Kbaby - lovely pics, very Are your two James and Amelia? Same as mine if they are! Although we have DS then DD I also know of a friend of a friend who has a J & A - although anly found this out after Amelia was born.

Wallace - my two are in the same room at the moment and was looking into getting a bunk bed in the future but had visions of Amelia doing exactly as Leo has as she just loves to climb (& has no fear whatsoever!) Will hold off for a little while longer I think.

Annie - we got Amelia the bluebell boot for Xmas (similar to what you have for K) and she really likes it.

Spin - My SIL used to have a cockatiel - Louis - very cute but not as talented as yours tho.

Keep the birthday pressie ideas coming - I need some inspiration! And running out of time.

Yes I need birthday ideas too. Already know what we are getting H, he has wanted a scooteror ages, but Toby is quite difficult. Complete telly addict at the moment, much to my shame, TV training has gone a little bit too well with him. He would quite happily sit in front of back to back Hi 5s and Higgledy House for hours on end if I let him. Harry's viewing time was always finite.....

Bloss - I know where you are coming from about the telly. Josh's favourite channel is definitely Playhouse Disney (he appears to have outgrown CBeebies already ) with his particular faves being Mickey Mouse, Tigger and Pooh and Handy Manny - the lad would sit in front of those all day

We are going to get Josh a workbench for his birthday - ELC do one which looks quite good. Plus he is getting the ultimate birthday treat by going to Thomasland for his birthday

Mae - glad the scan went well - what is your official due date?

blimey Spin, 30 lengths of a full length pool that is hardcore, well done you! I manage to go about once a week on my days of working from home, and can get about 40 of a 25 metre pool in in about 20 minutes. Really enjoy it wish I could go more. You are 5 8? Blimey, I am barely 5.3, total short arse.

Boys slept till 7.10am this morning! Fantastic. I do wonder though, why it DH and are both late for work, it is still left to me to make all beds, get myself and both kids dressed, bags ready shoes on, face on, nexk my own breakfast etc, while he minces about sorting himself out saying "I have to get to work!" Er yes, so do I!!!

Due to kids lie in DH decided we had to do the deed, and of course H walks in. You should see us LEAP up and act normal it's hilarious. What made it even funnier was Harry walked in holding his binoculars up to his face like some wildlife investigator, gave me the giggles. Could just imagine the commentary "...and here we an older male and female attempting to mate, looks a bit hurried, both appear a little flushed and hysterical......"

Toby asked for the potty on Saturday and sat on it and did a poo and a wee!!! Has refused to sit on it since, but I was really amazed. I wonder if he will potty train himself, how marvellous would that be. Have got an orthoptist appointment with him this afternoon to see how is squint is looking. I think it is vastly improved, and haven't been patching everyday, so we will see what they say.

Made them a really nice tea last night, fried tuna steaks which I then flaked in a dish with courgette, carrot, broccolli, cauliflower, covered it all in a chese sauce with added grated cheese and baked for a bit. They both ate monster portions! It's a good way to get rid of some veg hanging about too.

Right suppose I should do some work now.

Crikey, this thread has dropped off my threads I'm on list. All this TTC is doing my head in and have my usual monthly migraine to add to all the misery-gggrrrhhh!!!

spin-you active person you (and you too Bloss). I put another 4.5 lb on tonight at WW so spot on goal now but prefer to be under to allow for eating. Sophie's barbecue on Saturday for example.

Sophie still not speaking like Toby or Roshi and probably most of the others and she is 2 on Friday. She sometimes says poo when she has done one in her nappy but usually she has only done a wee. Then when I know she has done one she denies it. She did say a sentence today which was amusing to hear-Emma gool lect which I know means we have to collect Emma from school. She'll get there in the end!

Must go and rest my head. Will try and keep up a tad better. All this B'Day organising is hectic then Em's B'Day is 3 weeks later. The amount of time it is taking to TTC No3 will no doubt mean we will end up with another June/July baby.

HC, you poor dearie. Hope you head gets better soon, and try to enjoy the TTC.
I can't believe Sophie is 2 on Friday!!! I know she is, but it still seems far off to Mimi's birthday. I'm sure it will be a lovely day, with lots of BH! (For you, not for Sophie!)

Bloss, LOL at you getting caught in the act!!! How did the appointment with the eye fella go (not even attempting to spell the proper word)?

Spin, I'm in awe of your atheleticism. I used to struggle to do about 20x25 laps. Useless.

