yes pesha - well done maia does she take after her Mummy?

I am probably over reacting a bit.......I know we can't stay here forever, his boss is horrible and I would probably have told him to shove it ages ago.

on the plus side he would have less work to do - for more money and he would be at home a lot more.....am pretty much a single mum most of the time at the moment . And I think I am being a bit snobbish - most people like having neighbours fgs!(am a bit worried we would get evicted because of the noise levels ) but tbh I don't know what to do for the best. We will probably have a chat about it later - we haven't had a chance to discuss it properly yet...

Hi all! Yay!!!!!!!!! I went to a meet up!!!! And it was fab I was so pleased at how all the older dc's played so happily together, especially since they didnt actually know each other at the start. Ds had a brilliant time and keeps asking me when he can see his new friends again.
Pesha, he wanted to know if he could come round to Maia's house! I tried to explain that you live a little bit too far away to pop in for a cup of tea Fab news about Maia and the literacy group thing too, clever girl

Pillock, I just wanted to say to you, I remember a few weeks ago you saying about contacting ss as you thought your boys would be bettter off elsewhere. Please do not ever think that again. Having met you yesterday, I can honestly say that you are a brilliant mum. Matthew is a gorgeous, polite and well behaved little boy, and clearly that is through your parenting. I am sure that Joe will be just as lovely as he gets older, he is gorgeously scrummy now! Anyway, just wanted to say that to you xx

Ange, haircut is lovely!

Maveta, glad you had a good weekend, and lovely news about another baby boy

Runny, bathroom will def be worth it in the end. Shame is that you have to endure such a mess first!

Ok, cant remember any more. Have a good evening all xxx

Caz, meant to say that I totally understand your reservations about the new house. It really is a difficult decision. Having dh home a lot more would be a great help I am sure, but changing your living circumstances so much would be very hard too. Would it mean new schools for the children too?

PMSL Ange, she does that here too!! I dont get a look in!

And Caz - of course maia takes after her mummy! Unfortunately she has my attitude and stubborness too

MJ - it really was great wasnt it. Will have to try and do it again!

Report
cazboldy · 03/02/2008 19:25

thought she must do Pesha

stubborness can also be perseverance - a good quality

no MJ we wouldn't have to change schools - in fact would halve the distance on the school run.......quite a big deal....it costs me on average £85 a week to run our truck....

Ds was absolutely exhausted as he had literally run around all afternoon! Refused to sleep in the car though, told me he needed a blanket and pillow and to lie flat!
F, on the other hand, slept all the way home which was fab. Managed to find my way out ok thanks to the sat nav, rather than getting lost like I did on the way in!

Definitely must do it again in the warmer weather (for oooggs!). Horseworld was a lovely place and I think all the dc's enjoyed themselves.

at £85 a week caz! At least the dc's wouldnt have to move schools which is good. Would it be a semi then? Assuming it would be since you are worried about the noise.

Its bedtime MJ!! Not mine, if only!

Glad you made it home without getting lost again!! Horseworld was good, seemed to have enough there to keep them all enterained all day and I think they have more things happening from March onwards too. Seems fairly central too although I do feel bad that its only an hour for me and was over 2 hours for Oooggs and a long way for you and RH too wasnt it?!

Oh yes Oooggs - definitely let me know when you're coming up to Clarks Village, I'm always looking for a good excuse to go there and buy things. I love getting myself a bargain! In fact its got to the point where I really resent having to buy anything at full price!
