Hi Girls

Spin ? lol yes the hard stare is definitely one of Emma?s forte?s! Gorgeous pic of you three, Chili?s a handsome boy isn?t he? And Roshi?s looking so grown up and gorgeous.

Annie ? lol at K?s nest of hair, Emma usually has one on the go too!

Bloss ? what a fab pic - all three of you looking so gorgeous! Bummer about the job being so tedious, is it very commission based or do you get paid despite the tedium? Re the smacking, it?s so hard isn?t it. Completely sympathise. I lose my rag, smack Emma?s hand and feel like shit afterwards ? it can be just so hard to get through to them, especially when they are doing something stupid and/or dangerous. Am v worried about what it will be like when she?s older. I?ve got that book, really must sit down and actually read it

HC ? what a gorgeous pair of little ladies! They do look quite alike now. Sophie has changed quite a lot, has she got fairer?

Impy ? wonderful pics, love the one of you and Ry in the woods, magical. Emma does lots of babbling and doesn?t make much sense either, but she doesn?t have the excuse of learning two languages Ry?ll be able to really wow everyone with his bilingual skills later on though!

Flick ? hope you can get things sorted with your DH soon and get a bit more support. Glad there?s light at the end of the tunnel with the builders too.

Wallace ? Leo?s such a sweetie, what a cheeky face. at his Houdini climbing skills

Welcome to MaryMungoMidge!

Jeanie ? great to hear from you but omg what a dreadful time you?re having! Hope wee Abbey?s foot heals soon, I guess they will heal fast at this age. Hope things get better VERY soon.

Catchingzeds ? yes we?ll be just over the water from you! Will CAT you to see if you are interested in meeting up any time. Emma?s not much heavier than Zack ? if our bathroom scales are to be believed she?s about 24 lbs. You?ll have to post a pic, we haven?t seen him for ages!!

Don?t think I?ve caught up with everyone yet, but will get back on later.

Emma is okay ? today?s incident was that I had to leave her in the garden for about 1 1/2 mins while I went for a wee. Got back to find that she had managed to open the recycling box and was swigging dregs from a can of cider, grinning away Hopefully DH rinsed the cans out before putting them in the box, but he probably didn?t? ugh. No Mummy of the Year award for me then.

Oh and we have finally exchanged ? so are moving next month to Cowes ? blimey

ImpyChica · 22/05/2008 19:46

Gorg pic Spin - and you look like a younger Geena Davis, you foxy minx! What a nightmare that Rosh has dropped her daytime nap - I say follow Pixel's lead and get her wasted on cider

LOL Pixel - don't fret darling! Ry's had many a swig of beer and even a wee taste of wine. DP has this big thing that Ryan should try new flavours... Congrats on exchanging - what a relief! Hope the move goes well...

Hugs to everyone else. Impy xxx

TheGoddessBlossom · 22/05/2008 19:54

congrats on exchanging Pix! Cowes eh, how fab! It is not comm based thank god, so I can chug along quite happily earning zero commission, but obviously some extra would be nice, and I don't think they will be particularly happy if I just chug along for much longer.....

So - I bet I can beat whatever you lot have been up to today. This morning saw me playing an African drum with 250 people a la this It really was quite fantastic. The noise it made, and the guidance they gave, we were making some serious sounds man! Fabulous, and better than any cheesy "let's all work as a team" initiative I have ever done before and I've done a few...

and then this afternoon saw me legging it round Liverpool Street/Threadneedle Street attempting to scavenge a wheelbarrow (success) and old boot (success) a top hat (no joy) and answering a load of questions on tube maps and Liverpool Street station to try and beat 29 other teams to first prize...the things I find myself doing. Oh well, beats a proper job and it was bliss to be in london in jeans and trainers and COMFORTABLE for a change instead of lugging a laptop and tottering in heels and a too-tight suit.

Boys were sorted by their dad tonight, so that was fab too!

Right, have white wine to drink, and fish in breadcrumb to cook, ciao for now [beats drum in goodbye]

Bloss

TheGoddessBlossom · 22/05/2008 19:54

second Impy, totally gorgeous pic Spin, you are all so beeeyooteeful!!

TheGoddessBlossom · 22/05/2008 19:56

oh and I also can't believe Roshi has dropped nap, T still has at least 1.5 hours, usually 2, don't know how I'd cope without to be honest...

