Divastrop · 20/04/2008 23:10

we had nice weather this morning so i decided to take the dc to the big park after lunch, but by the afternoon it was freezing cold and trying to rain.they still enjoyed themselves, plus the minature railway was open so they had a ride on that.

kitty-is your dd3 still the new asbo?my dd2 was telling everyone to 'move' in the park.

she was standing at her bedroom window yesterday shouting the name of one of the boys next door, and Elsie joined in with her.

kittywise · 21/04/2008 07:10

Diva, dd3 is a kind of asbo, but she's very funny with it, her latest choices expressions are 'stop it, go away, no like and get off"!!!

It was really hot here until late afternoon, real t shirt weather.
Right better get on and get the kids up!

fitfox · 21/04/2008 12:11

Oh dear my biggest tw are both ASBOs atm.

Yesterday we decanted them into sunny garden for "nice play"

They start fighting immediately..

DD (in screaming, rasping witch-like voice): "Shut up, shut up, shut up - you big stupid thing!!!"

Me: shouts outside to tell DS1 to stop being mean to her (he was being mean to her)

DS1: "Oh just f*ck off, you ^hate me don't you?!!" nice and loud and clear as a bell, just so that none of the neighbours could mistake what he'd said

He then spent the next hour sulking in the playhouse while DD and Monti played happily wth all his toys in his absence

kittywise · 21/04/2008 17:50

Of Foxy, if one of my kids said that to me I belt them

fitfox · 21/04/2008 21:39

Kitty I was livid and intended to make him come and sit inside for a while for being so naughty but he was hiding and I had really bad period pains and couldn't be arsed to go outside - so he just sulked for an hour, by which time I couldn't be bothered to do anything (oh he knows me so well )

Have just caught him filming DD's bum and trying to put it on YouTube!!!!

Divastrop · 21/04/2008 22:21

that is,at the bum thing, not the fuck off.that is mild compared to what ds2 has been coming out with recently.he taught dd2 to say 'fuck off' then shouted 'mum!Gloria said fuck off!!'
now,i know he has got 'oh for fucks sake' off me,as i have been saying that rather too much recently when dd1 has been coming in teliing me the kids in the street are being nasty to her again, but he has been saying other things like 'bastard' which isnt a word dh or i use.

fitfox · 22/04/2008 13:17

Diva - my DD called a toddler at a MN meet up a "little B*stard"

I am slightly concerned about DS1's actions - am rather wondering where he got the idea from IYKWIM . I think maybe an older sibling of one of his friends has been showing them stuff on internet? Or maybe this is the result of us having had The Sun newspaper in the house recently!!!!

Piffle · 22/04/2008 17:49

oh I'd go mental if mine swore at me like that. I do let them say the odd swear word just quietly with me if they need.ds1 has started to use light ones in context he is14 and says bloody hell. I swear a wee bit but the kids are taught do as i do not as I say
Finn said shit today though! I was in the bath and he was outside of it and hurled a full shampoo bottle at me. No doubt trying to be helpful but I said holy shit and he said shhit and smiled.
I must learn to hold my Tongue. Dd was speech delayed so had no worries there. Finn is not!!!
am so crabby atm aaarghhhh

Callieco · 23/04/2008 20:01

Hello, am still here scanning the thread when I can [waves]. Sorry to hear of hubby troubles, keep chins up and knees too if necessary .

Am skiving in work but had better get on with it or will be here till all hours (again).

kittywise · 23/04/2008 22:46

hello all, I've come for a moan. Last night i was woken 5 times by three different children. God, just when I think this bug is finished they get ill again. I'm so shattered.

I was quite worried about dd3 this afternoon. She had become ill again yesterday, temp etc and was of course grotty today. I drugged her up to the eyeballs this morning an he slept for a lot of the afternoon.

Then after she woke up at about 3 pm she was very low and at about 4 she started to turn a shade of blotchy blue, her face was very pale and her lips were blue.
She was shivering and shaking and asking for a blanket.
I brought the buggy into the kitchen, sat her in it, wrapped her up, gave her loads of drugs and as I cooked she was rambling on and on and on in a half delirious manner.
Given that I can't understand most of what she says anyway, she's only 2, this was something to be heard!!

I said to my mil that she sounds like an aged relative who you have stuck in the corner and every now and again they come out with a load of drivel interspersed with terms of abuse!! For dd3 we can have a whole unprovoked tirade of " No, stop it, go away, no like, bleugh ewww"

She seems at bit better now.

Ronnie of course has taken full advantage of the situation and likes to pull her hair and push her around. He finds the pushing hard as he weighs as much as a feather and she is a ten tonne tessa!
He has also been going around wrecking the girls' camps in a very boy like manner

Sorry for the moan up, I needed to vent.

kittywise · 24/04/2008 14:57

Moan to myself then

fitfox · 24/04/2008 19:24

blimey where is everyone?

fitfox · 24/04/2008 19:25

Kitty how is DD3 now?

