Hi everyone ? have been very slack at posting recently Will try harder in future! I am so knackered that I can just about read everyone?s posts but not get around to typing my own in the evenings. Am using some ?quiet time? at work a la Annie now

Mae ? glad you had a lovely time with your mum ? and I bet it is a relief to have told her your news ? I know it was for me (you can at least stop pretending for a while when with people who know!)

Hiccy ? Ben sounds just like Josh. Josh will cause mayhem wherever he goes! Josh?s trick in soft play areas is to go round and grab other children?s bags (particularly ones with Thomas, Bob or Peppa Pig on) ? it gets v embarrassing at times!

Pav ? welcome back! Bella just looks so adorable and so grown up!

Bead ? have you sold your house yet? The whole system in Scotland sounds a nightmare tbh but once you have sorted everything and moved into your dream house, it will all be like a distant dream And congratulations to your bf!

Bloss ? good to hear from you after your holiday. Am v of you getting some sun (and I just love Fuerteventura!). I bet your 2 blondies are even more blond now! Toby?s speech sounds amazing ? I am with Impy in that Josh can just about say a few words (pronounced completely incorrectly) but is nowhere near stringing sentences together. His favourite way of communication involves pointing and going ?eh eh eh? over and over.

Flick ? dare I ask for photos of Sam???

Impy ? Ry is just gorgeous! Are you sure you are not feeling a smidgeon broody?? Hope things are ok without DH and you have made some fab plans for your birthday. Lol at the Rovers Return ? do you think I wear a flat cap and live in cobbled streets???

Not much new here ? got my scan on 15th May but it seems such a long time away. Still feeling pretty crappy most of the time but it is bearable.

Josh seems to have turned against nursery at the moment and makes a big fuss every morning. This morning, when I was getting dressed, he tried to give me my pyjamas to put on and starting crying when I said no. And then when I had put my top on, he was pulling it saying ?off off?. Clearly he has learnt that when mummy is in PJ?s, it is a ?staying at home? day and he obviously decided that was what he wanted to do today! I really hope it is just a phase as he used to love going to nursery!

Anyway, must go and pretend to do some work!

hiya all

this photo out of date (was taken at a week old and he is now a month old but can't find the charger for our camera and it's out of battery, to load the new photos on )

will post more later - it's tuesday so one of the days i have both boys with no help (yes yes i'm so hard done by aren't i...not... i do realise that!) and it's a bit hectic, particularly since sam decided to feed every 2 hours in the night - yes i MN jinxed it all by saying he was every 4 hours or so, and dh helped it all by grumbling "i've got to go to work at least you can stay home and nap when they nap" - yes dh jacob napped in the buggy on the way home from football and sam woke up as soon as we got through the door so i got no nap...

and HC are you ok - 7 st 3 is not very much my dear - i can't remember when i was last that size.

HumphreysCorner · 22/04/2008 18:53

flick-oh, Sam is just edible and all that lovely hair. Go and find that charger in your spare time. Men! I have never napped when the girls have napped as I can't make myself fall asleep to order and as you said, they sleep at different times. I am actually 7 st 13 lb so OK as I'm only 5 ft.

Gorgeous pic of Sam, Flick! He looks adorable - can't wait to see more!

Don't you start on the "siblings for Ry" line, HC - I get enough grief from the greengrocer! Sorry your DH has been an a**e - hope he makes up for it soon...

Ah, CB, it's awful when they go off nursery - Ryan has been the same since I've switched to full time hours. Sometimes have to drag him out the door, poor lamb. I bet Josh is like Ry and really loves it when he's there though - they are good at putting on a bit of an act for their mummies.

Hi everyone else. Impy x

AnnieAreYouOkAreYouOkAnnie · 23/04/2008 11:03

Morning girlies!

Back to civilisation! We had a nice old time, I'll post some photos later. Very glad to be home though. The babes loved it out there, with baby sheeps and the seaside and Going on a Bear Hunt all day, every day...
Not much sleep though, four in a bed, and it's continued since we got back. Must DO something about that!

Flick, a beautiful boy you have there. Hope you get some kip soon. I'm still hoping...