HumphreysCorner · 22/05/2008 21:12

Evening ladies

Oh, I am loving looking at all the uptodate pics. Can't believe they are nearly 2.

Bloss-sounds like you had a really great day. Am a tad if I am honest. ROFL at the vision of you tottering down the street, hair neatly tied back clutching a laptop. Is your hair naturally curly by the way as it is lovely.

spin-Roshi is doing well dropping her sleep. Even Emma at nearly 5 sometimes has an afternoon nap. That is a nice pic of the 3 of you. Are you sure you need to be dieting as you look fine to me.

Pixel-yay, exchanged at last! Busy and excitng time ahead for you all. Yes, Sophie has turned fairer as her hair has grown. My hair goes really blond in the summer only to darken again in the winter.

ceebee-sorry Man Utd won. I don't tend to follow much UK football as I don't find it as enthralling as international games but have to admit I favour Caught up with the Apprentice this morning though.

Impy-isn't Ryan's hair white? When I was 5 mine was that colour and everyone thought I was really old because of my white hair-lol. Was sad when it went really dark then lightened again a few years later.

Happy Birthday Jeanie!

Waves to Wallace, Maewest, flick, Annie et all.

Am watching 13 Kids and Wanting More-blimey, are they mad?????

TheGoddessBlossom · 22/05/2008 21:25

DH is watching that I can't bear it so am on MN instead. Dh just sits there getting cross.

Agree with HC Spin, no need for weight loss as far as I can see.

Impy Ry looks totally edible, gorgeous!

HC, yes naturally curly, prefer it these days since I had it cut, don't have to do anything to it apart from put some goo in it to stop it frizzing. You can't tell from that picture but it is very short at the back...

AnnieAreYouOkAreYouOkAnnie · 23/05/2008 11:15

Oh Flick, Ceebee .
I decided just before the penalties that I wanted Chelsea to win... Cos of meeting Frank and John you know! But also cos I hate that Ronaldo's slimy face. Sorry.
Poor Fairy boy. (JT). Felt so sorry for him.

We had a visit from the cops last night!!!
They were after the bloke upstairs, and he wasn't answering (don't think he was in), but they wouldn't tell us what for. His girlfriend was in, we heard her, but didn't answer and they forced entry!! Dunno what that was about. Exciting though, having a nice policeman walking though our flat.

Gotta go girls, another person to train. Where are they all coming from!

Hi ladies!

Annie - ooh, tell me more about meeting John and Frank - you have never mentioned that before! Tell me tell me! And why Fairy boy? Bless him, I felt so sorry for him as it wasn't his fault - as for Anelka, the internet would turn blue it I typed what I thought about him

Anyway, will take me a while to get over the disappointment (if only it had been ANYONE apart from Man Utd)

Lovely lovely photos of all the children and you all - having met Spin in RL she is as beautiful as she looks in the photo!! As are her children obviously I have to say that the July toddlers must be the cutest, most gorgeous bunch EVER!!

Pixel - great news about the house! You better get packing those boxes. Don't worry about the cider - Josh is always ferreting in our recycling box which is in the kitchen and often drinks the dregs of diet coke, fanta, beer and even red wine at one point

Bloss - my DH has done the African drum team-building aswell. Twas a few years ago and I think he was embarrassed at first but really got into at the end. Sure beats my day of sitting in the office!

I am very sorry to everyone else - I really can't catch up with you all as it has been so long since I last posted

Josh is now saying 2-word sentences on a regular basis now - such as Mama off, more cheese, mama cuddle etc. His favourite, though, is when we are watching Nick Junior and they often put 4 different episodes of the same programme on one after another (Peppa Pig etc) and once the credits come up after the first one, he stands there going 'more pig, more pig' or 'more Thomas, more Thomas' - me thinks he is watching too much tv

Not much else to report - he is in the process of moving into the big room at nursery which is good in one way as he is more than ready to move out of the baby room and I hope it will bring his speech on - but the big room goes upto school age and some of the children are so big!!

