Quick hello - had lovely holiday in Devon last week, back to work this week . Weather was fab last week, just pottered about mostly looking at the boats (DS's new fav thing) in the morning, then lunch and siesta for all in the afternoon. DH couldn't believe his luck .

Finally stopped feeling sick, have scan tomorrow. DS is super cute atm, really chatty, so so with sentences 'Daddy's dere' 'cat gone' etc but lots of vocab, especially where vehicles are concerned - digger, lorry, bus etc .

HumphreysCorner · 17/06/2008 14:41

Beadmum-pleased everything went smoothly. Nice to see you again.

Rhinestone-sounds like a brill kind of week. Good luck for your scan tomorrow. What a relief that the sickness has eased.

Put on 1.5 lb at WW but still under goal. Had to do the shop and it blew my mind. Am normally fine but not having been for 4 weeks my brain had turned to mush and the figures were swimming infront of me.

Waves to everyone else.

good luck today Rhinestone - have you had scan yet?

TheGoddessBlossom · 18/06/2008 12:14

Toby was impressing the nursery yesterday with his counting - he can count to 10 absolutely no problems at all! They were amazed!

He and H fight like cat and dog at the moment although to be fair it is mostly T. He grabbed a whole fistful of Harry's hair this morning, pulled a load out! Then flatly refused to say sorry, "NO MUMMY!" so got put in his cot until he did. Took 20 minutes. Stubborn little beggar....

I however, am more stubborn.

kbaby · 18/06/2008 14:15

Off work today because I had to work saturday instead. I dont think I could be a sahm. So far this morning ive seperated 3 fights, DS bounced on DD's bed and grazed his chin on her headboard and then weve done puddle splashing in the garden still in pj's, painting, play doh and built a tent all before 12. DD wants everything out and then does say painting for 30 secs before wanting to do something else. My house is a tip and im fed up of doing things and the constant demands! We then had a tantrum before school as she didnt want her school jumper and rain mac on. Thank god I get 2.5hrs peace now to try and regain some sanity.

MIL let DS sleep for 2 hrs yesterday from 3.30 to 5.30 which meant that last night he wouldnt go to bed until 9.30pm and then was waking the house up at 5.30. I so wanted to et in the car and drive him to her house and tell her to get up early with him.

DS's words are finally coming along, they are no where near what your lo's are saying but he will now copy words if you say them ie grandad, nanny and for the first time ever he actually said Amelia and james on sunday. So im well chuffed.
His fave things to do are bouncing, jumping, playing wih his cars, DD's babies which he feeds and pushes in a buggy and kicking the ball about.

DH prob had the best fathers day ever as he got left in peace with no lo's and went to the cinema on his own while I went out with the kids and my father and brother etc.

I weighed at ww last week and lost another 1lb so did only have 1lb to my goal of 8.10 but ive eaten out most of this week and ate pizza last night and weighed this morning and im now 8.13, so ive got 1 day before my actual ww weigh in to lose it

Ladies.

Kbaby, lovely pics. Where was it you went again?

Bloss, impressive counting to 10! Mimi can a bit, but ususally leaves out six...
Glad you enjoyed your evening out!

Rhinestone, hope the scan went well!

Beadmum, glad the move went well and that you love your new house.

HC, LOL at your brain of mush. I'm like that every day...

I got Mimi's present on eBay. I didn't mean to win it, I was just bidding for the laugh, but secretly am glad! It's a castle but not in pink and a fairy toadstool.

DH was to take them to a toddler playgroup today (the first time he's ever been!!) so I got about six phonecalls before he went moaning about how they were both going to do a poo and maybe he shouldn't go. Joey did one, and he went, but was about 40 minutes late! He hates being late!! I will hear more later...

And Joey was invited to his first ever party at nursery, but someone who is four, but we don't know if it's a girl or a boy, and he doesn't seem to know who it is!! We have to phone to say whether he's going or not. Shoud I pretend I know who it is?! It's at a soft play centre thingy. I assume the whole nursery has been invited!!

