foxythesnowman · 02/02/2008 14:39

is it bedtime yet?

FairyFay · 02/02/2008 14:41

Only another 4 hours or so, gulp

foxythesnowman · 02/02/2008 14:43

shit

FairyFay · 02/02/2008 14:45

Do you think they'd notice if I gave them tea , closed the curtains and put them to bed at 3:30?

milkyJammy · 02/02/2008 14:45

I've had enough! I just got downstairs from changing C's nappy (think chip shop curry sauce consistency and colour) and the cat was violently sick in 4 different places across the dining room floor, including under the table. So I've just been crawling round on my hands and knees, trying not to bang my head, cleaning up piles of cat vomit. The afternoon has to get better, right?

FairyFay · 02/02/2008 14:45

Actually, scrap that idea as they'd be up again at 3:30am, ugh

FairyFay · 02/02/2008 14:46

Oh no jammy, sounds awful - especially when you are feeling so rotten already

FairyFay · 02/02/2008 14:51

I feel that I should take the DCs out as it's sunny but I'm shattered and can't be arsed. We did go out this morning.

milkyJammy · 02/02/2008 14:53

I felt like that yesterday Fairy. Is clouding up here now though

foxythesnowman · 02/02/2008 14:56

Then you've done enough Fairy.

They are now dressing up. I'll ask them to do a show for me. That should involve 20 mins of them jumping out from behind the curtains to my rapturous applause as I pretend I'm not reading the paper.

I just want someone to make me a cup of tea

foxythesnowman · 02/02/2008 14:58

Oh, and Jammy, sorry you are up to your elbows in feline vom.

FairyFay · 02/02/2008 14:59

I've given in and we are watching peppa pig

justbeme · 02/02/2008 15:03

Afternoon!
Norty - hope you're feeling batter - how truly awful! Did they remove the gallstones?
Hoepfully now DH will love you forever (if he didnt already!), now he realises what hard work looking after a baby is - did he do well? (or is there a pile of laundry?!)

Natty - so was the baillif looking for a previous tenant?

Went out to the local Farmers Market today -and then the swings - it was bloody freezing!!!
Glad Im home now!

justbeme · 02/02/2008 15:04

Oh and Jammy why isnt DH clearing up the cat vom when you are so ill? Kick his arse!!

foxythesnowman · 02/02/2008 15:05

Whatever gives you peace FF!

Mine are squabbling. Everytime DD1 opens her mouth a loud wailey-whinge comes out. They are all as bad as each other, it started before breakfast and has been going on allllll day.

I have a tub of Family Circle biscuits which I will place in the middle of the floor and let them feast on as a last resort.

I suppose if I am feeling shite, then they could be coming down with it too.

Arse.

foxythesnowman · 02/02/2008 15:06

Hi JBM! What did you buy at the Market?

justbeme · 02/02/2008 15:08

Only a blardy cauliflower!!!
Its all so expensive - £13 for a chicken, £8 for a meat pie etc
Oh well it got us out!

FairyFay · 02/02/2008 15:10

Hi JBM

Biscuits are often the answer, I find

FairyFay · 02/02/2008 15:10

Those are scarey prices

justbeme · 02/02/2008 15:13

Hi Fairy and everyone!
DP went to Costco this am
he got a whole tray of apple turnovers!
about 10 tubes of pringles
massive lump cheddar
and 8 bottles red wine
he spent £175 in total!!
methinks my muffin tummy is going to be here for a while!

foxythesnowman · 02/02/2008 15:13

Still doesn't beat my £16 for a salad though!

Mmm, I'm now thinking crusty bread, lovely chutney, some nice cheese, perhaps a quiche. Certainly not a cauli!

FairyFay · 02/02/2008 15:14

mmmmmmm please lob me over an apple turnover, ifthere's one going spare

FairyFay · 02/02/2008 15:16

Please stop all the talk of nice food or I will have to get off my bum, load the DCs into the pushchair and go to the permanent farmers market (via the bank to get a second mortgage!) to buy smelly cheese, olives and scrummy bread for dinner.

justbeme · 02/02/2008 15:17
  • JBM lobs out the 7 appleturnovers that are left!
justbeme · 02/02/2008 15:19

Im off to see if LO will have a lie down
laters x