CB, how's that bump coming along? Thanks for asking, DH got on ok at the toddler group in the end. There weren't very many people there, but lots of the kids wanted to play with him. He's such fun ... anyway, he's going to try and go every week now.

Ideas for boys presents? Last year, we got Joey Little People -the bus, he also got the airplane. He still plays with them. Also the train set at one stage. And Roary the Racing Car. Anything to do with him.

Happily he has moved on from RtRC now, and is addicted to Little Einsteins. Though he will literally watch anything.

jom, good to hear from you. Glad Amelia likes her Bluebell boot, a good choice!

Have been quite busy lately, but I don't know what really.
I think Mimi and Joey are both coming down with something, they both slept crap last night (crapper than usual) and she was very clingy this morning. I suspect teeth and a cold as well.

Still the Outlaws are down tonight, so let's see how the nerves hold up!!

Oh and, remember my Brother and SIL had twin boys last September? Well, she's up the duff again... due in January (on my birthday incidently). mental!

Blimey Annie at your Bro and Sil. I think I would be put off having more children for life if I had twins when Em was born. Hope it isn't more twins.

Stoopid Sramble is only working on the main computer and not my comfy laptop. GRRRHHH!!! Will get DH to look at it when he is not dying of hayfever-bless! Well, not bless really as he is keeping me awake all night with his spluttering!!!!

Gosh! 40 lengths in a pool I can manage 2 before having to gasp for air and feel a if im dying.

Off work today. Went in this morning and started to get falshy lights in my eyes and then a pounding headache, just managed to make it through the door b4 I threw up. So have speant the afternoon in bed and now feelmore human again as long as I dont move about. Havent had a migraine for 7 yrs so im not sure why I had one today. Hope they dont start back up as they are bloody awfull.

I think ive finally found a birthday present for DS- thomas airport is friend has one and DS loved playing with it.

I need some advice ladies. I thinking of adding a quote/phrase etc to DS bedroom wall when I redecorate it. something like this www.rightonthewalls.com/index.html

Kbaby - hope you are on the mend. That writing is just lovely - I would go for number 7 I think.

If anyone has a Thomas-obsessed like Josh and wants an idea for birthday presents, check this out that I found in the Mothercare sale. Should be £50 but they are selling it for £20.

Hi Annie. Orthoptist was very pleased with Toby, said vision is really good considering, so proud of him when she stands at one end of the room holidng up pix and he has to say what he sees, he is so young I have to tell her what pix he just wouldn't recognise like umbrella and wheel, but he can say duck house boot cup fish when she holds up the picture and I think that is pretty cool for not even 23 months yet.....

HC hope your head is better soon too. Wow on Bro and SIL....are they quite mad?

KBaby - I knew your DS was James but just knew your DD as DD! Funny, James really only gets James, sometimes Jimbo as a joke, and he often calls himself Pablo (from Backyardigans). He has called Amelia 'Little A' for a long time now and I honestly don't know where it came from. I didn't like it a first but it has grown on me and now think its quite cute. No one else calls her that, only him, so its his little pet name for her. When they're playing (nicely) together (not that often!) he says we're playing an 'A game'. She sometimes goes up to him and says 'A game' when she wants him to play which is sweet. They do have a laugh together.
I like the letters for DS' room. I guess it depends on the size of wall you have but I like 3. Hard choice though.

Bloss- Toby sounds like a star with his words. It must be quite hard evaluating how things are progressing when they're so young.

Amelia is a total nightmare with nappies at the moment. She keeps taking them off but is not interested in the potty or toilet. She did a wee on the toilet once ages ago but nothing for ages - either doesn't understand yet or just doesn't want to so I haven't pushed it but just wish she'd leave her nappy ON. Have had to put cellotape around it at whenever she goes to bed otherwise she takes it off and I have a lovely mess to great me when she wakes!! She has even managed to get tights off and a vest with poppers and then take her nappy off. But that was before I came up with the cellotape solution which seems to be working at the moment [she whispers] She's always been a houdini when it comes to getting out of the straps in the pushchair/ high chair / and even manages to get her arms out of the car seat too - I'm sure shes planning a way to deal with the cellotape lol.

kbaby - i like no 3

cant believe so many of you have been getting on with the potty for a while, makes me feel guilty, have now put it in the bathroom but yet to put charlotte on it

We have got charlotte the fifi trike for her birthday, argos have it with £10 off just now. Also ordered the dora laptop for her as she is just trying to get to ours all the time and she pulled letters off the last one, dont trust her with the new one yet.

