Hi Girls
Aaaaw some lovely summary updates going on Am reading them but a bit behind with posting at the mo.

Spin ? Chili?s clued up isn?t he bless him! Roshi?s sounding adorable. I reckon we?ll be going down the single bed route soon too, it will be a handy double up as a guest bed as she can still fit in a travel cot in our room if necessary.

HC ? that?s good re the company, and at your in-laws turning up on holiday! We?re looking for a playhouse too, Woolworths have one type left in stock but it?s a bright pink one so not sure about that.

Twinkle ? get you, mingling with the stars! Gorgeous house, looks idyllic, and Aidan?s a total sweetie.

Good luck with the builders Flick ? sounds v stressful, hope you can sort them out. Does sound like you and DH are coming from very different places at the moment, is there any way you can spend more time together? Fingers crossed for you that things improve soon xx

Bloss ? Toby?s doing fab isn?t he? Don?t get a complex re the work calls

Ceebee ? wow about your dream, can?t wait to find out if you are right

Like the new name Rhinestone, v glam!

Annie where are you?

Hi to everyone I?ve missed, I?ll try and catch up more tomorrow, and do my ?baby summary? too!

Am in a bit of a tizz at the mo, have had a tummy bug thing on and off since Sunday, but also what feels like loads of AF cramps a week before my period is due. The last time I had those (cramps with no bleeding) I was pg, so have been convinced that?s what it is ? the tests are saying otherwise tho Of course have also now convinced myself that I?ve got nausea, tiredness etc to add to the symptoms. AF not due till the weekend, though I vary from anything between 23 to 30 days, so difficult to tell. Actually reading that back, it does look more like a tummy bug is what?s going on. This is why I don?t go on the ttc threads I think, I would become totally and utterly obsessed !!

Have good nights ladies

AnnieAreYouOkAreYouOkAnnie · 06/06/2008 11:06

Hi Ladies!!!

Here I am Pixle! How sweet of you to notice! I haven't been anywhere, just haven't had a chance to post. Exciting being at the could be/couldn't be stage!!! Wouldn't it be too early to test anyway, if AF is not due for a week??? Ooooh good luck!!!!

HC Phew about the company lark. Must be a relief. Have you tried eBay for the playhouse you want? Sometimes you get lucky on there. What a stinker for your PILs to turn up on holiday. Glad you are back home safe now.
Oh and I saw Jools Holland on Wednesday evening on my way home from work. He had parked outside the Natural History Museum, and was discussing with his mates/bodyguards/drivers/whatever whether they could actually park there. When I saw him I swerved towards him to say hello then realised I didn't actually know him at all and swerved back!!

Spin!! Roshi 'I love oo'!! Mimi does that too, she's so funny.
Last night in bed, she woke in her cot, so I went in;
Mimi: I wanna go in Mammy's bed
Me: You want to stay in Mimi's bed?
Mimi: (screams) NO I need to go in Mammy's bed... waaaaaaaaaaaaah
Me; alright alright alright
In we go.
Mimi snuggles up, I almost fall out of bed
Me: Mimi, I'm falling out of bed
Mimi: (flings her arms round my neck) I gotchoo Mammy
Me: Thank you Mimi.
Daddy on other side of bed: I'm falling out too Mimi
Mimi keeps eyes closed and ignores him.
Daddy: (sulks)
Me: (Whispers) I got you Daddy!
Mimi jumps up, flings her arms around DH's neck; I GOTCHOO DADDY
Flings her other arm back around me: I gotchoo too Mammy.

All sleep safely...

This morning:

Mimi:Ayo Mammy
Me:Good Morning Mimi
Mimi:Good mawnin Mammy
DH: Go back to sleep, it's still dark
Mimi: (points at window) It's a little bit sunny, Daddy
DH; Joey's still asleep
Mimi: OOo a cow, Mammy! (points at my cow pyjamas!)
Mimi: I'n awake! I need to go find Joey.
Me: Off you go then
Mimi; Ooo come too Mammy
Joey wakes up.
Mimi: JOEY's AWAKE!!!
Runs off to joey's room.
Joey: No, I want Mimi AND Mammy

And so another day begins...

She really is speaking well. Like you, Spin, I sometimes mistake her for Joey too, specially when I hear 'We're goin' on a Bear Hunt!'
Every so often, she just looks at me, and leans forward going 'mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm' until I lean in and give her a kiss!
She's getting on the toilet, but not usually in time. Still better than Joey though!

Flick, big hugs to you, hope things improve soon.

Pav, great to hear from you! Bella sounds just adorable!

Bloss, my thoughts exactly on Simon King!! But then I don't know many 'slebs'...
Goji berries are the new superfood, no? cure all?
I've been reading 'your' book, How to talk to kids etc, and I can see how your jam/marmalade thingy worked with Harry. I haven't tried to use any of the techniques yet, but I will. If I remember. And if I can stop myself from shouting DON'T first. That would be a major improvement.

Twinkle, fab photos of Aiden and where you live. Do you live near those otters then?

RhinestoneCowgirl! Great name!! Hope you are feeling ok these days.

Ceebee you too, let us know how the scan goes, I don't always have time to keep checking up on you on other threads you know!

Got the babes hair cut yesterday by a friend. They were so good, sat there while she snipped away!! Mimi had to have clips and everything!
We have a 2nd birthday party this afternoon (which reminds me I should be getting my work done so I can leave early) so I'll see what they do for it. No ideas yet for ours, probably another barbeque.
As for presents... I asked her waht she wanted and she said 'Pink mingo!'!
She has a pink flamingo (Little People one) which is just about the only thing she can claim as 'hers' out of all the Little People toys! I think she is starting to like all things pink...
She does seem to know her other colours too though. Dh is doing a very good job!

