Bloss-I can't get to see your pics. Tried the password but further info was required. Am v. as none of my girls would ever sit still for even one minute DVD or no DVD. Am coming round for cakes though as I avoid yummy cakes.

Pixel-is it the man or the woman that has to eat the bananas and bacon? DH informs me that he had bacon at lunch time and has been eating lots of bananas recently-lol! If it is the woman then no chance as bananas hate me and I don't eat much bacon as it is quite high in points. Think it is best I go and see David Beckham as he is quite good at producing boys.

flick-more {{hugs}} As you say it is only 5 weeks since Sam was born so your hormones will be all over the place. Perhaps DH feels a tad left out?

Annie-great pics full of fun. I really must make an effort to take some pics. Soph's 9-12 months clothing is beginning to look a little short.

ceebee-sorry you have a cold. Being PG there is very little you can take.

I was wondering how spin was?????

Wonder how soph is getting on.

Had to have a glass of sherry tonight as I have run out of wine.

Waves to everyone else.

Not very good English again-am slacking. I meant that I avoid cakes normally so don't have any in the house but Bloss, yours sound like a wonderful treat so would make an exception.

ok I'm losing the will to live here as have tried loads of times recently with photobox and that doesn't work either. The photos on Snapfish are for you lot only, there aren't any others on there apart from the ones I want you to see, so not bothered about you having my log on - [email protected] password is 8310stu

For anyone that can be arsed, enjoy,

xx

HC - Making Cappuchino slices tomorrow as well. Not sure why, have some cocoa I need to use.....

ImpyChica · 24/04/2008 21:55

Hugs to all.

That's worked Bloss - what lovely pics! vv broody looking at Willow, she's so weeny! H looking gorgeous and v grown up, and Toby just meltworthy, esp with his glasses

Impy - meant to say what a fab blog, lovely record for Ryan to have. He's looking seriously gorgeous, and very cosmopolitan too!

Catchingzeds, how are things with you? Remember you saying things were a bit rough, hope the better weather has helped. I'm finding it quite difficult these days being at home a lot with Emma, they are much harder work as they get older aren't they? Good job they are cute sometimes

Will catch up more soon xxx

Hello everyone. Just getting this in my threads list. Congratulations MaeWest. I'm hearing about a lot of new pregnancies at the moment and I'm feeling broody. But, sad to say, it would STILL be the immaculate conception and I'm STILL not ready to go down that route again (despite what I said a few months ago).

Will catch up properly at the weekend probably. Right now I'm immersed in yet more phone line problems (this time it's BT).

AnnieAreYouOkAreYouOkAnnie · 25/04/2008 10:54

Morning all

Bloss! Such a little cutie! [not broody].
Look at Tobes with his spex, how cool is he!? Now forgive me for being thick, but why is the patch on his right eye, when it's the other eye that's a bit wobbley? Or am I just fecking blind myself? Harry is so grown up now.

HC how was that sherry!? You must be thirsty to go for that!! I've read if you 'do it' just after ovulation then the little male spermies get to the egg first cos they swim faster. If you do it a couple of days before then the female ones take a bit longer to get there, and then arrive just as the egg is ready. Of course it works every time!

Flick, you take it easy girl. You have the best reason in the world to eat whatever you want, and long may it last! Hope you and DH are ok now again.

My bestest friend is over this weekend! Yaaay! She's doing Oxford St today while I work, so I'll meet up with her later and we'll go back and drink wine (again) all evening.
I must say, we actually had a very good night's sleep last night! Maybe I was comatose after all the wine, but Joey slept through, and although K came in the bed with us at our bedtime, I think she only woke once, and didn't fidget so much. Still knackered today though. Can't feckin win...

Her talking is really good [proud].
She recites off Incy Wincy Spider, Rock-a-bye-baby and Going on A Bear Hunt, not perfectly, and not always in the right order, but with some prompting she can say it. She's gettting a little aggressive, in that she pushed Joey now if he tries to get his toys back off her, and calls him naughty. She is definitely a lot more headstrong than he ever was. Little Madam.

Hello to everyone else, fingers are still crossed for you Soph, patiently waiting your news! And hope Mae and CB are feeling ok.