pixel - good luck with the move, how long to go now? Im sure emma will be fine, I was surprised how quickly charlotte settled into our new house, my mum had her for a few days over the move and we picked her up and brought her back. You could see her looking at all her things in a strange place and thinking to herself She was a bit upset the first 2 nights going to bed but has been fine since. You do wonder whats going through their heads when they see you packing everything away though dont you?

cleaned my house from top to bottom this morning while TOby watched Hi 5/Something Special/Brum (He was sick this morning so my excuse is he needs to rest. ) Took me three hours non stop, I was sweating like a fat chick, but my house is GLEAMING! Cleaner comes next Tuesday and I now now what is acheivable in 3 hours and I will be leaving her a long list. If it's not up to standard I'm going to get rid and find another it's too expensive to be unhappy with what is done.

Speaking of cvlaue for money, am going back to the salon to have my hair redone - spent $56 on a haircut on Monday and if anything it looks longer FFS!

Happy Birthday Sophie! 2 years ago huh! Can you believe it.

Getting Toby a water tray on legs for the garden and Harry a scooter. Have I said all this already?

Both have runny bottoms and dodgy tummys today so now sure what to do this afternoon. DH night fishing tonight, so have a blissful evening ahead of me, mate is coming round to do nails and drink wine and eat choc and then the bed to myself, heaven. I can't understand anyone CHOOSING to spend the night in the cold by a pond.....

Hi everyone! Can you believe our babies are turning 2!

Robyn is 8 weeks now and smiling and laughing which is very cute! We are beginning to adjust to having 3!

Don't know what to get Chloe for her birthday- I am quite keen on the Step2 up and down roller coaster. It's expensive but she had a go on one at a soft play and LOVED it. She could do it completely by herself, including pushing the car back up and getting on it. Toby loved it too and of course Robyn would grow into it.

Toby went through a phase of wanting to wear hair clips but now he says, 'NO WAY, they're for girls!' Chloe won't keep them in for longer than a few minutes, she hands them back to me saying, 'NO pretty'.

Congrats to all those who have lost weight am so and also to those who are pg- I've lost track tho can we have a summary?

Bloss I have they are both feeling better soon.
I cant cope if either of the kids are ill(think I have a mild form of phobia to germs and vomit) I go into panic mode and even if 1 was only sick once I cancel anything that was planned and spend the whole day worrying that were all going to come down with it and start disenecting the house and trying not to cringe at the thought of having to touch the ill child. On that note DS isnt himself today, been eating fine and playing ok one minute but very tearful and losing his temper at the drop of a hat.
Was meant to be meeting friends this afternoon but shes just called and cancelled. I have to thin of something fun to do now as know DD will be disapointed.

probably just as well you weren't in our playroom/conservatory at about 5.20pm today then K. Having flatly refused to even try the carefully prepared/cooked from fresh veg/bacon/pasta bake I had made them for tea, he then threw up in it. He did it so quietly and H was so absorbed in Nina and the Neurons I managed to hide from H the fact that he had even done it, strip him, ensconce him on his bean bag in the front room in front of yet another Hi 5, and get H to finish his without even noticing!

Took boys to the "beach" this afternoon (our local lake that has a sandy beach) only for an hour but it was great. I love being on my own with them on my days off (mostly) esepcially when we are out. I just gaze and gaze at them - they are so beautiful! And I made them! (ok with some help)

Hi Soph, lovely to hear from you, glad Robyn is coming on so well, am, as ever, in total awe of those with three. (and of course perennially just a teeny weeny bit jealous....in a mad kind of way....)

Happy Birthday to Sophie for tomorrow!!! Hip hip hooray - hope you have a lovely time celebrating (in between TTC ) HC.

Hope you're all cheering us on against Russia at the moment. We beat them 4-1 in the group stage - so sod's law they'll get their revenge now....

Haven't been on for a while - up to our ear's in work in the flat (getting our windows replaced for swanky double-glazed ones) and then a trip back to the UK which was lovely.(I was dreading the travelling but R was a dream - slept on the plane/car and played quietly when he was awake!)

Hope everyone's ok. Glad the scan went well Rhinestone. CB - Ry loves hair clips too! Always stealing mine... love my little metrosexual man! Those quotes are lovely Kbaby - hard to choose... put 'em all on!

Ryan's birthday Sat after next and we're having a picnic in the park again. Only bought him a bubble making machine - he'll get stacks of stuff from everyone else. Doing the same as last year and writing him a letter about all his achievements this year and the mischief he's been up to...