Anyway, this has turned into a bit of an essay and all about me - I will try harder to keep more up-to-date (even though I know I keep saying that aswell )

AnnieAreYouOkAreYouOkAnnie · 23/05/2008 14:19

Ceebee LOL! I 'met' Frank in Harrods, don't you know, when I was pg with Joey, and we were just browsing (couldn't afford anything!!), and he was there with his girlfriend who I think was pg at the time too. DH went up to him and got his photo with him, and asked him to take it easy on Newcastle on Saturday. He scored two against us!
Then JT was in Bluewater, the following Christmas I think it was, and DH did the same (took me ages to take the photo, there was a big queue of boys behind us then!) and he was just after coming out of the Fairy Shop. With a Fairy bag...
Josh's speech is great! I don't care about letting them watch too much TV, I think Joey learnt most of his vocab from Peppa Pig!!

Bloss you are a busy bee.

Pixle Congrats on the exchange!! Brill!
It's good for Emma to taste new things! By forbidding it, it will only make her want it more!! LOL. Did she sleep well that night?!

Spin gorgeous photo of you three!
'Nest' is just the word I was looking for! Russell Brand comes to mind too!!! I have to get de-tangle spray at it every morning... sigh...
Still hit and miss with her day-time naps. She never wants to go for a nap, but will drop off sometimes if I sit quietly with her and a bottle and send Joey off to do something quiet somewhere else. Other days she just completely won't go to sleep at all. Like Roshi then she is very cranky come 5pm, and often drops off herself during or jsut after dinner. Then she'll sleep til around 8 or 9 and get up again for an hour or sometimes more. So she's definitly not ready to drop it, but just by pure will-power manages to stay awake.
She's even started staying awake even if DH takes her out in the pram or car now, which used to be a given.
Ah well!

Oh yeah, we've decided on 'bits' for her, eh, bits!!! Yesterday she was sitting on the toilet and she pointed down there and said
'no, willy wonka, mammy',
and I said, 'no, that's your vulva'
Mimi: woo-wa?
Me: yes, vulva.
Mimi: no, mammy, bips!
Me: yes, your bits!
Mimi: BIPS!
So, let's see... it may already be too late...

Ok, have a lovely weekend lovely ladies!!

so H lobs at toy at T in the bath tonight and cuts just below his eye. How oh How do I curb these outbursts. "DON'T TAKE ANY PASTA OUT OF MY JAR MUMMEEE PLEEEEEEEASE!" He knows instantly that he has done wrong. Bloody kids.

Spin, enjoy your gin and don't worry about weight loss. It is clear you are postively stunning as you are, who gives a toss about a few kg, will you really be bothered when you are 65? [bloss says as she slurps her 3rd glass of white and hefts into her 2nd fajita]

aGalChangedHerName · 24/05/2008 08:05

Morning girls

I am blardy knackered!! Dd1 is unwell again and Eilidh has a tooth coming through so not much sleep here for the past few nights.

Spin nice to see you back and sooo glad Roshi's results came back ok. Lovely picture of the 3 of you,you dont need to lose anymore, you look fab!!

Nice pic of you too Bloss, you are a little skinny minnie, must be all the drum playing etc lol.

Sooo glad the footy is coming to an end. DH and the boys laugh at me but it bores me witless. The thuggery and bigoted fans make me sick too. It is good mind you cos i take myself off out for the duration, for meals out with mates and to the gym so DH is left to do bath/bed before the footy comes on lol.Girls always seem to play up and he misses the 1st half.

Looking at all these pics is great,i really really need to learn how to post pics. My girls are looking uber cute atm.

Must go,the dd's want brekkie, must be feeling a bit better this morning.

Have a good day all xx

Hi ladies

Remember me? I haven't been in for ages, must be coming up to a year as I remember wishing happy birthday to the little ones. It'll soon be that time of year again before we know it. Have looked on here occasionally but really haven't a clue what you're all up to. Hope you're all doing well, I'm sure there's probably a few younger siblings around and/or on the way by now.

Amelia is going well - its all chat, chat, chat these days. She doesn't stop and is (as I'm sure they all are) so adorable at the mo. Don't know what I'm doing on here now as I had plans to get out and enjoy the weather as the rest of the weekend and coming week (half term, of course!) is supposed to be rubbish. Was up and organised early just seem to have been distracted! DH is away for work this week and have enjoyed actually getting a look in on the computer, normally don't bother as its already taken.

Am still SAHM but currently looking for some work - maybe starting off with weekends if I can get any (as childcare costs would be zero) and then come September when DS starts school may look into a couple of days in the week as well. The money would def come in handy and just feel I need to get back into things as its been a while! Feel it would make me appreciate my time with the kids better too. Anyway, enough rambling MUST get going out. Will try not leave it so long between posts now.