Piff I am already mentall

Callie "knees up"? is that a reference to what we need to do to improve our relationships with DH/DPs?

Divastrop · 24/04/2008 21:50

hello.

((((hugs))))-kitty.hope dd3 is feeling better now.

i have only just sat down for the evening as dd1 is in a play at the theatre and i had to pick her up.

ds2 had the squits last night and then just as he was going to bed tonight he threw up all over the bathroom floor.then half hour later i threw up.my mother is coming up tomorrow as we are seeing dd1's play on saturday.the house is a tip and now ds2 will be off school tomorrow.

what with that and the bloody crap ive been having with the kids next door but one picking on my kids(the oldest girl has got it in for dd1 and has her sister plus 3 other girls who live on the street ganging up on her)ive just about had it.

Divastrop · 24/04/2008 22:13

piffles going to start a new thread

Divastrop · 24/04/2008 22:16

look

Jaysfinished · 25/04/2008 11:04

LOL, nice one Diva - and Piff!

evenhope · 25/04/2008 13:52

Well we are supposed to be at M&T group but DD has picked now to go to sleep. So I have 5 minutes to post.

Kitty is DD3 any better? Sounds quite frightening that she was so out of it.

DD still not walking or talking but has been sleeping through the night for almost a week (speak too soon). It's amazing what a difference it makes.

Just been having a fence dispute with our brand new neighbour. He asked when we were going to fix it- we said we weren't as it isn't ours.. Got the proof through from the solicitor (£58 ) and it turns out that the people there before declared on the form to the solicitors etc that we own it Shouldn't be surprised as they were a PITA when they lived there.

spongecake · 25/04/2008 22:46

hi there, am back from hols..

have skimmed the posts - reversy, i hope bertie is ok now, you must have been so worried. and your dh.. didn't you want to split a few months ago? he sounds a bit batty re share but not be together. re trial separation- does he realise that you might not actually be waiting by the door for his return? and like him not being there. that is a very risky strategy on his part. i had a bf who tried that years ago, and i met someone else much nicer -HAH!

my ds has had a jab for pneu. but has a horrible welt getting worse where the nurse injected him. am quite worried.

sazzy, good luck re garden leave.
bethoo, a cm i know doesn't charge like that- yours sounds very greedy and plays on knowing you need her. you could call a local baby group and ask for advice/ names?

diva, lol re bras and sorry about the bullying

waves at others i have missed

Callieco · 26/04/2008 12:27

Doh?

Friend, not "feind"

and "gorgeous" - not "groggy"

eidsvold · 26/04/2008 14:30

kitty sorry to hear about illness - and others who have had little ones who are not well.

We had an A and E visit with dd3 - she managed to get her finger sliced open by dd2. Dd2 is particular about no one bothering her when she is on the loo. Dd3 likes to sit outside and open the door - so dd2 gets cranky and slams the door as hard as she can - slicing dd3's pinky finger open. Cue lots of screaming - dd3, dh and I at each other, and together at poor dd2. Blood everywhere.

Off we go to a and e - they dither over whether to stitch or just bandage it with steri strips etc.

Cue stupid mother alert - I almost pass out and just about throw dd3 out of my arms at one of the docs. It seems the smell of a certain liquid they use to clean wounds makes me faint so cue them taking dd3 off for xray and me laying on her tiny child bed trying not to pass out.

We finally get head home - and I managed to glance at dd3 part way home - she has the whole bandage off and is sucking on the supposed waterproof plaster trying to chew it off. I am parked in some dodgy shut down petrol station forecourt at some ridiculous hour of the night rebandaging her hand whilst she is laughing at me.

so we have an appt in a week and have to keep it clean and dry - told to take bandage off to let her hand rest - do so only to forget to put it on when she goes down for a sleep. Instead of sleeping - she has chewed the bandaid off and taken all the steristrip closures off the cut!!!! Back to hospital for new dressing. Doc gets out cleaner I say oh no don't use that - he thinks I am mad but thankfully does not use it.

Phew - we just need to wait for the appt to see if it is healing okay otherwise fixing under a GA.

kitty - how is ronny's arm????

Foxy - probably sulking away for an hour was all he needed.

Dd3 has some words - dada, mumma, maamaa ( grandma) rara ( dd1), bath, bird, bider - for anything she is pointing to at the time. She certainly understands a lot - even - sit on your bottom as she is trying to stand up on the change table.

Walking - she is taking one or two steps but prefers to either walk holding our two hands or crawling. She loves to cruise and stand up just seems to not want to move. Dd2 was a bit like that but then took off at 18 months old and never looked back.

eidsvold · 26/04/2008 14:32

glad the weather is lifting for you lot. I really enjoyed the spring months in the UK especially considering we do not have clearly defined seasons over here - well perhaps we do - just two - hot and sunny, stormy summer then cooler sunny some rainy winter.