Ceebee Do some proper work you skiver ! . Poor Josh, I'm sure it's just a phase and he'll love nursery again soon.

HC, [hug] for you, hope you and DH are ok again. Men... You go girl with your skinny figure.

Impy, did the rioja help with the Spanish!? Hope your DP brings you back something nice from India. Lovely photos!!

Bloss, good to hear from you Missus. Missed ya!

Mae, how are you? Any symptoms yet?

Hello to everyone else, must go and do some work... (ha ha ha ha ha!!)

hiya!

thanks for the lovely words about sam - will look for that charger this afternoon although my treat is to get my hair done - highlights for the first time in 3.5 years!!!! will take about 3 hours for that and a cut i'm told though...

well, last night was much better midnight for about an hour, and then we had to go into the spare room because he was wingeing but straight back to sleep and a co sleeping feed at about 6 i think, then 8ish. have put him onto top ups with an easy digestion formula as it's such a palaver whenever he tries to fart or poo - lots and lots of red faced and wailing - to the extent that i'm going to see if he has a hernia that keeps poping out when he tries to poo etc. jacob had one so need to look out for it

Evening everyone

I'm cheating tonight and letting Mark argue Ben to sleep, at the minute Ben's winning

It's lovely reading about all your little ones. I just wish i knew about this thread earlier, i've got loads of catching up to do!

flick Sam's absolutely gorgeous You really do forget they're actually that small! Enjoy your haircut. I know how you feel, i think i've worn make up twice since Ben was born, and i never used to leave the house without it!

ceebee i was laughing at the thought of Josh trying to get you back into your pjs

I can hear a kerfuffle upstairs, i'd better go and investigate!

Hope everyone's okay xxx

hiccymapops · 23/04/2008 21:06

The noise was Ben throwing cuddly toys at his dad who was asleep in the nursing chair! Unbeleivable!

hiccymapops · 23/04/2008 21:07

Unbelievable! I can spell really

soph28 · 23/04/2008 21:30

Hello everyone!

Good to have a new thread- a bit easier to keep up at first.

Welcome Newbies!

Congratulations to Mae and Ceebee! V exciting.

Also not sure if I said Congrats to Flick on the birth of Sam!

I am now 4 days over but am having a sweep tomorrow so hoping that will kickstart something! I have very stubborn babies who like to hang on inside for as long as possible. I am so tired of being pg though and am desperate for this one to arrive.

HC- my Toby sounds very like Harry- huge amounts of energy. Spends most of the time leaping of furniture, dancing, jumping, throwing himself around and being loud.

Chloe loves songs and dancing at the moment and tries to sing along and do the actions to the Hokeycokey, one finger one thumb, head, shoulders, knees and toes etc. it's very cute.

Strangely she will not say her name! She says me, mine and I but never Chloe!

Anyway, will keep you posted on any news of no.3!

AnnieAreYouOkAreYouOkAnnie · 23/04/2008 22:29

Evening girls!!

Fingers crossed for you Soph!!! Hope you pop soon!

Hiccy, LOL at your DH falling asleep instead of Ben! Typical!

Just put some photos up on Facebook, you should be able to see them:

Hi everyone

Annie - glad you had a nice time, fab photos

soph - second annie in hoping you pop soon

hiccy - at dh falling asleep

flick - sam is adorable, hope you had a lovely relaxing afternoon at the hairdressers, i always find it a great excuse for some 'me' time

ceebee - im sure its just a phase with josh disliking nursery and itll pass soon. glad your sickness is bearable and hopefully will pass soon

Hi to everyone else

well we have sold our flat with only days to spare before we wouldve had to pull out of house. Didnt get as much as we hoped but better than losing out on our new house, just typical we decide to sell when the market slows down

Dh and I are off to edinburgh tomorrow for 3 nights for some quality couple time Took charlotte up to my mum and dads today, its the first time shes stayed there, hoping she will be ok. She sees my mum often but always here, was on the phone earlier and she went to sleep ok so heres hoping that she will be fine.

