warwick? (Completely understand if too hectic with building etc)

Will research hotels this week

Phoenix · 17/05/2008 17:41

Don't work Warwick around my day's off lol. It's fine if i can't come just go when you can

Jas · 17/05/2008 21:20

Yes...I'll join you if I can, and not if I can't!

Is a Sunday a bad idea?

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/05/2008 22:00

Flame - if we're going from/coming back to here then that sounds fine. I say if because depending how trashed the house is, we may spend a bit of time up at my parents.

Sundays fine with me, as long as no-one minds dh coming too.

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/05/2008 22:02

Which Sunday though? mrm is away 1st 2 weeks in August.

Flame · 17/05/2008 22:14

Thank you and muchly understanding the "if"

Definitely not to MrCSWS coming though. He smells.

Jas · 18/05/2008 07:05

mustrunmore · 18/05/2008 08:47

I'm gonna lwet you all work it out and then just xome if I can. Its gettin too complicated for me to think about!

Jas, when we went out Fri night I wore the dress you borrowed for the xmas do! Ok, so I had to wear a black shirty thing too to hide the belly. But at least it fits again Wore fishnet tights and pointy knee boots with it.

Have has thids cough for at l3ast 3 weeks now and it aint shiftingh Am coughing for literally 30min spells at a time all thruogh the night, and its draininig me.

Might take the boys swimmming today once dh gets back from work.