Best go ladies. I do ramble on, sorry bout that...

Annie - aaaaaw, what gorgeous conversations, she really is advanced with her speech!

I think AF is starting now - grrrr. Don't know what all that cramping was about, v odd. I'm on day 26 at the mo, BFN yesterday with one of those early predictor ones, so doesn't look likely really.

gotta dash - catch up laters xxx

Morning all

Have spent all morning searching for playhouses and seesaws and found this Not quite the same as the Argos one but much better than the pink Woolies one. Mum and dad are buying a seesaw for Emma and although it is £5 more than Woolies I got the 2 together with a £3.50 postage. So hope it will be OK. So wanted this one Have been searching since March and don't want to leave it any longer. The house is a joint pressie this year.

Aren't your cherubs talking lots. Sophie is saying 2 word sentences but I suppose that is a good start.

Hope all OK, must get some lunch. Catch y'as later.

Pixel-why don't you join us here. We share each others ups and downs and have a laugh too. My AF came early last month after I'd already done 3 tests. Good luck!

just checking in girls - the lo's are coming o naren't they! have skimmed most of posts - too busy at mo with builders etc.

things not great here with dh - he's stressed, i'm stressed blah blah blah i can't even be bothered to bore you all wioth it

jacob saying lots more now though - new words each day which is wonderful.

glad it's the weekend!

thefortbuilder · 06/06/2008 18:14

also meant to say jacob is getting a micro g-bike for his birthday - fancy aluminium trainer bike thing that is supposed to teach them balance and poise (just kidding about the poise!), a broom from ELC, some thomas characters (toby, annie & clarabel and a musical carriage), sand pit toys, and dh has got him some books, and some board books as well.

my parents are getting him a gold club - don't scoff ladies he already has a 9 iron and a sand wedge, and can hit a golf ball (stupidly pfb boasting emoticon)!

and we are having a smallish party - about 8 or so other children, although sadly one of his friends he plays with most often is away that weekend. mid july we are bound to have problems all the way through with this!

TheGoddessBlossom · 06/06/2008 21:44

Annie that conversation really had me laughing, " I GOTCHOO MAMMY!" aw bless.

I forgot to add in my summary that Toby seems to be able to count to ten! Pure reptition from having heard us do it with H of course and he has no concept of numbers, but can quite clearly announce "WunTooPhweeForeFiveSiixSeeeevnAteNiineTen!" Word perfect!

I have just eaten an entire Chocolate Baby Duckling, you know the yellow ones that were around this year with unwrapped buttons inside, left over from Easter. Fat lardy arse. Plus two helpings of lasagne, most of the boys picnic at tea time plus my own lunch and breakfast and numerous snacks. Cannot stop eating at the moment no idea what is wrong with me I am usually very restrained with food....

Looking to book a weekend in IoW for August, and also try and get away for a couple of weeks in November for some Summer sun. DH is working every single day at the moment, so he is very tired, espeically as the boys are taking it in turns to wake us up at 5.17am every day. Tiiiiired. Jeez my days off with the kids are so knackering compared to my work days, but also so packed and fun....:-)

Diet starts tomorrow. Boooooooring.

Have a good weekend xx

thefortbuilder · 07/06/2008 21:55

hi all! well things pretty ok in the flick household. had very productive day until dh got into his usual negative doom and gloom mood this evening.....

jacob threw the mother of all tantrums this evening - wouldn't eat his dinner, only wanted milk, overtired, wouldn't come in from the garden, wouldn't wear his glasses, kept tripping over things.......

but jacob came out with about 10 new words today which is great!

not much else to report - all trhat food sounds great bloss - i daren't eat anything sweet in front of dh because he starts on his "darling is that really very good for you?" tack - makes me want to turn round and say "Clearly I have no idea what is good for me as I continue to put up with your useless f**ing remarks" but i don't

will get around to posting more photos soon

Morning all

Nice to see you Agalch

flick-you are doing so well keeping afloat. Keep it up and don't let the bas*%Rds grind you down.

Looks like Sophie has chicken pox-it is not bothering her so don't think I need to do anything. If Emma gets it will I have to keep her off school?

Lovely and sunny today so making the most of it after yesterday's rain all day. Going to have a Bar B Q later.

Love to all

Spin the weather is gorgeous here right now. I love the smell of the Summer mornings, nothing like it. We spent the morning in our local park yesterday, football, sand pit, general running around (they did, I sat on a picnic blanket and laughed and cheered at the appropriate moments.) And came back and had the paddling pool out and drank cheap champagne - because we could! Sorry to hear your nights ars not good right now...and WTF re Ch wetting your bed? I thought you had cracked that months ago. They do like to test you periodically don't they, no chance to get complacent.

H won a mechanical hand at a birthday party on Saturday, playing musical statues. It is now his fave thing, and it goes everywhere with us.

My mobile phone has died. I live to text, and feel cut off from the whole world!

In the office this avo, and London tomorrow, boo hiss.

HumphreysCorner · 09/06/2008 10:37

Morning ladies

Sophie does have chicken pox so now hoping Em gets it.

spin-what a rough night you all had. Nothing worse than changing wet bedding and PJs in the middle of the night. Take advantage of a meal out without sex I may add-you need your sleep!

flick-so of you getting away but you really so deserve it. Perhaps make it 3 bottles of Medised.

Waiting for my playhouse and seesaw to be delivered so can't really go in the back garden as I won't hear the doorbell.

Have a good day all. Have my first weigh in after my hols so expecting quite a gain.