Goodnight xx

ceebee74 · 24/04/2008 09:31

Impy - HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope you have a fantastic day

Hiccy - lol at your DH falling asleep whilst Ben throws toys at him The most frustrating thing about Josh trying to get me to put my PJ's back on is that there was nothing I wanted more than to put them on and curl up in bed Have you any pg symptoms yet?

Annie - the photos are lovely and your children are yummy!

Flick - Sam is just gorgeous - he just reminded me of how Josh looked when he was born!

Soph - fingers crossed for your sweep and that baby no.3 comes sooner rather than later!

Right should go and do some work - got a bloody cold on top of the morning sickness - joy of joys!

ceebee74 · 24/04/2008 09:32

Beadmum - congratulations on buying your house - glad everything went ok in the end - now you just need to start packing

thefortbuilder · 24/04/2008 10:38

beadmum congrats - must have been nerve racking there for a bit!

Impy - happy birthday - have a lovely day and store up your celebrations for when DH gets back!

the hairdressers was lovely! took sam with me and he had a feed after i'd been there for about 20 minutes, and then i sat having a lovely long snuggle with him, listening to roxy music inthe background! don't really get time to have good cuddles with him at home because jacob ALWAYS wants something so it was a nice change.

feeling a bit down at the moment - dh is being no help whatsoever and just complains in the night when we get up so i have resorted to going to the spare room after sam wakes up the first time (or last night he woke at 1030 so i came back to bed but then at 330 we went to the spare room) so we don't disturb dh. and i just have so much to do with house paperwork etc and it's just not getting done at all because one or other of the boys needs something all the time. so i end up feeling guilty using childminder time for me time...

anyway, not to bring the thread down so i'll be off - they're both starting to wail now so fun fun fun in the flick household...

MaeWest · 24/04/2008 10:40

soph - glad you're well, hope baba makes an appearance soon

My main symptoms appear to be knackeredness and boob twinges, so not that different from normal really . Starting to feel a bit queasy every now and then, but fine as long as I'm stuffing my face with bread products! I was never actually sick last time round, so hoping I get lucky again.

Dom is being pretty gorgeous atm (as long as we don't mention sleep). Lots of singing, he can just about say his name, loads of chatting. He was playing out with the little girl next door (she's about 9 months older) yesterday and they were playing tag - so cute. He loves bigger kids, just wants to join in all the time...

HumphreysCorner · 24/04/2008 11:18

soph-good to hear from you and hope LO appears very soon.

Happy B'Day Impy! Hope there is lots of celebrating going on.

Beadmum-that is good news.

Maewest-keep stuffing the bread and rich tea fingers. Hope the sickness stays away this time too.

flick-with both girls I refused to use the spare room as why should DH get a good night's sleep when I'm not. {{hugs}} Not easy without support.

Hi to everyone else. Sophie is so tired but refusing to go in her cot so have thrown her in there screaming. All gone quiet now though-fingers crossed.

HC i'm not sure i could stand the arguments at the moment tbh - just had him on the phone "what have you been doing all morning?" I'm sure it wasn't meant in an accusing have you been sitting onyour arse kind of way, but that's how it came across, so i detailed every miniscule thing i'd done and then said "and i haven't been sitting doing nothing all day"... so we ended up pretty much slamming the phone down on each other. honestly i do for some split seconds wonder why we are together but i of course am being rather over emotional at the moment still having only had a baby 5 weeks ago today!

Flick, calm, think calm thoughts, bet Dh brings you home a treat, you never know. Gorge pic of Sam.

Good luck Soph!

Love that pic of the two of them holiday hands Annie. MUST get some photos on here of my men.

COMPLETELY forgot to tell youtha my littlesister dropped her second April 9th, another little girl claled Willow, do you remember she had Lily 3 days before I had the Tobester? Very nice to have a new baby in the family, she is very sweet and my sister is very serene It won't last...

Just had a new cleaner here for 3 hours, having her fortnightly, my hous is gleaming - that won't last either!

Have had a great week at work! Mooched around the office on Monday, day at home on Tuesday, day swanning around London yesterday! Wish it could always be like that!

Have just made a banana loaf, and contemplating choc drop cookies to make tomorrow. LOVE baking. Come round here and eat my produce HC, you won't be 7 13 for very long. You weigh exactly a stone less than me. I'd have to chop a leg off to be that small....

