Thanks Foxy - ever the voice of experience....will try that. Something tells me she'll have a bum explosion when it does happen . Its very unusual for her. She's also dribbling like I've never seen before....fountains running down her tummy so probably a bit of teething as well.

milkyJammy · 22/02/2008 19:47

Sorry about your odd head sensations Daisy, doesn't sound pleasant at all.

I like chilli chocolate. In fact am really looking forward to finishing the current box of hot chocolate so that we can try the chilli hot chocolate we bought from Whittards. But that lavender chocolate sounds yum too, have instructed DH to look for it in Waitrose. He bought me a lavender cup cake from Waitrose cake counter on my birthday and it was lush, so would recommend those too btw, as long as you've got a sweet tooth.

OK, time to go check on our tea - smoked salmon & pasta, same as the Jamlet had. She polished off a HUGE load of it, and had 3/4 of a pear afterwards too, so hoping for another restful night.

milkyJammy · 22/02/2008 19:48

And Norty, when the Jamlet got "bunged up" we put some orange juice in her food and that seemed to help.

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 22/02/2008 19:57

foxythesnowman · 22/02/2008 20:00

I am getting seriously bored with these weekends on my own. [grumpy emoticon]

foxythesnowman · 22/02/2008 20:01

I used to epilate mine

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 22/02/2008 20:01

weirdy headachey thing getting much better, but I have a dull ache now and have taken some co-codamol which is helping. Will make an appointment to see the doc on Monday, but realistically what can they do about it? I thought migraine was just something you had to grin and bear?

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 22/02/2008 20:04

for the record....

I DON'T HAVE HAIRY TOES!!!!!!!!

cowbag

am off to drink herbal tea (the joy) and read my trashy novel.

Night all.

foxy, sorry your DP is away again, you have my empathy on absent DP syndrome

milkyJammy · 22/02/2008 20:04

Don't know anything about migraines I'm afraid, but I have got hairy toes. And two of my toes aren't quite as separated as the others are

milkyJammy · 22/02/2008 20:05

Oh dear, have I said too much? Am I going to have to kill you all now you know my dirty secret?

milkyJammy · 22/02/2008 20:05
Grin
milkyJammy · 22/02/2008 20:25

So where is DP, Foxy?

milkyJammy · 22/02/2008 20:27

OK, I'm off to watch TV with DH. Night all.

BadZelda · 22/02/2008 21:03

I have got hairy toes!

Sputnik · 22/02/2008 21:08

Daisy, you might well already have seen this thread about dealing with boys. You might find it useful. (I am preparing myself)

Sputnik · 22/02/2008 21:11

I also have hairy toes (well just the big toes).
So does anyone on this thread actually not have hairy toes?

foxythesnowman · 22/02/2008 21:15

Mine are no longer hairy.

Have just realised there are two small boys who I have forgotten to put to bed

N'nite xx

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 22/02/2008 21:16

I don't! Seriously am least hairy person I know. I don't even have hairy arms (well only very fine almost invisible ones). And I only shave my legs at the start of summer, never need to bikini wax and can go two weeks before my pits need doing.

saves me a fortune on hair removal

why am i still here????

LardyMardyDaisyBoo · 22/02/2008 21:18

thanks sputnik

an definately off this time before something else sucks me in!

FairyFay · 22/02/2008 21:41

I have just spent 1 1/2 hours catching up and now everyone seems to have gone away [sob].

Oh well, I shall talk to myself.... Hello! Sorry to hear about unwell lo's. Daisy, could you be our first pg member? How exciting. I think I need to give my DS more interesting food . Sorry, I can't remember anything else, I am shattered.

We had a really lovely week in Cornwall here. The weather was fantastic, the hotel was lovely and the staff were fab. I would definitely recommend it if anyone is looking for a child-friendly break in the UK. The DCs went to the kids club for 2 hours on 3 mornings, they loved it and DH and I had a massage and lounged in the pool. It was lovely!

Sputnik · 22/02/2008 21:59

Welcome back FF

FairyFay · 22/02/2008 22:06

Thanks Sputnik. We had a lovely holiday but it's nice to be home. Althoug Holly's tales of the stress of dealing with 2 has reminded me of what I'm in for again come monday morning..... I have really got used to having DH's help this week as well as beaches, etc to entertain DD. Thankfully DS has more or less mastered sitting down again once he's pulled himself up to standing - he was covered in bumps as he used to just let go and fall over.

Sputnik · 22/02/2008 22:06

That place looks really nice.
