Eids at all your hospital drama. I can just imagine all the blood. I would panicking and screaming too
Fingers crossed that it all heals up fine, I'm sure it will.

Ronnie's arm is fine, we have to go back to clinic in june to waste a morning waiting for some old duffer consultant to declare he has fully recovered even without examining him cynic moi??

Dd3 is recovering now, the dr said that she must have had a long line of different bugs. Finally no diarrhoea!!!!!!!!

Foxy did you have a great birthday party? Well done on getting a holiday sorted, it will be fun finding out where you're going to go!

Diva, poor you are you all any better? Will your mum be a help or hinderance?
Is there anything you can do re the bullying? What are the girls doing? They can be so awful

Sponge, I remember that dd1 had a horrible welt on her leg after some jabs when she was 4 months old. It's still there just not so obvious, bloody useless nurse

Evenhope, fence/boundry disputes are so tedious aren't they? Hope your neighbours mend the fence.

fitfox · 26/04/2008 18:59

Eids - oh poor you and your poor DD3!! I am sure it will heal up OK - kids seem to heal pretty quickly don't they (if she can resist chewing on it

Had some bubbly this afternoon so feeling lazy - feels lik a nice long barmy summer day here :

DCs atching Dr Who, which seems not as good as the last two

fitfox · 26/04/2008 19:00

spongecake · 26/04/2008 22:53

foxy, how exciting, they are all nice places to go aren't they, when do you find out?

kitty, i think you are right. she seemed to do it at a funny angle.
when is rosy back? she seems to have been gone for ages

everyone seems to have had a sunny day- its been a bit pants here tbh. still hope you all had lots of fresh air

Divastrop · 26/04/2008 23:11

eids-at hospital drama.hope dd is ok now.

its been peeing of rain all day here

i am a wee bit tipsy as been to see dd1's play and had to wait in the bar with my mother while dd went to the after show party.i had one bacardi and coke and a glass of wine and im plastered.i had to comeback early as dd2 wouldnt settle for dh.

kitty-my mum a help?lol.the dc are a PITA with her around as they think they can get away with murder, and all she does is moan.sofar she has commented on :-
.the state of the carpet
.the number of men ive slept with
.dh's non-employed situation
.allowing ds1 to go out alone to various local places('he's 10.5!','so?')

i have resonded by telling her she doesnt have to go to church, she is just doing it because shes been told she will burn in hell if she doesnt.she looked at me like i was mad though.

spongecake · 26/04/2008 23:16

diva, you sound like you need another drink. its sunday tomorrow, so i guess she'll be up early? perhaps she could bring up tea before off to the church? vicars eh? the one day week. JOKE
i have made heroic effort not to grumble about my mil and fil after the holiday on this thread but can feel resolve crumbling dh says she wants to be my friend

Rosylily · 28/04/2008 15:06

WOMEN'S ARSE SIZE STUDY..........

There is a new study about women and how they feel about their arses. The results are pretty interesting:

30% of women think their arse is too fat.........

10% think their arse is too skinny......

The remaining 60% say they don't care,
they love him, he's a good man and they wouldn't trade him for the world.

Rosylily · 28/04/2008 15:11

Ooh I'm absolutely ecstatic to be back online so I can come and moan with you pack of moaning minnies I've missed you lot so much
(((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))
kisses air at everyone.

Now what have I missed? It's going to take me donkeys to catch up.

kittywise · 28/04/2008 19:43

Hooray, Rosy's back!!!!! xxxxxxxxxxxx to you Rosy, great to have you back
Did you have a decent time away?
Not too many illnesses etc?

Lots of us have men probs

fitfox · 28/04/2008 21:20

PMSL Rosy!! So good to have you back

Tell us all about your holiday, Missus!!!

spongecake · 28/04/2008 22:19

hi rosy, nice to have you back hope it went ok and there were no shoes being thrown

Rosylily · 29/04/2008 10:31

Phew, I've been trying to catch up on the thread a bit.

Shanks - congratulations, what an amazing birth! Love the name My dh missed the birth of dd by 15 minutes too, it is a shame but at least he was there soon after.

Jay brilliant that you are having an easy time with Cooper (thank goodness for that!)

Evenhope I'm glad I see your post about the plane fright before I flew that sounded so scary! Thank goodness nothing dreadful happened and you got back safely.

Reverssy I'm shocked and horrified by the behaviour of your hubby How can he not appreciate you? You are scrumptious. If he loses you it'll be just about the stupidist and most self destructive thing he could do. I hope he wises up and fast otherwise you will find someone lovely to cop off with and he'll be a sorry boy!