Hi Girls
Gosh suddenly lots to catch up on

Happy Birthday Impy !!! Hope you have a lovely Rioja- and fun-filled day.

Bloss ? congrats on being an auntie . Your holiday sounds fab, do you have a tan? Great that Toby is getting on so well, and that work is better this week. Get you doing baking, how the hell do you find the time for that??

Flick ? god you must be exhausted, I find Emma knackering enough on her own. Sounds like you?re doing so well though, with bf at the hairdressers and all Sam is beautiful!! Grrrr re DH, it?s such a shame you can?t properly swop places with them for a couple of days when you?re bf isn?t it.

HC ? yes get ye over to Bloss?s for some cake Did you hear that thing on the news about eating lots of bananas and bacon if you?re ttc a boy? (not sure whether you're after a boy or not btw, but apparently it sways the odds if you are - sounds like a slightly ropey theory to me tho')

Mae ? glad you?re doing well, keep eating the bread (and why not throw in a few of Bloss?s cakes while you?re at it, pregnancy and not drinking are a fine excuse). Dom sounds lovely, you?ll have to post a pic.

Ceebee ? glad things are going well with you too, (apart from the cold and yukky work). I can remember having to drag myself out of bed when I was pregnant and practically falling asleep at my desk, it?s a pain isn?t it. Hope the cold goes soon. xx

I've got more to post but will do it separately or this will be far too long x

PixelHerder · 24/04/2008 15:59

Okay here goes with Part II

Beadmum ? great news about your sale, and hope you have a fab time in Edinburgh

Annie ? what lovely sets of pics they are as gorgeous as ever . Love the one of Kayley kissing the gorilla! You?re so good at captioning them as well.

Soph ? oooh how exciting, it won?t be long now. Chloe sounds very sweet! Emma has only recently started saying her name, but pronounces it so it sounds like Memma, I thought she was saying mama for ages .

Hiccy ? lol at Ben throwing toys at his sleeping dad!

Ceebee ? meant to say have a great birthday. (I though a trip to Granada studios was a good idea Impy, I love Corrie too ) Hope Josh settles back down soon. Emma has started hanging on like a limpet to my legs when I drop her off - she used to just saunter in without a backward glance.

Kbaby ? how did the My Little Pony cake go, lol at your description!

Hi to everybody else , how?s things with you Spin?

We?re okay here, tho? Emma is getting her snotty eye cold again, yuk. Re speech, she?s nowhere near sentences either unless you count ?Daddy car? (daddy has gone out in the car) ?Doggy ham? (the dog has eaten the ham I just dropped on the floor [grrrrrr] ) She isn?t very vocal really, especially when she?s out and about and people try to chat to her, she just gives them a stony stare Even at nursery she doesn?t say much apparently. She does ?chat? at home but it?s mainly just the same old words, though there is quite a lot she says that I can?t make sense of at all.

There?s lots more bits I wanted to say but I?ll do those later too! Have good afternoons all xx

thefortbuilder · 24/04/2008 19:07

hmmm thanks for the support ladies! a treat from dh - actually i can't complain as he is going to cannes for a conference at the beginning of june and getting me some lovely things then! although he told me we have to stop spending and on the c card bill today it's all his stuff!!! hes got a bad bordeaux habit and our average bottle costs 30 quid now

bloss at only a stone more than HC i daren't weigh myself at the moment, and i've already lost a load of my baby weight

must go jacob wailing with a book!

TheGoddessBlossom · 24/04/2008 19:44

Pixel Thursday and Friday lunchtimes I bake. Pick H up from pre-school, he gets parked in front of a DVD for "quiet time" before the afternoon activity I have planned, T goes to bed and I have two hours to whirl around and make sticky confectionary. Love it.

My booze free week has turned into a gin filled Thursday night. Couldn't persuade to go up to the shop and get me some wine, but found some gin and tonic hurrah! Doesn't it get you pissed quick!!??

Where is Spin?

TheGoddessBlossom · 24/04/2008 19:45

is this working?

TheGoddessBlossom · 24/04/2008 19:46
