Well?

OP posts:

Goodness fairy, how scary! I do try and be careful about what he can get hold of, but dd does leave things lying around. Most of her toys have been banished to the bedroom now. Hope he is ok though, poor thing! Very cool about the walking! Ds can do a couple of steps before he gets bored and sinks to his knees, but 5-6 is very impressive!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 20:30

Sorry foxy, I missed that post. I enter loads of comps and stuff all the time, I think I won it from here.

Not sure about dp's job. He hasn't heard back from anyone about it yet, so he's not sure there is still an opening.

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 20:39

Yes Fairy - thats so scary. We have rules, and she'll be in a playpen when mobile.

Well done to DS walking too! Can't believe these mobile babies. None of that here - although she is showing signs of genius on the clapping/waving front!

FrazzledFairyFay · 26/03/2008 20:41

That's a good prize Holly. I enter loads of comps too but haven't won anything for absolutely ages.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 20:43

I always enter comps for good stuff and the crappy stuff. So far I have won £50 worth of OzKleen stuff and that cutlery. Why can't I win a house or a pushchair or something good?!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 20:45

Maxi dresses? Yay or nay?

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 20:45

Ozkleens good...

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 20:46

Yay on you, nay on me

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 20:50

I'm not sure, I'm thinking good summer wear with flip flops, but maybe I'll look like a weirdo hippy!

Sputnik · 26/03/2008 20:50

As you're tall Holly, I think you'd look great in a maxi dress.

Sputnik · 26/03/2008 20:53

And what's wrong with looking like a wierdo hippy?

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 20:57

Nothing sputnik

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 20:58

I love this one, but far too expensive.

foxythesnowman · 26/03/2008 21:01

ooh, that's lovely!

WHERE'S MY FUCKING CAR KEY???!!!

Sputnik · 26/03/2008 21:01

Actually, think my look is more "ageing goth".
Can't seem to find anything I like that isn't black (throws crucifix and eyeliner at Holly)

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 21:03

I'd describe my style as boho shabby chic (in other words I like floaty things, but can't be arsed to iron them)!

Sputnik · 26/03/2008 21:03

On the mantlepiece Foxy?
Umm... checked your pockets? Interrogated toddlers?

HellHathNoFury · 26/03/2008 21:05

hello all

Am v tired, had a rough night - DS was teething and we were up 6 times.
Work was crappy.
I have baked some brownies, I am going to take them in to work tomorrow then perhaps they'll cut me some slack

Holly am v impressed at DS eating with a spoon! And Fairy 6 steps is great too.

So anyway - I am off to bed. Am knackered.

Hope the x-rays go ok norty.

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 21:05

Have you removed the sofa cushions foxy and looked down there? My keys are always in the sofa somewhere!

HellHathNoFury · 26/03/2008 21:06

My RL mate/HV told me my 'look' was Chav at a funeral... I was wearing black joggers and a black hoody, she turned up unannounced!

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 21:06

Hey fury! I'm actually surprised you are still able to function! You are some sort of super woman! Baking brownies as well?! WOW!

Sputnik · 26/03/2008 21:07

I rather like this one, and much cheaper. If I end up blowing loads of money on the Monsoon site it'l be all your fault.

Sputnik · 26/03/2008 21:08

Second that Fury. LOL at "chav at a funeral"

HollyPutTheKettleOn · 26/03/2008 21:08

Oooo bargain! And they have my size! Now I have to find dp's wallet! He is asleep on the sofa with dd, so I can spend his money! WOOHOO!

HellHathNoFury · 26/03/2008 21:10

not super woman, not at all - I swear that it is SO much easier working than being a SAHM, I kid ye not.
But you do get an extra loading of guilt, especially when you see they have a better relationship with their soft toys than they do with you, or when they are a bit ill and you still pack them off to nursery because work is just so much more important