I see everyone has been having a nightmare with sick kiddies- much sympathy, it's been the same with me. One thing after another. After Pakistan we came home with the runs and promptly caught another sicky bug, dd was touch and go hospital trip with dehydration, she had a swollen face and blood and protein in her urine but she recovered in a few days.
Then ds2 came down with chicken pox, the others haven't got it but might yet.

In the man trouble category... when we got back from Pakistan dh and I had a big fall out. Divorce was discussed, we huffed for a week. Now we are working on the basis that our marriage was a mistake but we need to work on it and try to make the best of things.

Our trip was quite good though and we all had mostly a nice time. Nice and sunny.

Ooh there were disgusting massive brown cockroaches and one stood on my foot in the market one day and I jumped a mile (shudder)
There were three colourfull weddings over there. I'll eventually get sorted with some piccys.

Hasan is not walking yet. Or talking much. He does stand up on his own so he's getting there, and he says 'that' and yesterday I was delighted when he started tickling me and saying 'tickle, tickle, tickle'

Rosylily · 29/04/2008 10:35

oops that should be didn't see.

Still breast feeding loads and still no af for me.

bethoo · 29/04/2008 10:45

Eids- hope los fingers are gettign better. how frightening.

welcome back Rosy, soudns like you had a good time, i love weddings, the best day of a married life!

had a surprise visist from the parents yesterday, imagine my horror as the kitchen was a tip, cat vomit on the floor, sticky work tops and baking trays and everythign from the oven piled al overthe place! i ahd to ban them from the kitchen even though the vomit was in full view! aaaaarrrrrrgggghhhh. at least the rest of the house was fine so no doubt they are discussing the welfare of my ds!!

Rosylily · 29/04/2008 11:25

Oh yes Eids I read that and know how easily it can happen, Hasan loves joining the others in the toilet when they are in. It happened to my friends dd and she had an awfull time trying to recover, it was nasty.

Oh and Muppet I'm so delighted to see that things are going well for your sister, I've got everything crossed for her.

Thanks for the welcomes by the way

Bethoo, your kitchen sounds like mine

muppetisacat · 29/04/2008 11:29

Hello to all and sorry haven't posted in a while - I have tried to catch up with all your news - off to read some more now.

Glad you had good trip Rosy and are safely home and recovered from bugs.

My house is still crawling with builders and i have turned into a tea lady.

No other excitement from me... my sis is 18 weeks and seems to be going strong!

Divastrop · 29/04/2008 11:50

hooray!!rosy is back!!!

and muppet!!!where havve you been?

rosy-glad all went ok-ish.did you get a bug and loose a stone like you said?hope all the lo's are ok.

bethoo-i wouldnt be able to cope with a surprise visit from my mum.its bad enough when i have 6 weeks notice and she still finds something to comment on in the house.

she has gone back now.i can smoke relax again.

the step dad of the 2 PITA girls from the back street came knocking on the door on sunday because dh went out there and told them to leave dd1 alone or theyd have him to deal with.so the sdad came and started having a go at dh for threatening them, and saying he was lucky their real dad wasnt about at the time because he wouldnt have been so calm.dh said 'i dont care, tell him to come and see me and i will tell him his daughters are bullies' or words to that effect.
ive had a word with the next door but one neighbour who has said her oldest dd has been a total cow since starting senior school and she will have a word with her.at least she seems to care what her kids are up to....

dh is being great at the moment but i keep having anxiety dreams because i feel needy and vulnerable.

Elsie has started standing alone for a few seconds.she is also cutting another tooth judging by her nappies, and the amount of night-waking shes been doing.

dh and i went out for a meal sunday night and i had another 2 glasses of wine and im still hungover

hi to everyone else!

Rosylily · 29/04/2008 11:59

Diva your dh probably likes it that you need him you know!
I lost 11 lbs - every cloud has a silver lining! keeping it off so far...hoping to lose a bit more in due course! (but I love chocolate too much)

Diva with you on the teeth/ nappies/ night waking aaaaarrrrgggghhhhh!

Rosylily · 30/04/2008 10:25

Anyone looking for holiday ideas? This is my friends cottagehere
isn't it cute? Foxy aren't you tempted?!!!

It is very quiet on here isn't it? Where is everyone? living real life or something equally ludicrous?

Hasan has 2 or 3 spots that look like chicken pox, it's 2 weeks since ds2 had it...

fitfox · 30/04/2008 13:41