Laters.

Annie, he has to wear the patch on the good eye to force his bad eye to straighten and work. If it is left the nerve endings would atrophy and the brain would just stop sending messages to it at all. SO glad we caught it when we did.

AnnieAreYouOkAreYouOkAnnie · 25/04/2008 15:30

Bloss, I'm sure it will right itself. He looks so clever!

Quick question right. I've been meaning to ask this for weeks, but I keep forgetting.

What do you call a little girl's ... you know... bits. I had K on the potty the other day and she pointed down and said 'Mimi's willy wonka'. See, Joey's is a willy wonka, but I don't want it to be a negative thing, by saying you don't have a willy cos you're a girl. J knows that boys have them and girls don't, but Mimi thinks we all have them. Even though there's none there. If you know what I mean.
I think I said something like, That's your,...em... bits. 'BITS!' she says... immediately I knew that wasn't quite right.
I couldn't say 'fanny' or 'muff' (DH suggested that) and I don't think 'vagina' is what I want to hear my baby saying yet... even though I know it's correct and nowt wrong with it...

I dunno. What do you lot call yours? In front of the children I mean. (Did I say 'quick' question?)

Annie - I can't help what with only having Josh but I thought I would share that Josh's is called a 'winkle' . It is so cute as when he has no nappy on, he knows where his 'winkle' is but when he has a nappy on and you ask him where his 'winkle' is, he turns round, puts his hands up and says 'gone'

Anyway, not really helping you is it.

Have a good evening and don't drink too much.

There's a thread on it here Annie, it's a hot topic!

I'm sure I've seen others too if you do a search. We haven't decided yet either, fortunately it hasn't come up in conversation yet!

thefortbuilder · 25/04/2008 19:31

Bloss-will try and look at pics later. Have a sore throat from hell so everything is too much at the mo.

We call Harry's bits his willy. As I am not allowed to go to the loo by myself (I'm sure you can all relate) Harry has just started asking where my willy is, and I have avoided answering so far, but when I do it will be a full on explanation of "Ladies don't have willies they wee out of a hole in their bottom " etc. Really looking forward to that!

My mum always used to call it a "front bottom" as opposed of course to a "back bottom" and it always made sense to me, but DH thinks that is hilarious and ridiculous! I must admit whenever anyone refers to their back bedroom or front bedroom I do try not to get the giggles.....

Having said that my mum told my sister that babies came out of a hole at the top of their mummy's legs and she was on red alert for years looking out at the top of her thigh for this hole.....considering mum was a paedeactric (sp) nurse you think she might have done a bit better than that!

I want to see Jacob in his spex. Have had a total nightmare keeping them on Toby's head today - but I think we are winning. I couldn't put a patch on him today, he woke up this morning with a horrible red lumpy reaction from the patch, poor little mite.

Red wine night for me, hurray.

Bloss

xx

PS Impy, so sorry I forgot to say Happy Birthday to you the other day, shameful, hope you had a brilliant birthday.

xx

thefortbuilder · 25/04/2008 20:17

o'h bloss poor toby with the reaction! we are about half and half with the battle to keep the spex on tbh - if he is on a playdate or at footie or monkey music, or mother and toddler he's fine, but at home - you'd think taking them off was the best thing!!!

anyway, will try and sort out some pix of him in them and post. when i find the camera charger.....

aGalChangedHerName · 25/04/2008 20:41

Boys have a winkie (when young) donn't want to say what my 16 yr old calls it now

Us girls have a flower

MaeWest · 26/04/2008 13:30

DS has a willy, but he can't say it yet. Went thro a phase of excitedly tugging it when he was younger but now mostly leaves it be - apart from when he's having a wee, then he loves to prod at it and stick his hands in the flow

Don't know what I'd call girls bits - can't remember calling it anything when I was little, 'bits' possibly, or maybe in a whispered tone 'down there'. I know vulva is technically correct (as opposed to vagina) but it doesn't go with willy really... The things I find myself pondering on MN

ImpyChica · 27/04/2008 15:58

Happy birthday CB!!! Hope you're getting spoiled rotten down the Rover's.... Hugs Impy xxx