Kbaby - what great photos! It looks like you had a good holiday.

Annie - how did it go at toddler group?

Rhinestone - any news?

here is 'pretty boy' Josh modelling one of my hairclips - he did ask for it before you all think I forced him to wear it . DH would not let me take him to nursery this morning with it in though - can't think why

Right, need to go and write party invites - this party lark is hard isn't it??

Wallace · 18/06/2008 20:35

ceebee - josh looks so pretty!

Sorry I haven't been keeping up, nightmare time at the mo with Leo. He learnt to climb out of his cot, so we put him in a bed and of couse he won't stay in it. He has been going to sleep about 10pm

He shares a room with jhis big brother who is in the top bunkbed. We took a rung off the ladder, and he can still climb up. So we took away the ladder...

somehow the little *** can still get on the top bunk

Wallace · 18/06/2008 20:38

kbaby - gorgeous photos. Luuurve the one of your dd!

Wallace · 18/06/2008 20:45

Trying to catch up with all the posts and updating....

Oh, he did a wee on the toilet!

I asked him if he wanted to do a wee and he said yes, I sat him on the loo and he concentrated really hard and managed a trickle

His favourite colour is pink, and i asked what colour something is he will usually say "PINK!" even though if he is talking about something eg saying "That blue car over there" he gets it right.

Talking - long strings of words, but not always grammatical. Pronunciation is very clear for some words, and really odd for others, eg a "bike" is a "dike" and a "car" is a "bar"!

Glad Parrot is back Spin!

KBaby lovely pix, you look gorge in that dress, well done on 8 13! I find that the less I eat and the better I am, the more weight I gain! Stuck at 9. Harbour looks very pretty as does DD. I know what you mean about getting EVERYTHING out and realising one hour has gone by. Being at home is hard bloody work, which is why I ALWAYS go out....

Hi Wallace! DH wants to put Toby in a bed and I am resisting, mainly cos I know it will be me getting up all night to put him back in his cot.

Staying at a friends house tonight, would love to sit downstairs with her and eat crisps and drink wine but expect I will be running around the place chasing nuaghty little boys who are refusing to go to sleep....

Right, face to put on, coffee to brew, friend arriving in 5 minutes....

Bloss

Scan was absolutely fine - arms, legs, head, heart etc. I suppose I really am up the duff.... . Felt a bit of a odd one out at the hospital as due to timing of appt (6pm) DH couldn't come with me as he came home from work early to look after DS. No way I was travelling across the city in rush hour with a tired & hungry toddler! Everyone else seemed to have partner or their mum with them. Still DH should be able to come to the next one.

kbaby · 19/06/2008 15:00

Annie We went to es cana in ibiza. A bit too quiet for us tbh, but still nice to get away from it all. Next year were going al inclusive though as it cose a fortune on food and then in 2010 im booking Disney, florida cant wait it looks fab.

Ceebee- DS likes wearing dd's hair clips too and has to have his toe nails painted.I took him to a party on Staurday and took his socks off to find he had painted his own nails with a blue felt tip pen.
Wallace- lol at your story, we were lucky with dd because when we moved her to a bed she didnt realise she could get out be herself and of course we didnt tell her she could. I am dreading moving ds to a bed.

What are all the ones with boys buying for their birthdays. I am really stumped what to get ds. We practically have everything all ready from DD.

Spin, im glad parry made it back safetly

Bloss- That dress was my bargain buy, found it in new look the day b4 we went for £25. I toted up how much I must spend on clothes this morning and its a small fortune each month, I need a job in next or oasis so that I can get a staff discount, I heard the girl working in oasis on saturday saying they only pay 25% of the value. I would be in heaven.

Rhinestone- Glad that the scan showed everything is going well. How old will DS be when the baby is born.

Wallace · 19/06/2008 15:13

congrats rhinestonecowgirl! btw are you new or a name changer?

spin - glad parry came back!

Birthday present for LEo - Kiddimoto He says he wants the pink one though!
